Happitots Nursery Cumbernauld is based in the heart of Cumbernauld, on the third floor of the shopping centre opposite the library. It benefits from ample parking and local transport within walking distance.

This nursery is unique with its roof top garden which is fully enclosed for all children to play and explore nature. It has three bright and spacious playrooms with an additional multi-purpose room to give children a change of environment throughout the day.

A blend of mature, experienced and qualified staff along with trainees create a warm, welcoming and friendly environment for children and their families. Happitots staff are expertly skilled and dedicated to caring for children, treating all children as individuals and supporting all children on their learning journey.

They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

Staff provide a range of exciting, fun and challenging learning opportunities for children to play, learn and develop.

Happitots Nursery provides a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable sessions & extra sessions.

This nursery offers; quality early years care and education, healthy meals and snacks made on site by a nursery chef. Speech and language therapy is available and the nursery uses e-journals and interactive tablets and provides a graduation ceremony for children when leaving for school as well as the celebration of festivals throughout the year, trips in the local community and Spanish classes.

No complaints at all, every member of staff I have had any dealings with have been fantastic. They always go above and beyond and nothing is ever too much trouble.
My daughter has additional needs required and they have always taken on board anything she has needed and never treated her differently
to the other children.
Very happy with the nursery.

The nursery overall it's absolutely brilliant with my son, I would highly recommend it staff are all lovely and fantastic with him.
If you have anything that child needs support with they are always happy to help and go out their way for your child.

My daughter started at Happitots in the summer. My daughter struggles with new faces so I was concerned she wouldn't settle into nursery. However after a couple of visits, my daughter seemed so relaxed and content around the nursery staff and seemed to fit into nursery quite quickly. They spent 1:1
time with my daughter and built up a therapeutic relationship with her. I feel my daughter is safe and well looked after at nursery. They carry out a wide range of activities to help with development and update the app daily so parents can get an update. Really happy with our experience so far.

Contacted Happitots, after a bad experience with a previous nursery, and crying each time of pick up and drop off because of the complaints I was having. What I can say is I can't rate Happitots and the manager enough! She settled my mind to know my son was going to be well looked after and eased my
worries about leaving him with the care of others. The girls within the baby room are exceptional each and every one! They all take the time to get to know me and my son and work with him and his needs. And what a different boy, he's came on so much in a short space of time. And he's always happy when picked up. And no complaints just positive feedback. Thank you.

We moved our son to Happitots earlier in the year and couldn't be happier with our decision.
He settled easily, with the option of multiple settling sessions to ensure that we were all comfortable and happy. Staff are very respectful of the children and he is greeted warmly every day. I can fully
relax knowing that he is being cared for and that his development is taken seriously in a safe environment.
Our son talks about what he has done each day and it is clear that all staff members are heavily involved in activities rather than just supervising. We regularly pick him up and can see staff singing and dancing with the children. We get detailed information about what he does each day, often from multiple members of staff. We also like that he is now given choices of lunch as this will prepare him for making food choices at school.
Communication from management is regular, clear and helpful. Questions are answered quickly.

I could not be happier with Happitots Cumbernauld. The settling-in period they offer is fantastic and the staff really make a huge effort to make sure the child is comfortable before their start date. My baby started at 1 year old after never having left my side and settled really well because of their
settling-in policy and the hard work of the staff. The staff have made a big effort each to spend one on one time with him as he settled in so he is comfortable with them all. The staff are great at listening to his needs e.g. giving a nap according to when he needs it not just at a set time. He has only been at nursery for a few months but within this time has become so confident. The nursery is very flexible and accommodating. There is not one thing I could fault them with. I am so grateful to have such high-quality, reliable childcare at a reasonable price.

My son has been attending the nursery for about a month now in the baby room and I am so happy with it. I can relax knowing he is in good hands and he already seems to be learning loads. He gets so excited to go into nursery in the morning and is so happy and content throughout the day as I can see
from the regular updates on the app. The variety of food provided is great - gives us ideas for at home too. The different activities are also great and seem really fun and engaging for my son.

My son is very happy at nursery.
When I drop him off he’s always happy to see his room and never wants to leave.
Staff are always lovely and tell me all about his day.

We find the staff very friendly and welcoming when we come to nursery. The staff make sure to welcome when he arrives. We have noticed a big difference in his speech and understanding since joining the nursery, and he is trying new foods at snack times.

Excellent nursery, both my children love going here. The staff are lovely and I am always kept up to date with what is happening. I feel completely comfortable leaving my children here. I can see a difference in their confidence each week.

I have nothing but praise for this nursery.
After having issues in another nursery I was so nervous of my children starting a new nursery. All my worries have been put at ease.
Both my children settled very quickly within Happitots and are happy to be there. I feel there is a very welcoming atmosphere
within the setting and my children’s dad and Grandma have both said the same, I feel the staff genuinely enjoy their job.
Any queries I have had are answered very quickly and professionally.
I love that there is an app which is updated with nappy changes, naps and meals etc.

I would highly recommend this nursery so much, any age! My daughter is 2 and a half , I was so nervous for her starting as she’s never been to a nursery before and with me starting work. I was so late getting her settled in but the girls managed to help me out so fast, advised for everything and were
so helpful! The journal is so updated with absolutely everything, it’s amazing! Every time I drop and pick my daughter up she’s over the moon to be going to nursery and comes out so happy! Nothing better than seeing your daughter happy! The staff are so lovely welcoming and amazing with my daughter, it’s such a safe place and they are amazing with the kids.

I would recommend this nursery! The staff are all so friendly, and I feel safe leaving my child knowing they will be well looked after. My child goes in happy and leaves happy, telling me all the wonderful things he's been doing during the day.

My daughter absolutely loves it here. She's been going since she was 3 and is off to primary school in August. She is always chatting about her wee pals and what she did that day with her nursery teachers. Can't recommend the place highly enough.

My child always has a positive experience at Happitots Nursery Cumbernauld. She has a very good relationship with staff working with her. She has a varied day playing inside with water, sand etc and is encouraged to do crafts. She also experiences outdoors within the nursery garden area and in the
wider community when she is taken out with her peers. I fully recommend this nursery.
