Small World Kindergarten and Montessori

What an amazing nursery Small World is! The staff are so caring and my boy absolutely loves going there. They teach the kids to be independent and self-confident and you can see it from the way the kids behave and play together.

The staff are exceptional; they truly do remarkable work. They look after my daughter really well, showing great care and attention to her individual needs. I particularly appreciate the regular updates and photos they share, which allow me to see how much fun she's having and what she's learning while I'm at work. I wholeheartedly recommend Small World to any parent looking for a nurturing and engaging environment for their child.

Small Worlds is brilliant, we are so happy with the nursery. They have great staff and lovely facilities. Our children are really happy there and are blossoming. The relationships developed with key workers are strong but likewise, the other staff also have good connections with the children. Transitioning them from 1-year-old to school-ready is done gently and with care.

Small World is an excellent nursery, our daughter has really enjoyed being there and we have always felt very comfortable with the care provided. The activities are fun and educational. All of the staff are fantastic and provide a warm, welcoming, fun and nurturing environment for the children. We would always recommend Small World to anybody looking for a nursery in the Ipswich area.

We've loved attending Small World. The facilities are fantastic, and the staff are all wonderful. My son attended for 2-years, and I'm quite sad that he has to leave to go to school, though I know he has been well prepared. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Small World to anybody.

Small World is a fantastic nursery. Our son has been very happy there for the last year. We lovely all the amazing activities that take place. The staff are all great and work very hard. We are sad that it is time for our son to leave and start school as we have always felt he was safe and happy here. Small World Kindergarten is fantastic - my son absolutely loves going and has thrived in the two years that he’s been there. I’m so sad that he will be leaving to go to school soon, but have no worries about the transition, as I know that he’s learnt so much at Small World, and they have done a huge amount to encourage his confidence and independence. The staff are all lovely and develop really strong bonds with the children - my son is so excited to arrive there that they have to prompt him to say goodbye to me! He particularly loves some of the extra activities they do, such as dancing, yoga and forest school, and the Montessori way of learning seems to really help them do develop their own individual skills and personalities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Small World to other parents; it’s a really caring and nurturing place. I am very much hoping to send my baby girl there too when she is old enough!

I have nothing but positive feedback, in every aspect of my daughters care that Small World Kindergarten provides. She loves her nursery days, her friends, her teachers and all activities especially forest school on a Friday. My daughter is a fairly fussy eater, they have encouraged new foods. These foods are extremely varied and of top quality. Fabulous Kindergarten.

Both my children attended Smallworld; my last is finishing now. Both have been very happy in the environment, and have flourished above and beyond what I expected and are been very well prepared for school. They have definitely both been treated as individuals, and the lovely nursery staff have given them tailored support to suit their development needs. It's a very happy place where you are greeted with smiles by both the staff and the happy children. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Finally, my eldest started school in September - the preparation Small World do to ensure the children are school ready is exemplary - my child has breezed through the school transition, and I have no doubt this is partly due to the brilliant work at Small World.

Choosing a nursery for our children was not an easy task. I was worried about them being away from me and wanted to find somewhere that ticked every single one of my boxes. After viewing several and nearly losing heart, we walked into Small Worlds. We knew from the moment we were greeted by the owner and spent our first few minutes there, this was the nursery for us. The team of staff has created a haven for the children attending. The children have so much fun, running, playing, making friends and of course learning. I feel totally at ease and have done from day one. We are always kept incredibly well informed about everything. The staff are always on hand when you need a quick chat, and the owner has always been incredibly accommodating around days/hours needed for the children. I can without hesitation highly recommend Small Worlds. It has been the perfect start for my children, who I know will start school confident, happy and well equipped.

The facilities and activities are fantastic and the daily communication with us from the staff has been exceptional. The manager and her dedicated team have created a wonderful environment for children to learn in which is why we would highly recommend Small World to any parent considering putting their child into daycare.

We had very informative parents evening our children's key workers have got to know our children so well and totally understand their needs, along with all the other members of staff. They all genuinely have the children's best interests at heart.

My daughter joined Small World in Jan 2019 and I couldn't be happier. The transition was seamless and she is learning and developing so much. The staff have been lovely and always understanding. The ratios are comfortable and I feel my daughter also gets some one-to-one time with the staff on activities. This nursery, I feel, also gives a nice balance in getting the children ready for their school transition. I would 100% recommend this nursery, I have no negative points at all!

My son loves attending Small World. There is a lot of opportunity for playing and being active as well as learning. I have really noticed how independent he is becoming, tidying up his toys and getting dressed by himself and taking pride in being able to do things himself which I think he is learning from the nursery. My older daughter also attended Small World and I've been really happy with the care provided.

Everyone at Small World is so invested in the running of the nursery and making sure the children are cared for. I am so impressed with the commitment and understanding they have of encouraging independent play, confidence and individual learning. My daughter loves her nursery!

Small World have been fantastic for our child, they are always very welcoming and attentive. They tailor activities during the day for his 'likes'. At the end of the day, there is handover and feedback. He enjoys all the activities and loves the bunnies and all the other insects that come in over the year. The teaching style suits our child perfectly, he loves practical learning and is already able to read which is a credit to the nursery. We have been so pleased with Small World and all the staff would and do thoroughly recommend them.
