Kirkintilloch Nature Kindergarten was established in February 1997 and part of the Bertram Nursery Group since June 2007. Delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

Situated at Whitegates Business Park, Lenzie Road, Kirkintilloch, within walking distance of bus routes and Lenzie train station, allowing easy access to the motorway for Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow.

A large spacious nursery, offering, many playrooms, for ages from 6 weeks to 5 years. Each age group has playrooms offering quiet time, story time and physical, messy and imaginative play. A large outdoor area for each age group, used daily. They offer Dance, Gym and Monkey Music classes.

In partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council, regulated by the Care Inspectorate and is fully compliant with Cooksafe regulations. proud to own an Eco-schools Green Flag, awarded twice, and be accredited with Smile Too and Investors in People.

The team take a holistic approach ensuring children learn to look after themselves, others and the world around them.


Provides a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including extra sessions and full time discount. They also provide up to 10% discount for siblings and NHS workers. Funding discussed at application process, parents must book more than funding allocation. No funded only places offered.

Included in fees is quality early years care and education, freshly made, healthy meals and snacks and a celebration of festivals throughout the year.

Amazing nursery. Staff are lovely and friendly and have made my little girl feel welcome which has helped her settle in great. Staff have a great bond with the kids and my little girl gets excited when we are going in which speaks volumes.
Good selection of nutritious food offered to the kids which
my little girl seems to enjoy.


Would defo recommend this nursery as it’s by far my favourite.

Very caring and approachable staff, my daughter has been attending since she was 1 and now in the Anderson room, she loves going to nursery and every day she’s learned something new, it’s great to see how much she’s grown because of the nursery.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming to both children and parents. Information is passed clearly and quickly and learning logs are updated frequently. Any queries and questions are answered quickly. My son thoroughly enjoys nursery and has made great progress since attending.

I have two children at Kidsplay and both are very happy there. The staff are friendly, caring and have established good bonds with my children. They spend a lot of time playing outside, weather permitting which is great. The food seems nutritious and filling and is enjoyed by my two. Attending nursery
has helped with their confidence and sociability. I would recommend Kidsplay to my friends.

A lovely friendly relaxed nursery. Staff are excellent and very caring and supportive. Every child is treated as an individual and their needs tailored for. The environment is learning through play with a relaxed feel to it. My son has a dairy intolerance and the cook is so accommodating, he never
goes without a hot meal. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Staff throughout the nursery are very caring and enthusiastic and plan fun learning activities for the kids. The Christmas shows are fab and staff put in so much effort. The staff try to get the kids outside as much as possible and I feel this is a real positive. Our kids are very happy attending this
nursery.


My only slight negative is I feel that the garden area needs some investment eg. new bark.

I have both my children at Kidsplay. The oldest for almost four years. The staff have always been amazing and accommodating to both caring for my children and also keeping me informed of any issues promptly, meaning I'm comfortable to leave them in their care. They are also both genuinely very happy
getting dropped off at Kidsplay which in itself speaks volumes.

They have introduced my little boy to the nursery amazingly. They have been so patient with him and especially patient with his settling in. They also made me feel comfortable when I had any worries and always reassuring when I call if he has been unsettled when dropping him off in the mornings. His
development has come on so much since starting at nursery and he is a lot more confident.

My son absolutely loves Kidsplay. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always very helpful. We have been extremely happy with the care our son receives and feel that he will be very well prepared when he leaves to go to school. We have recommended Kidsplay to family and friends in the area.

Kidsplay is simply great. My daughter has been attending for 2 years now and she has loved every minute of it! The staff are fantastic and always willing to develop and nurture our daughter's development through various activities such as role-play, storytelling and much more. I love the outdoor area
and whenever they can, the children are outside playing and exploring. Would highly recommend Kidsplay to anyone looking for a nursery.

I feel that all the staff members have been very welcoming and supportive of all my son's care needs (prem baby). I feel confident leaving my son in the care of the ladies in the nursery. The recent decoration was taken out with no disruption to children's routine. I highly recommend to everybody who

My second child has been attending Kidsplay Childcare for the past seven months. My eldest child also attended the nursery. I cannot fault the level of care given by the staff. My son has settled into nursery extremely well thanks to the staff and loves attending.
