About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

The staff have always been so caring and supportive, and she's absolutely loved going in. She loves the outdoor play area, and there is always fun activities for her to do, from Forest School to baking, crafts, gardening/eco school, science projects, paddling pools in the summer, trips to the local park and shops, and tea parties in the woodland. It's clear how much thought goes into giving the children such a wide range of experiences.
As she gets ready to start school in September, we're so grateful for everything the nursery has done for her. She's leaving with so many happy memories, wonderful friendships and the confidence to take on her next adventure. Thank you to all of the team for giving her such a brilliant start.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It has been a privilege to be a part of your daughter's early years. We know she is going to enjoy the next stage in her education journey. Kind regards, Little Rainbows Academy.

I just need to say that my son has been in this nursery since he was 11 months. He absolutely adores the place and the staff. Not only has his speech and communication skills enhanced, but also his social skills and behaviour. The staff give advice and go above and beyond for the children here. Remember they aren't their parents but the work they put in is phenomenal. He talks about school and the friends he has made. He is 2 years and 6 months now and I can't praise this nursery enough. Thank you for every thing you have done. Oh I forgot to mention, the amount of food he eats there is astonishing, from pie to poached fish and plenty of fruit and veg.

Avoid this nursery, my daughter has now taken my grandchild out of this nursery for some of the following reasons; grandchild had toilet training accident at this nursery, instead of throwing soiled underwear away they placed underwear with poo in a nappy bag and then put it in nursery bag on top of my grandchild's packet lunch and never told us. One member of staff tells you one thing another member of staff says something completely different, grandchild has now started big nursery (afternoons) and they left my grandchild there as they forgot to collect my grandchild who was totally distraught. There's a hell of a lot more that parents/carers need to know about this nursery of which I am not allowed to state but please avoid this nursery. My daughter has had lots of problems with this nursery over a period of months and all they said was give us another chance it won't happen again but the problems did continue.
In response to the review it is our policy not to throw away personal items and clothing belonging to children. Staff are trained in infection control and are aware of our procedures to sluice underwear and place in nappy sacks for parents to take home to be laundered. Any concerns that are raised...

My kids attended Diamond Day for almost 2 years. It is a lovely nursery and my kids totally enjoyed it there. I was at peace knowing my kids were in safe hands and well taken care of. The manager is so nice and all the other staff are lovely and nice to the kids. Unfortunately, I have to move to another city and I wish I can take the nursery with me. I recommend Diamond Day, they keep improving and I wish the nursery all the best.
