Chatterboxes Pre-school

The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They genuinely care about my child and provide a nurturing, happy and welcoming environment. My little one loves it and often asks me to go to nursery on days when she is at home!

We had a wonderful year at Chatterboxes and would highly recommend it as a nursery placement. My son loved going in each day. All of the staff always took the time to treat him as an individual, work out his specific interests and allow him to make choices that kept him happy and content and engaged in the activities. He spoke highly of the friends he made and the games he played with them there. He loved being out in the garden and spent a lot of time there. If we ever needed to change our days, this was always accommodated. Thank you for always looking after us so well Chatterboxes - we miss you!

Two of my children attended Chatterboxes and they both loved it and were very sad to leave, they both started when they were 2.5 years so it took a couple of weeks for them to settle and the staff was so helpful in settling them and were very flexible with timings. I always recommend Chatterbox to family and friends. My girls both made a lot of progress here and the staff was always so amazing with them.

They are very patient and supportive. The children love the activities that they organise. I would definitely recommend Chatterboxes to anyone as it gives children an opportunity to develop through play.

Great nursery, my son was here from 2 years and he loved every minute! The staff are all lovely, friendly and professional. They have a great outdoor area which they use all the time. Was a great nursery and hoping to start my daughter soon when she's 2!

Overall a great experience since my child started 6 months back. Great progress shown by her in all aspects. My child loves going there and that is all that matters to us. She instantly connected the day we first visited and it is great to watch her learn, play, socialise, and have fun with the staff and her friends.

Good value for money. Great for every day (it's only mornings) or one day a week so you can get on top of the housework!

Even though my child left Chatterboxes earlier this year, I will always cherish the genuine care and kindness demonstrated by the staff towards me and my child. I highly recommend Chatterboxes to anyone seeking a nurturing and enriching early childhood setting for their child.

My daughter started at Chatterboxes two years ago and she had had a wonderful experience. The staff to child ratio is amazing and she has developed supportive, welcoming relationships with all the staff. The team are committed to child-led play and outdoor learning and this has helped my daughter develop confidence and social skills, which I really appreciated give she is a 'pandemic baby' really, being only five months old when lockdown began. The team are inclusive, stable and take time to get to know every child as an individual. My daughter always misses Chatterboxes in the holidays. I cannot recommend the preschool enough.

I'm very happy with this nursery. The staff offer a friendly, caring approach to looking after my son. The daily activities help to develop my son's learning as well as lots of free playtime. My son is always happy to be dropped off.

I cannot express anything but a big thank you to all members of staff for the way my daughter had been receiving support and help at the nursery. She misses the staff and kids a lot.

The staff at Chatterbox have been an amazing support in helping my son grow in his independence and social skills. They have all been very understanding and patient in helping him settle in. Brilliant enthusiasm and facilities creating a welcoming atmosphere for parents and their children. I can't commend them enough!

A fantastic setting where learning happens through play and always a warm welcome. My son went there just once a week, which I thought could be challenging as he would not be there long enough to adapt, but the leaders were really reassuring, and the settling-in process was really detailed yet also really relaxed. My son really enjoyed it, especially all the hands-on outside activities - the garden is fantastic. He was given a choice of activities, which I think is great and meant the care was tailored to him. It helped him develop social skills, and he left knowing all the leaders’ names as well as the children’s! I think it’s been really good for him, and he’ll be better prepared for school having been here.

Great foundation for my children’s education.

This is a fantastic nursery. My son has been attending for a year, and previously my eldest son attended for 2 years. The staff are lovely and caring and are like part of my family. My son adores them and loves going to nursery. He learns something new every day and they spend a lot of the time outside in the fresh air (weather permitting) which I think is very important. My son's speech and confidence have grown through play and various activities the nursery provides. Wonderful nursery, high recommend.

My daughter (2) adores going to Chatterboxes Nursery. She loves playing outside with her friends and happily talks about all the fun things that they do each day. Since starting at Chatterboxes she has really come on in a lot of areas of her development as well.

The team are fantastic with our son and he loves going to nursery. They always seem so patient, caring and considerate with each child. I especially like their attitude to play and outdoor activities, encouraging the children to enjoy a range of activities. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their child to be properly cared for rather than just "babysitting" for the time they're there.

It's been lovely to see how quickly my daughter settled here as she had only been looked after by family. Staff were friendly and welcoming and have involved parents in their child's learning journey. I have noticed such a difference in my daughter since she started at Chatterboxes - in the park, she will now talk to other children where previously she had shied away. The outside space is lovely and I notice there is often new climbing equipment/obstacle courses to challenge the children.
