Kids Planet Macclesfield offers reliable and flexible childcare and has done since first opening its doors in 2011. The nursery opens every weekday from 7.30am-6.30pm year-round and caters for children from babies to preschool.

The nursery is a warm and welcoming setting with well-equipped indoor and outdoor spaces. The team are highly trained and committed to giving children the best start, making sure every child knows that they are valued and respected during their time at the setting.

Both of my children have been at Kids Allowed Macclesfield since a young age. It has been like a home away from home for them and they have loved their time there so far. It's great to hear about the different activities they do - something new every day. And their key workers have been amazing! I would

I can't recommend Kids Allowed Macclesfield enough. Both my daughters have been there and they have been brilliant throughout the 6 years we have been coming. My younger daughter has additional needs and they have handled this amazingly. She had 1:1 care (funded by the council) and they ensured all
of her therapies were carried out and all of her needs met. I can honestly say that she would not be the happy, confident little girl that she is today without the brilliant people at Kids Allowed.


Whenever we have had a slight complaint they have dealt with it positively and quickly. They've always come back to me afterwards with what they have done and what will be changed going forwards to ensure it doesn't happen again. They always welcome feedback.
I don't know any other children who have been prepared for school as well as those from Kids Allowed. They have their lunch in the Studio, change themselves for PE and even have a full-time teacher for 'lessons'. This ensures they have the best possible start to school.

I have two children at Kids Allowed Macclesfield. My eldest is now in the preschool and has been at the nursery from six months old. My youngest is in the baby room. Comparing my experience of this nursery to the childminder and other local preschools I used for my eldest two children, I can highly
recommend this nursery.
All the staff are amazing. The activities they do on a daily basis ensure the children are having fun and learning. The activities are varied and the trips are interesting (they don't cost extra). I can see how much attending this nursery has enabled my youngest two children to develop. I only wish this nursery was here when my eldest two were younger.

I was hesitant about sending my shy two year old daughter to nursery but was instantly reassured as we had a look around - she walked straight in and was wowed by the fresh, bright environment and friendly team. As soon as she started she settled well as she was so tempted by the activities and trips!
Toddler team are brilliant and have gradually seen our daughter turn into a chatterbox!

KA Macclesfield is a brilliant nursery. Our son is confident, happy and ready to move onto school thanks to the care provided at the nursery. The staff and management are excellent. The trips and activities are varied and frequent. KA has been a very positive experience and we would recommend it to

This nursery is more expensive than most other nurseries but you certainly pay for what you get. The only place I would ever feel safe leaving my child. The staff seem happy to be there and so do the children.

Excellent. Safe. High quality environment. Caring and friendly staff. Good number of activities to help the kids learn. Sensible policies around illness medicine etc etc. Parking can be a pain but is a price worth paying for feeling happy about where my little one is. Pricing seems competitive with
other quality nurseries. If we have another they will go there too.

KA is an amazing nursery, it has given my son the best start in life! The staff are so friendly. Whenever you pass a member of staff in the corridor or in the child's room they have always got a smile on their faces! I would 100% recommend KA to any parent. I will be sad when its time for my son to

My son has been here for the past nearly 2 years. He always has fun, goes out on day trips, makes things, and he has learnt so much and come on so well being here, he loves going to kids allowed and we have both made some life long friends. He is leaving to go to school this year in September which
is going to be a very sad goodbye. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.??

Macclesfield Kids Allowed is a fantastic nursery. Our daughter has been there from 6 months through to pre school. Each room has equally high standards, the staff are very switched on, hard working, caring and attentive to both the children and parents. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I viewed 10 nurseries, and nothing compared to Kids Allowed. My daughter is very active, and I was concerned by nurseries where children are held in one room. At Kids Allowed, the children are taken out on trips weekly, they have free access to outdoor space any time of the day, and the rooms are a
great size. There are also other rooms within the building that they visit - the studio, sensory and soft play rooms. My one hesitation had been the number of kids, which at times can sound high, but actually it is rarely crowded due to children out at various locations, and in fact the size of the nursery is a great asset as it means there are a much higher standard of facilities available.
There are lots of group activities, and the staff really know the kids. The interaction is extensive, but all play led. My daughter has learnt a great deal during her time at nursery, and I really couldn't recommend Kids Allowed highly enough.
I have an irregular work pattern, yet Kids Allowed can make it work, where several other nurseries wanted to charge me full time to get the flexibility, Kids Allowed are happy to swap sessions and work around my timetable. The person on reception is a legend.


The literature all suggests we are schooling children too early and limiting their play which in turn limits their learning. Kids Allowed philosophy is to learn through play, and where some nurseries pay lip service to that phrase, Kids Allowed have struck it perfectly.

Fantastic childcare setting, my kids have been members of a few and the care and education here surpasses every other setting. Staff are extremely friendly and professional, educational trips are included so the kids are always out and about doing the kind of stuff parents would do with them.

Hi, I’m Chloe, one of the Nursery Managers here at Macclesfield.


I’ve been part of Kids Planet Macclesfield for 11 years, starting as an apprentice and working my way through roles such as Pre-School Room Manager and Deputy Manager before becoming Co-Manager.


I hold a Level 4 Early Years Advanced Practitioner qualification and a Level 3 Early Years SEN Coordinator qualification.


I’m passionate about supporting children to thrive, grow, and feel safe in a secure and nurturing environment.
