Puddleduck Nursery

Puddleducks is a fantastic nursery. The staff are incredible and my daughter absolutely adores them all, but especially one staff member in particular. They are always out and about exploring the village and she comes back everyday exhausted but having had the best time with her friends and the staff. I cannot recommend the nursery enough!

The ethos is very nurturing, caring and fun. It is a small, friendly, tight-knit team and, as a result, there is a real family feel. I know my child is loved, and learning through play in a supportive environment. It is well organised and the communication with parents is excellent. I can’t fault it.

Our 2-year-old has been at Puddleduck Nursery for 7 months and loves it there. The warm and friendly staff have made him feel comfortable and happy. They have gone above and beyond to support him, as a late talker, and are always happy to discuss his progress with us. We love the Famly app and enjoy checking his progress throughout the day. Although he will be eligible for school nursery in August he will be staying at Puddleduck as we love the support and attention he receives and the caring, family environment.

This nursery is brilliant and the staff are so friendly, helpful and supportive. My son loves going especially as a lot of the activities are outside and he wants to be outside all the time. He has made lots of friends and he always talks about them when he comes home with a big smile on his face and this makes me so happy. Thank you Puddleduck Nursery.

Fantastic nursery that has really brought on my child with everything they do. Great throughout the whole Covid journey with updates and making sure everybody was safe. Always feel I know exactly what is going on with my child and very friendly and helpful staff.

My little boy attends the nursery and he finds getting involved at times a little hard but the manager and other staff couldn’t be more helpful. He suffers from bad anxiety. I am so glad we chose Puddleduck Nursery. All we can say is thank you so much for helping us through this very difficult period.

I have also been really impressed with the range of educational activities and the variety of outside adventures.

This nursery is fantastic. My son loves going and always looks forward to his days there and I love his chats to tell me about his day when I collect him. They go outside everyday, which is brilliant and always have fun activities planned. The crafts have really helped my little boy to improve all his core skills.

This is a great nursery with really lovely staff, and more importantly, staff you can trust. I have 2 children who both attend, have a great time, and have strong attachments to their teachers. The activities seem wide-ranging and appropriate. I have no hesitation in recommending Puddleduck Nursery.

This nursery is just amazing. The staff including the owner are the best most caring wonderful people you could ever meet. I feel so at ease leaving my little girl knowing she is in such safe hands. They also do so much with the kids with wood walks playing in the park and fantastic learning opportunities.

Puddleduck is an amazing nursery. They do such great activities with the kids and really care about them, so much so that when we moved further away I couldn’t possibly imagine changing nurseries and travelling extra just so they can stay with the same attentive staff. I’m always impressed with their child lead learning approach, outdoor learning and the way they deal with emotional well being in a child-friendly way. Both of my daughters have come on leaps and bounds since attending. My oldest daughter will be starting school this year and is quite a nervous child, which I was a little concerned about as she won’t be going to the same school as her nursery friends, but the staff at Puddleduck Dunkeld have been excellent at arranging for her to have extra meetings with her teacher, which has been a comfort to both my child and myself. Could not rate this nursery highly enough.

A warm, caring, fun, home from home environment. Our eldest has attended the nursery for almost 5 years and we have been delighted with the level of care, attention to detail and support provided by the nursery. The staff are very supportive and caring and are great with communication. The children spend a lot of time outside and are encouraged to learn through play, they are also very involved in choosing topics they would like to explore. In a nutshell, we couldn’t be happier with the nursery and would highly recommend it to all.

Such a friendly welcoming nursery. My youngest loves the baby room and looks so happy in all the pictures, and my eldest is learning loads. Love that they are outside all the time and staff are very supportive.

Excellent nursery. The staff are incredibly nice and committed and really caring for the children they always find the way to make their day fun, entertaining and also full of new discoveries and learning opportunities. They adapt to the children and listen to their needs. Also lots of outdoor activities which is great.

The team at Puddleduck's are simply superb. The attention to our child’s health, wellbeing and education is superlative. We are incredibly fortunate to have this nursery in our community. We couldn’t be happier with all aspects.

Above all else, we feel that our daughter is loved, well cared for and stimulated throughout the day. Activities are child-centred and often child-led, varied and fun. The children are often outdoors both within and without the nursery setting. Planning and communication is clear and thorough and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is clear that a lot of care and thought goes into every aspect of the nursery.

I would thoroughly recommend Puddleduck Nursery to anyone considering it as a nurturing environment for their child.
