Childsplay provides after schools for my 5 year old and day care for my 2 year old who has complex medical and developmental needs. The staff are warm, caring, polite and professional at all times. Nothing appears to be a bother and the staff have a willingness to learn and go that extra mile (daily).
They provide home cooked food and healthy snacks. There are loads of outdoor activities and fun, whatever the weather. They treat both my children as individuals and tailor a programme to suit them! I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly.

I would absolutely 100% highly recommend Childsplay nursery to anyone with children no matter what age. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, courteous and brilliant with the kids. It is such a happy environment at all times whilst being relaxed it is run with an extremely professional and fantastically
well organised feel. It is clearly very obvious that the time planning the events is immense as their scheduling is fantastic and they are incredibly reliable and understanding to both parents and the children. This is much

On my first visit to Childsplay I was hugely impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff I met and by the warm and welcoming atmosphere in every room. It is the only nursery I contacted that encouraged me to call anytime (outside of the post lunchtime sleep hour) to see the facilities,
rather that setting up a formal appointment.


I have been using the nursery for the past two years for my (now) three and one years olds and am happy to report that my first impressions have never been disappointed.


As a parent you feel that the entire staff team are interested in the welfare of your children. I have always been struck by the fact that staff who aren't directly involved in the day-to-day care of my children still know them by name and are knowledgeable about their likes/dislikes etc. This was aptly demonstrated when my eldest child went through a period of not eating well, both at home and at Childsplay. The leader of his room persisted faithfully in trying him with different foods, despite little success. This was a worrying time for me but I felt that the staff at Childsplay shared this concern and did all they could to help. Equally when his eating habits improved, everyone at nursery was as pleased as I was and he received 'high fives' from lots of the staff on the day he ate his entire lunch for the first time in months. It is this family feel which, for me, sets the care that Childsplay provides apart from that of other providers I have visited in the local area.


The facilities are very good, in particular the recently enhanced garden space at the rear of the building. Soft play and the ball room seem popular with all the children.


It is always lovely to receive paintings and, especially, cards the children have made. The creativity the staff display is excellent - I never knew hand and footprints could be turned into so many different pictures!
