Kids Planet Hale nursery is rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2020 and is based in a former doctor's surgery with excellent grounds and an interior that suits early years learning. A skilled team support children in developing through play and exploration, taking an age specific approach to care and education. The team is passionate about preserving the magic of childhood, at the same time as adhering to the goals of the EYFS. As well as a well-resourced outdoor play area, the facility has its own sensory room and a menu of freshly cooked food is prepared on a daily basis.

Lovely nursery with a community feel and really thoughtful staff. Both my kids have loved Kids Planet and I have always felt satisfied that they are safe and well cared for.
Staff are committed to making the space vibrant and stimulating, with regular changes to play areas and new toys. They are
also continually thinking of interesting activities and my kids have always talked about these with excitement when I pick them up.
Most importantly, I have always felt that their key workers have taken the time to get to know my children and this shows in the enthusiasm and warmth that my kids always show for them in return.
I’ll be very sad when my youngest leaves next year, as Kids Planet has become an important, positive part of our young family’s development.

My little girl started at Kids Planet Hale when she was 13 months after we moved into the area. I have been nothing but happy with the nursery since she started there, and would speak very highly of the staff who work there and look after our little girl 2 days/week. The reason we chose this nursery
for our little girl was based mainly on the staff, and I would definitely choose the nursery again and would recommend it to family and friends.

This is an excellent nursery. Our daughter is very happy there. She never gets upset to be left at the nursery. The staff come across as being very caring.

My daughter spent two years here before going to reception and absolutely loved it. Staff are great and she loved the extra activities that are included in the fees - stretch and grow and pyjama drama. She has made some lovely friends here and still talks about her key workers.
We have been so happy
with the level of care that our son started here aged one in June 2019 and he has also been very happy, settled in quickly and seems comfortable and confident.
My only improvement would be more photos on the parent app as they are few and far between.

I can’t recommend Kids Planet Hale highly enough. My son has been going to Kids Planet since he was a baby and has been so happy there and now my daughter has just started. The staff are so caring and really know and care about my children. My kids absolutely adore them. The activities they do are great,
especially pyjama drama and stretch and grow. My kids both love the food and always seem to eat really well. Preschool were also great at preparing parents and kids in readiness for school, on things like phonics etc. All-round a great nursery.

My five-year-old daughter attended here and my two-year-old son is currently at Kids Planet Hale. We are so happy, both of our kids love it and love the staff. They always have fun but have learned a lot too. It's nice to feel relaxed going to work, knowing they are in safe hands. They do a range of
activities, from outdoor play to crafting and drama to languages. The staff are also very helpful when it comes to certain milestones, such as potty training, weaning, sleep training. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kids Planet Hale.

Fantastic nursery. My daughter has been going here almost three years, and my son about 18 months and they love it. The staff are fantastic, they seem to really care about the children, and they listen and respond to feedback really well. The food my kids eat here is brilliant, varied and high quality
(they eat way better here than they do for me at home!). I know my kids are really well cared for at this nursery and can’t recommend it enough. I’ll be so sad when they leave and go to school because they’ve been given such a fantastic start here. Thank you Kids Planet!

I'm so happy I chose Kids Planet for my toddler. He has come on so well with his speech since starting earlier this year and he absolutely loves activities such as Pyjama Drama and Stretch and Grow. All the staff are extremely friendly and approachable so I feel completely reassured that my son is in

I cannot recommend Kids Planet Hale enough. My daughter's been attending since 13 months and has gone from strength to strength. Staff have been fantastic with her, supporting her through all major milestones - from using cutlery to potty training. They offer a range of activities, including drama and
sports sessions and Spanish classes. They've also done local trips (e.g. old people's home) and had interesting people come to talk to them (train drivers to dentists). She is always stimulated, whether it's through imaginative play or through organised activities (e.g. chicks hatching within the nursery). They keep us updated with her progress through parents evenings, her learning journey folder or informal chats. The menu's varied (it always amazes me what she eats at nursery). Facilities are also good - they have a great garden area and sensory room. Staff are always friendly and have taken a genuine interest in my daughter's wellbeing. She's been happy, confident and well supported.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

After completing my BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies and PGCE in Primary Education, I began my journey at Kids Allowed as a Nursery Practitioner before progressing to Preschool Room Leader and Early Years Teacher. I later became Deputy Manager at Kids Planet Altrincham, completing my Level 3 SEND qualification during this time. In August 2024, I became Nursery Manager at Altrincham and moved to Kids Planet Hale in January 2025. I’m passionate about supporting my team and helping every child reach their full potential.
