Ashvale Private Day Nursery - School Road

Would reccomend (and have) to anyone looking for childcare options in the area. Staff are excellent at keeping our son engaged and excited to get to daycare while being great at communicating with us the parents.

I cannot say enough about Ashvale. My daughter's time here has been absolutely amazing and both of us are genuinely sad that her time here is over. I felt my daughter was always very well looked after, cared for and supported during her time here. I was always updated throughout the day/ able to contact the staff and contacted immediately if she was unwell. It gave me complete peace of mind. The staff are a credit to themselves and the nursery.

I cannot recommended Ashvale highly enough. They have always provided our children with an exceptional level of care whilst offering them with wonderful learning experiences and fun. Every single staff member has always been friendly, approachable and smiling at the start and end of every day. I know my kids always treasure their wonderful happy memories of their time in Ashvale.

We couldn't be happier with this daycare! The staff and management are truly the best. They are caring, professional, and always go above and beyond to make every child feel safe, loved, and happy. The communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about each child's development and well-being. It's such a comfort knowing our child is in such capable and compassionate hands every day. We highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a nurturing and trustworthy environment. They keep the kids busy with lots of walks, trips to the park, library and cafe (and the zoo in the pre school room). She is leaving Ashvale fully equipped with the skills, confidence and independence she needs for p1. We are so grateful for everything Ashvale have done for us over the past few years.

Our daughter was happy for 3 years in the care of the women in Ashvale. I cried when her time ended. She often came home pretending to be one of them and telling me I was another so she could play school. She went willingly into their arms some mornings when our day hadn't started well. The day to day work of raising children needs the help of people who are loving and trustworthy and I'm glad that's what we found in the team. Outside space is only ok in my opinion, and upstairs rooms nicer than downstairs, also hard to give scores on some elements but on the whole, I got a good impression.

Our daughter has just finished with Ashvale as she is starting school in September. We cannot recommended them highly enough - our daughter has been through all three rooms (Baby, Tots and Pre-school) and we have had a brilliant experience throughout. Communication with staff is brilliant, they are warm, friendly and patient and we received regular updates via the app which was brilliant. They do a wide variety of activities with the children, which we can really see in her development. Overall we have had a really lovely experience and we cannot thank them enough!

We moved our child here from a different day care provider just over a year ago. They had never really settled with the other provider so we were extremely nervous about the move. I can thankfully say that it was the best decision as he settled so well with Ashvale, and became a very happy child there who looked forward to attending. The staff are friendly and approachable. They have a great manner with the children. There appears to be low turnover of staff also which is great for bonding/ stability for the kids. They share updates on the day via the app. Good communication in general from the nursery/ staff. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others considering it. We are sad to be moving on! The staff have been very welcoming, always kept us well informed and have provided a great variety of indoor and outdoor learning opportunities for the children. The app is always updated so it's easy to see how your child is getting on during the day. We would highly recommend this setting and know our son will really miss it! Thank you Ashvale!

Both of our children have attended Ashvale over the past 5 years. They have both enjoyed their time there and thrived. The staff are very caring and nurturing and know all the children and families well. The team has been approachable and flexible with our needs. They offer a great variety of activities and trips. We would highly recommend Ashvale.

I cannot thank Ashvale enough for the care they have provided for my two children who have both attended over the past 6 years. Every staff member is amazing and they provide so much for the kids. They have made our childcare experience so much less stressful and I am truly sad that it has come to an end. I have recommended to friends and will continue to do so as I don't feel you could get better.

A fantastic private nursery, all of the staff are brilliant and really care about the children. Communication is first class and our daughter has been so happy there over the last 2.5 years. Our child has been through all three rooms - the baby, the tots and the pre-school and the activities and assistance in all have been appropriate for her needs.

They have truly made our experience wonderful and we are so sad that it's come to an end. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.
