From the very first drop-off we were reassured that our child was being well looked after. Every staff member helped our 8month old to settle in, learning her preferences and schedules. It is obvious on collecting her every evening that she loves Busy Bees Glasgow, Kelvin and the staff and she is happy, safe, stimulated and well looked after.

I am very happy with the care given to my daughter. So far she has experienced the baby and tweenies room and all of the staff have been fantastic. Supportive, friendly and experienced. The manager is excellent and everyone seems happy and approachable all through the nursery. My daughter settled very well and quickly and she really enjoys going to nursery. This gives me great peace of mind.

Both of my children enjoy being at Busy Bees Glasgow, Kelvin. They do a variety of activities, which change regularly, and always have options if a child wants to do something else. The variety of food offered is wide and always a crowd-pleaser. I feel confident in the staff, both in the nursery rooms as well as management. No request is ever any trouble and I know my children are well taken care of. Regular updates on their app give additional comfort.

We have two children in Busy Bees Nursery and both are care experienced. From our first introduction meeting with the nursey manager, we knew it was the right place. From day one, they took a trauma-informed approach, enabling our children to feel safe, secure and develop great nurturing relationships with the staff and build friendships with the children in their rooms. They worked closely with our kids helping them overcome challenges and build their confidence into the happy children they are now.
As a same-sex couple, the management have been fantastic in supporting our children to learn about different families (one parent, grandparents as main carers, two mummies, two daddies). We can always call or pop in to talk about anything. A person-centred approach is at the heart of this nursery.

Busy Bees, Kelvin is a warm and welcoming place with a large outdoor area (the kids love being outdoors). The food sounds delicious. We honestly cannot recommend them enough!

My son has attended Glasgow Kelvin Nursery since he was nine months old. He is now three and a half. The nursery has been fantastic and has helped my son develop and flourish into a fun loving little boy. My son loves his time and nurser and I always feel confident and relaxed when I leave him each morning.

My daughter started in the baby room when she was 8 months old. She became very attached to the staff there (and still dotes on them even though she has now progressed to the Tweenie room). They helped her gain independence at her own pace, which included crawling and walking. They were also able to continue with the baby sign language she learnt whilst I was on maternity leave. She still uses this even though she can say a few words now. My daughter enjoys going to nursery each day, has no issues when I drop her off in the morning and has managed to make friends. The children are fed really well and never go hungry. The management is friendly and helpful, and are also interested in the development of the children. I have no regrets with the nursery we chose and have already recommended it to work colleagues. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it in future. Please keep up the good work!

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at Busy Bees Kelvin and her development has flourished whilst attending this nursery. Staff are highly professional, experienced and caring. They do their utmost to meet the needs of each child and I feel that I can ask any question about my daughter’s progress and care. The outdoor space is fantastic and all age groups have free access to age-appropriate spaces with stimulating toys and equipment. The food is also healthy and nutritious and I like that the children are encouraged to prepare their own food such as making sandwiches in the pre-school room, allowing them to become more independent.

My son has attended Busy Bees at Glasgow Kelvin full-time for over 2.5years and he has progressed through each of the 4 dedicated rooms. In each room, he has settled in easily and has been so well looked after. He has bonded well with the committed staff and they always have a friendly chat with him. My son would feel nervous in certain situations and he feels safe and secure in the nursery environment. The staff provide daily updates on meals and activities and I feel my son has learnt a lot in his time at the nursery. The range of food on offer is excellent and my son is happy to try new foods which I feel is so important.

Overall I am very happy with the care my son receives at Busy Bees at Glasgow Kelvin and feel the staff are dedicated to the childrens' needs.

Both my children attend or have attended Busy Bees at Glasgow Kelvin. I have seen huge growth and development at the nursery in the strife for excellence for the little ones. A good variation of play area, educated staff, clear policies, good governance and a growth mindset. Each year there are changes and improvements. Food is great and varied.
In addition, they have been superb in supporting my daughter who had special needs the first 2 years at nursery.

The staff bond well with children. As in any nursery setting, there is some staff turnover. If there is anything that could be better it would be stronger staff retention.

So I dragged my heels sending out twin girls to nursery as felt they were developing well at home however, my wife decided to go back to work and we decided on Busy Bees.

The girls have come on leaps and bounds with their development. They recite songs, have built a network of friends and talk fondly of the nursery assistants. They eat great nutritious food and specifically due to the nursery like salmon, pilchards and chic pea Dahl. Amazing to think we were going to send them to another nursery with packed lunches.

The nursery is clean and has access to outside space. Drop-offs and collections can be busy and problematic to get a parking space but never waited more than 5 minutes for someone to move on. The admin manager and nursery manager are great and always helpful and knowledgeable about forms and process. A secure Facebook page now let’s you get more insight into your child’s day.

Would highly recommend.

My 2 grandsons attend Busy Bees Nursery at Glasgow Kelvin and I would recommend this nursery very highly to anyone. It is set in a beautiful location within Glasgow Science Park and has large open playrooms with access to a lovely garden which the children use daily. The staff are all welcoming and friendly and take excellent care of all the children in the nursery.
