Childsplay Day Nursery and Kindergarten

My child always has a good day at Childsplay Day Nursery. He especially enjoys the outdoor space when weather permits! Staff and management are kind and attentive. He enjoys the snacks and has made some friends.

We have been using Childsplay for around 3 years now. It is very easy to see why they have such high staff retention. A consistent face for children each day has really supported development and created a fantastic enjoyable environment.

From the very start, the staff have been wonderful. When our children were finding it hard to settle in, they were so kind, patient and reassuring - both with our kids and with us as parents.

It's clear that the team really care about the children. The staff are approachable, kind, and create a warm environment where the children feel comfortable and happy.

My kids enjoy the activities and it's lovely to see how much they're learning and developing through them. We also really appreciate the daily handovers - they're thoughtful and give a genuine sense of how the day has gone.

Childsplay's flexibility and understanding of family life really make them stand out as an exceptional daycare setting.

We're very happy here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other families.

Both of our children are very happy there, and so are we. The Christmas event is always a highlight!

We first discovered Childsplay Day Nursery in 2020, following the COVID pandemic, when they were able to take my son who was 1 and a half at the time. We simply couldn't have had a better experience, the staff are like a 2nd family. This is why we decided to enrol our infant daughter in 2024 and she is really benefiting from the care and attention that the staff afford her. There has never been a moment when she has been upset at leaving a parent in the morning. Excellent caring, interested staff, in an intimate small group environment. Highly recommend!

There is a genuine sense of kindness and care shown towards her which is greatly appreciated. They are also helpful in accommodating a change of day if it is needed.

I couldn't recommend Childsplay Day Nursery enough. I have two children in their care and the staff are absolutely fantastic with them. My son has multiple allergies and the staff are so diligent about my son's safety. One member of staff in particular has taken the time to understand his allergies and make sure every meal is safe for him. The staff provide activities that are engaging and fun for both children, with plenty of outside time. We couldn't be happier with Childsplay, they treat our children as if they were their own.

Choosing the perfect nursery for my children was such a stressful time, so glad I went with my gut feeling! Childsplay Day Nursery is the perfect place for my 2 and 5 year old boys! It's so good to have that peace of mind when I'm at work knowing that my kids are in good hands! My wee one never had any experience with anyone beside me before and I was impressed how fast he adapted and how happy he is to go to Childsplay every morning. Both the staff and the management are amazing, always doing their best for both kids and parents and you can truly see they care!

The management and staff at Childsplay Day Nursery could not do more to help us and our child day to day. Dealing with them all is easy and items are dealt with. The place is run in a reassuringly straight-forward way. No gimmics of fancy distractions.

We are very happy with the care our son has received at Childsplay Day Nursery. They have a family business feel, with low staff turnaround it seems to me. I'm happy my son knows all the various staff, so it's a familiar home from home, I like to think. I'm happy with the activities he does and it seems his day is nicely structured with lots of outdoor time.

The staff in Childsplay always go above and beyond for everyone. Both of my children love/loved going. Everyone is so welcoming and they always put the children first! The care and attention they provide to each child is the best I have seen.

Couldn't fault the nursery at all. Extremely supportive of both my SEN children and can't do enough for us. My children have thrived in ways I could have hoped for. Staff offer a homely environment filled with genuine interest care and nurture for each child.

The most caring, considerate and nurturing environment for our child. The support with medical issues/concerns was supported, understood and respected. My son adores his time here and his development is evident. The relationships we have all built really give me confidence in the care he gets daily.

We have used Childsplay for a number of years. The staff are kind, caring and enthusiastic. The management are accessible, professional and always go the extra mile. My child is happy, content and outside at every available opportunity. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Outstanding nursery. Flexible childcare with excellent communication to parents from staff and management and competitively priced. Staff show care and kindness towards the children and a genuine interest in their wellbeing and happiness. Complex dietary needs are catered for without a fuss. The staff went as far as to surprise our youngest with a birthday cake; it's like being looked after by family.

Overall Childsplay has exceeded my expectations. Having been in a previous daycare, I was apprehensive to move and was only doing so for the kindergarten offering. I did not need to worry. The daycare is fantastic. The amount of activities they do with the children is amazing and a lot more than our old setting. The food they provide is excellent and my child never comes home hungry. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my child is eating, something which I appreciate as she can be fussy at times. The only reason I marked lower for value for money is because I believe our government should be helping daycare and parents both. It is not a reflection of Childsplay as they are the same as the other daycares in the area.

Childsplay is an excellent nursery that has a feeling of leaving your children with a family member.

The atmosphere is always cheerful, friendly, extremely caring and enthusiastic.

The staff take care of my daughter like she was their own family. My son went for 10 years and they welcome him with such love and care every time they see him.

Childsplay always provide homemade food for lunch and have a seasonal programme that is fun and educational.

From the minute my little boy set foot in the nursery, he has come on leaps and bounds. I could not speak highly enough of the staff who have created such a lovely bond with him. He smiles with open arms when I drop him off and is fully content by the time I pick him up. I feel at such ease leaving him to go to work and, as much as I miss him during the day, I am so much happier knowing he's in a safe and caring environment where he's thriving.

My son has been going to Childsplay Day Nursery for more than 4 years the staff here and management are excellent and very friendly and welcoming people, thank you Childsplay! The Daycare is exceptional, spotlessly clean and well-managed. My son is very happy here each week. The meal plan is a great variety. All the different activities and outdoor play is my son's favourite too at Childsplay N.I.
