One of the best nurseries around Harrow, we had initially my eldest son at Muddy Puddles and with the toddler, we had decided to come back to them. Great staff and understanding director. Quite good programs and activities for kids. Every day we receive the summary and photos of it

We enrolled our child in Muddy Puddles, Rayners Lane at approx.8 months old. Now the child is 2+. The teachers are very attentive to our child's needs, and we get a daily update on how our child was there through an app, plus an overall conversation with the teachers when we go for a pick up. Our child
looks forward to go to the nursery. We also see that the teachers instill good values through use of books and songs. Eg. our child says,"hands are not for hitting, hands are for eating, hands are for painting, etc". Our child makes an effort to tidy up things and sings "tidy up, toys away". we also see that our child bonds well with all age groups (children as well as grownups). The nursery celebrates most festivals, special days like odd socks day, charity days, grandparents day, Father's & Mother's Day. All these give a sense of partnership in raising a child. We feel very confident when we drop our child to the nursery to go off to work. Because, we know our child is in safe hands!

So happy to have found muddy puddles. My daughter settled so well and is thriving there. They're so helpful and always attend to her needs and ours as parents. They always work hard on improving their nursery as a whole. Always involve parents in big events during the year and being able to see what
your child does every day is amazing.

They are very good with focusing on a child's engagement and progress, or constructive, suggesting areas for improvement and ways to support the child while they also providing specific, actionable suggestions for support, like practicing a skill at home or modifying classroom. The location was perfect
for us. We are glad that we sent our daughter there for her initial learning.

This nursery is the best choice that i made for my daughter to come here, she like every teacher from here, telling me nice thinks about them. When she start , it s not even 2 weeks and she s was settle there, and now when i come to pick her up, she doesn't want to come home , she want to stay more.
The bound between the staff and kids is amazing. They are doing a lot of activities inside or oustside, and they give many types of food and fruits. Many thanks to all the staff from here for taking such a good care for our children.

I wanted to take some time to pass on our thanks to all the staff at the nursery. Your efforts with our child are really appreciated!

The nursery have an app that allows us to keep an eye from the moment they are dropped off in the nursery and even include their learning achievements. They have clubs

provided by external providers and have already started a reading log for my toddler.

They are a great group of staff members and I have been incredibly impressed with the level of care and support received.

Last but not least, thank you to the owner and director of the nursery for being with us from the beginning and easing us into this process. The nursery was chosen out of 6/7 nurseries in the area and I’m glad I chose Muddy Puddles.

Our child now goes into nursery without crying and orders her grandma to 'go back to nursery' when she’s picked up so they are clearly doing something right!

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.531)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.531) out of 10 for Muddy Puddles Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.931 for Muddy Puddles Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (67 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.931
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.6 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Muddy Puddles Nursery is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 30 number of registered child places is 6, which has been reached with 6 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

It’s been five years since I moved to London, and during this time I’ve really enjoyed working with children and learning about the EYFS. The experience has helped me grow both personally and professionally — every day brings something new to learn and smile about. Working with children has truly nurtured my patience, creativity, and understanding, and I love being part of their early learning journey. Watching them explore, grow in confidence, and reach new milestones makes my job so special and fulfilling.”

I enjoy dancing, socialising, discovering new places, learning new things, pushing myself to take on new challenges and sometimes reading.

My career path into childcare began in 2021 and felt less like a choice and more like a profound calling. I truly believe it was meant to be—a divine plan that placed me with these little children. My previous roles as a yoga instructor, homemaker, and mother of two provided me with essential skills: mindfulness, patience, discipline, and a holistic focus on well-being. My purpose is now clear: to offer exceptional care and build the best possible foundation for their future.

Apart from work, I enjoy long walks in nature or city environments, listening to philosophical talks, dancing, and drawing.

I approach education with a fundamental belief: to become a great teacher, you must first become a good student. This conviction means that listening to children is the most powerful tool in my practice. By actively observing and paying attention to their unique cues and interests, I can truly understand their needs and guide them effectively.

Job Title: Toddlers Teacher Joined: 2023

My teaching journey began quite unexpectedly about 15 years ago, when I joined a small phonics course at my son’s school. What started as simple curiosity soon became a true passion, inspiring me to complete my teaching assistant courses and step into the world of education. Over the years, I have also had the joy of teaching the Indian classical instrument, the Veena, sharing the beauty of music and culture with others.

After spending several years in banking and gaining valuable life experience, I felt a strong pull to return to what I love the most—teaching. Now, as I begin my very first role in EYFS, I feel both excited and fulfilled to be back where I belong, helping little learners grow and discover the world.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, exploring different foods, spending time with friends and family, painting, and dancing at community events and parties.

Every chapter of my journey—from music and banking to teaching—has brought me closer to what truly makes me happy: inspiring others, staying creative, and celebrating life.
