The staff genuinely care for the children as if they were their own, creating a warm, safe and loving environment where every child feels valued. They take the time to get to know each child as an individual and tailor their learning journey to their interests, abilities and development, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
The nursery offers an incredible range of unique experiences and activities that go far beyond what you'd expect, giving the children so many wonderful experiences.
We are very glad that we decided to choose such a special Nursery for our children.
Always happy to help and give very good handovers so we know what his been upto as he carnt talk to tell us and post lots on the app so we can always see some of the fun things they get up to as well.
My eldest went to this nursery and my youngest is still there. When he leaves we're all going to be heartbroken. I can honestly say I feel so comfortable knowing I am leaving my child in great hands. The outdoor play is my son's favourite and I love seeing how much fun he has thought out the day with the updates/pictures I receive. Most of the Staff have been there for years and we have build great relationships with them and we know they would go above and beyond for our children. Thank you so much for the love and care you have given to my eldest and still give to my youngest.
Our son attends 2 days per week and enjoys his time at WITW! He's made strong bonds with all the staff especially his link workers who no him very well. The children spend a lot of time playing and doing activities in the garden of the nursery which is all gated and secure. The staff send regular updates about activities your child is taking part in aswell as learning updates and targets. There is a daily menu board beside the door so you and your child can see whats on the menu that day and the choices always look amazing! Highly recommend this nursery and their staff!
I can't recommend Wind in the Willows highly enough. All four of my children have been through their doors, and each time we've felt so supported. The staff are incredible, kind, caring, and they genuinely go above and beyond for every child. They've always been so accommodating and understanding, especially when we needed extra help. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to look after my children during those early years. Thank you to the whole team for everything!
Lovely setting with equally lovely staff. The children get lots of time playing outside which I personally love and so does my daughter. My little one says she loves the food and is always happy to tell me she's eaten all her dinner! Overall a fantastic setting for children, no complaints what so ever. Special mention for Jessie one of the staff there; she has a lovely relationship with my little girl and she's always highly spoken of.
My sons absolutely love attending this nursery. The staff are incredibly supportive and have always been completely transparent with us. They provide a fantastic variety of outdoor activities that keep the children engaged. This is truly an outstanding nursery where children are cared for with genuine love and patience. The team consistently goes the extra mile every single day.
The staff are amazing. They are dedicated, nurturing, & genuinely invested in every child's development. They create such a warm and supportive environment that both children & parents feel part of one big family.
The nursery grounds are beautiful & provide the perfect setting for children to learn, explore, & grow.
What makes Wind in the Willows truly special is the variety of enriching activities they offer. No two days are ever the same!
From PE lessons, growing their own veg & learning about the environment, the children are constantly encouraged to be curious, creative, & engaged with the world around them.
The experiences & opportunities provided go far beyond childcare - they help shape confident, caring young people.
Excellent nursery, staff are amazing with the children. I trust them with my children which is a big thing. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. I have had both my children attend Wind in willows Longbarn from 2014 to present day and would never consider anywhere else. It's a small intimate setting which I love. My daughter and son have both thrived from attending and my son will miss them so much when he graduates this summer. Thank you so much for everything and looking after my children over the years.
They have gone above and beyond throughout our little boys coeliac diagnosis. Supporting us before the diagnosis with his symptoms and helping us navigate the lifestyle change. Now they are fantastic with his dietary requirements and make sure that he is eating well and similar to the other children in the setting so he doesn't feel left out.
We cannot fault this nursery or any of the staff, they are all incredibly supportive, loving and create such a safe environment for the children. Our little boy goes in happy every morning and he is absolutely thriving in their care.
My two kids have been coming to Wind in the Willows Longbarn nursery for the last two years and I can comfortably say that it is going to break all our hearts when they have to leave for school in September. When they started, my son had a moderate speech delay and they did some fantastic small group work with him to build his confidence and help him develop - now he doesn't shut up!!! The updates we get via the app are constant so you don't feel like you miss a single second of their day and they do tons of activities like the daily mile, planting and growing their own vegetables and herbs, and wildlife spotting in the nature garden. Recently they've been teaching the kids about the importance of looking after our planet and taking the children around the local area to do some litter picking which my two love! The staff are amazing, friendly and so helpful and it's truly the closest you'll find to a family setting in the entire area
My daughter has been at Wind in the Willows, Longbarn for over a year and she has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are so supportive and amazingly patient with my daughter. The care and support they give her is truly amazing. The staff always make us both feel welcome and always have time to talk to me about my daughter's day although I know how busy they are. I cannot recommend the nursery enough. I would like to say I really appreciate the support all the staff give my daughter.
