Overall would definitely recommend!
Thank you Lindsay for the great comments, we have loved having you and your family as part of our nursery for so long and will be grateful for the support you gave us in this time too.
Our daughter has never once come back home in a bad mood from nursery. She is always so happy, excited to tell us about all the fantastic things she has been doing that day. She has never bored and never not occupied with an activity or playing. They have helped her to grow in so many ways, from singing funny songs to identify numbers and letters, from learning how to say thank you and sorry, to identify all colours.
So, to all nursery workers at Busy Bees East Kilbride, we thank you for being part of the journey since our daughter was nearly two years old. Thank you for making this nursery a wonderful place.
Thank you for the fantastic comments Alberto, We are so glad to have had your family as part of our nursery family for so long.
Thank you to all the staff for such a great job you all do every day.
Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review! We’re glad you’re giving your little one the best start in life with us. Best wishes, Busy Bees.
My son loves going to nursery and is always happy coming home. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Very happy with our experience.

Our daughter started last October and despite the language barrier and after a few weeks, she settled really well and now loves going to the nursery. The staff are very friendly and provide good care and learning to the pupils.

My son has a great time at Busy Bees. He started off in the baby room when he was 6 months old. Now he is in tweenie room and will shortly be in the toddler room. Staff are brilliant, always ready to listen and offer advice. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I feel reassured that I am leaving my son in safe hands.

My son has been at this nursery for the past year and a half in the preschool room. The staff are great and are good with the kids, adapting to their needs. There is an outdoor area straight out of the main room which is used a lot with lots of activities for the kids (especially since COVID). Staff are good at ensuring sun hats/cream are applied too. The staff are happy to spend time to discuss the day and the ParentZone app is used to update on meals and activities/learning. The nursery is open all year round, as my son is on funded hours this means that we get less hours in the week but all year round which suits our needs. In the morning session, he has breakfast and lunch, and the afternoon session a snack. The meals are always varied. At the beginning, the staff went through quite a bit of turnover but the new manager has been there for over a year and we really noticed a big difference in the nursery, could not recommend it enough.
My son has been at the nursery since September 2020 and throughout lockdown. When I see how happy and comfortable he is with the nursery staff, I feel reassured that he is in a great and caring nursery. The way the staff are with the kids is lovely. I am so happy I picked Busy Bees at East Kilbride. Also, the garden is a big selling point for us, all that time outside is brilliant.
My little one loves Busy Bees and they have been great at keeping the kids going with activities to do at home during lockdown. They have checked in regularly and my little boy cannot wait until he can get back to play with the staff and his friends. One big plus point for this nursery is the diversity of the staffing team. There are few nurseries that have a gender balance in their teams and here my little boy has had the ability to have both male and female positive role models to give him support and input during his early years. This has definitely had a positive impact on his learning and ability to form healthy relationships with others. I would highly recommend Busy Bees to anyone thinking of starting their little one here. My son always comes out with a smile on his face and is always offered a healthy balanced diet throughout the day. We will be sad to say goodbye when his first year at school starts.
We have had our children in Busy Bees from the baby room through to pre-school and it has always been a positive experience. From the atmosphere of the room to the friendliness of the staff to the menu, and the range of activities we always felt that our children had a nurturing and enriching experience.
I have been very impressed with Busy Bees East Kilbride since sending my daughter last year. She loves going and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The ParentZone app is regularly updated and has been great for keeping us informed about what activities she has been up to and what she has been eating while she is there. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
My son has been at Busy Bees East Kilbride since he was 9 months old. Yes, they did have a period where the manager was constantly changing but the new manager has been a welcome addition. The staff are great - very attentive and good with all the children, not just the ones in their specific rooms. I cannot fault the staff in the preschool room as they do a fantastic job and always take time to talk to parents at the end of the day about what the children have been doing. The lady at the door always has a smile when she welcomes the children in each morning. I should also mention the cook, who should bring out a cookbook, the kids love her food that much.
My little girl loves coming to nursery and always has a fun time when she is here. The staff are lovely and they build a great relationship with the kids. There are always new activities for them to do and my little one is always learning something new.
Staff address any issues/concerns promptly and strive to address them efficiently and effectively. Staff identify any development needs/qualities of the attending child. The outside space is good for fresh air and used often. Inside equipment and activities good standard and enjoyed by attending child.
As a family with two keys workers, we have been so grateful to Busy Bees for continuing to accommodate our daughter during changing circumstances and giving her a lovely routine that she looks forward to each week.
The app used by the nursery provides daily updates on our daughter's progress and she loves having her breakfast and lunch there, even as a picky eater!
We cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done and all their hard work. If you are considering a nursery placement for your child then Busy Bees will be perfect.
I highly recommend Busy Bees East Kilbride as I feel confident at leaving my child in their care. My daughter has developed so quickly at this nursery and I know they have taken the time to understand her likes/dislikes and put things in place for her enjoyment. Their support after lockdown and settling my daughter was fantastic as it's hard enough leaving them but after the lockdown was heartbreaking. It has been the best decision putting my daughter here.
I would not recommend this nursery, I have just had to move my daughter who was in the 3-5 room to another nursery. The nursery is under constant different managers, the interim nursery manager in place whilst recruiting for a manager also runs another nursery so is only at the Busy Bees 1 to 2 days a week. The nursery is so short-staffed that they have merged two of the small aged rooms together. At times the staffing numbers are not meeting the requirement ratio to the number of children in the room. The staff within the rooms are fab but they are under considerable constraints with lack of support, training and leadership.
The staff at Busy Bees East Kilbride are excellent caregivers to both of my children. However, the lack of ability to keep a nursery manager in place is a reason why I would be hesitant to recommend to a friend. The lack of a permanent manager puts the floor staff under extra pressure when they have other things to do with their time and better spent with the children.
My child has attended Busy Bees for two years. I feel it is a great nursery and my son loves coming each day. I am also going to enrol my younger son in August. The staff are outstanding. The manager and staff are amazing all great with the kids. Facilities and chef are great. Since the new manager has taken over the nursery has greatly improved. The garden is amazing and plans for the rooms look great. The kids loved going to the Pantomime at Xmas. The manager is a very hard worker and has really great ideas that we are seeing being put in place.
A fantastic nursery with wonderful staff. My son has settled in very well after not liking another nursery in Glasgow. The nursery manager is second to none. The development improvement in my son is first class.
