Modern Montessori International, MMI Preschool, Raynes Park

This is a wonderful nursery. My daughter has been extremely happy here. The outdoor area is unique and the children are able to play outdoors a lot. The learning is excellent and the activities they do are really great including cooking, Spanish and play ball all included. I cannot recommend this nursery more highly. The manager is a one in a million.

My two children (aged 4 and 3) have attended this pre-school 3 days per week since shortly after their second birthdays, and we have just put them up to 4 days. We can tell how much they love their days there by the way they act at drop off: running to the door without a backwards glance. The on-site staff are all lovely and communicate well with us to let us know what's going on at the nursery, and with our children. Highly recommended.

My daughter went to MMI from May 2016 till July 2020. She didn't speak English at the time, and now she speaks fluent English. It's a very warm and welcoming environment, and the children are very happy there. The headteacher is very flexible and understanding, always willing to cater/accommodate for your child's needs. They have music lessons, cooking classes, sports and Spanish every week included in the price. Plus the key person does one to one teaching with your child using Montessori approach and technics. My daughter passed the entrance test for the high school all thanks to the staff at MMI; I haven't done any extra work with her at home. My two younger children will be going to MMI, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I couldn’t imagine a better nursery for my child. They are very caring and this is what I wanted.

Our two children attended MMI at Raynes Park from age 2 to 4, and they both absolutely loved their time there. The headteacher and the teachers are so sweet, caring and approachable. They know the children so well, they put their hearts out every day not only to teach and care for them but also to provide them with the most fond and fun memories of their first steps into education. My eldest has been out of pre-school for a few years already, but still talks about and remembers the teachers (which are still there today, there's a sense of strong community and familiarity as teachers have been there for years) and we pass by to say hello every now and then. This lovely nursery and the amazing people that are part of it will be deep in our hearts for the longest time. Thank you!

Such a fantastic nursery, my daughter has loved it and we are sad she is leaving to start reception! The manager and staff are all fantastic ladies and have made every day such a delight for my daughter. The outside area is fantastic, such a rare find in London. All of the activities and learning my daughter has been involved in has nurtured her confidence, independence and her sense of belonging. Thank you, MMI Raynes Park!

I was meticulous in my research of local nurseries - I visited over 6, looked at Ofsted reports, and read any review I could find. My priorities were outdoor space and a relaxed atmosphere where my daughter could learn freely and at her own pace. As soon as I walked into MMI, I knew this was the right place for us. The manager and her team are exceptionally gifted teachers, with a genuine love for the children. They take particular care to meet each child's individual needs. They appreciate all children are different. Within just a few weeks of starting MMI, we noticed our daughter's language, counting, motor skills, imaginative play, physical ability and problem-solving had significantly developed. Our daughter has blossomed this last year and has had the best start I could have hoped for. MMI is full of happiness, warmth and love. The manager and her team have nurtured a love of learning in our daughter that will stay with her forever. I can't recommend MMI enough.

I'm very pleased with the choice of this nursery for my two children. All staff are very friendly and supportive. I know my children are in good hands and are well looked after. The nursery also has a strong child's development programme which prepares them for the reception stage. My eldest child was able to pick up phonics and maths basics easy when starting reception class last year. I do recommend MMI Day Nursery to all parents.

My 3 children are/have been part of the school. The new school manager is amazing, and as a parent, I can confidently send my youngest knowing she in safe hands. The school has a warm, cosy environment and all teachers are amazing. You can speak to them at any time about your concerns and they help you to understand the best way to resolve them. My daughter runs straight into the class without hesitation as she feels safe, happy and looked after. The school has a variety of activities, provide computer and extra languages as an external activity.

I can't explain how delighted I am with the nursery. My 3-year-old girl is going there five full days and she is already so independent because of the loving and supportive teachers and staff. The facilities are amazing and the kids never felt bored there. I prefer Montessori practices vs traditional as I see how this method develops various practical life skills. The garden is huge and well equipped and kids usually spend long hours outside playing and learning at the same time. The atmosphere is warm, calm and very friendly. Something that really impressed me is the cleanness. I'm so thankful to the staff for helping me during the potty training period. I receive incredible support dealing with my daughter's tantrums. The big advantage is the monthly fee which is significantly cheaper comparing to the other nurseries around.
