BarBar Nursery Ltd - Quedgeley

I am really pleased with this nursery. My son has been settling into the baby room and so far has been enjoying every minute. The manager is lovely and quick to respond to any queries or requests. Registering him was easy and fast. The staff have been communicating well and informing us of what he has been doing, eating and sleeping times. My son is always clean when I pick him up and his nappies are always changed regularly.

Our boys started going to BarBar Nursery Ltd - Quedgeley in July 2021, starting in the toddler room. We cannot fault the nursery and both boys have come on leaps and bounds. The staff are always great to deal with, both my boys can sometimes be challenging and the staff always cope amazingly with them. I find the communication with the nursery to be of a high standard and the use of the app is really good. They always make the effort to keep us up to date with what the boys have been up to. Two members of staff, in particular, I would mention as being so good with the boys, they are always open, make a real effort and are lovely.

Children are always happy being dropped off and sometimes don’t want to come home! We love the mix of craft, indoor and outdoor play as well as baking and messy play amongst some of the activities - usually all whilst learning.

Our son has attended the nursery for almost a year now and is thoroughly enjoying his time there. The Staff at BarBar are welcoming and very professional; always willing to spend a few minutes to discuss our son’s needs, development or just his antics that day. There is a clear focus on engaging the children in activities that stimulate and encourage learning. We are kept up to date on his eating, sleeping and activities each day on the very good Famly app. Overall we are very happy that he is in safe and capable hands.

I make a 20-minute drive every morning to nursery rather than move them closer, mainly due to the staff.

A happy, friendly nursery with helpful, caring staff who always greet you with a smile on their face. My son has been here for 2 years and always goes and comes home happy. My daughter attended previously for 3 years and we never had a problem.

Lots of fun, arts and craft activities to do and baking etc. I would definitely recommend the nursery to a friend.

Since the new manager has taken over and the room leader of toddlers I've seen a difference in how much more settled and happy my son is. All the staff are approachable and caring. My son is very happy to go to nursery and looks forward to seeing everyone there.

She gets on well with the staff and the other children.

Since moving my daughter to this nursery in August 2018, I feel that not only has her development come on but it has really helped with her confidence around meeting new adults and children. I love the fact that the nursery takes the children out on outings and especially to the old people's home across the road. At my daughter's old nursery, I was paying more money for what I feel is for less. I am very happy and impressed by BarBar Nursery Ltd and all its staff.

The staff in the toddler room have made my son's transition from the baby room very easy. They have recently started sessions to encourage speech in a few children that need it, including my son. He seems to be responding and thoroughly enjoys his time in the toddler room.

Extremely satisfied, brilliant nursery. Friendly staff, very professional. Couldn't be happier.
