Our son really enjoys attending Rivendale! The girls have been great with him from day one and were fab at helping him (and me) with his settling-in time. He loves going!
I like the app to get updates each day. The photos are a great way to let us see how he's getting on and what they've been up to.
Our son started at Rivendale when he was one and the staff really helped him settle in. They did all they could to make him feel comfortable e.g. making things similar to his home to help him nap. They were really accommodating with his dairy intolerance and in the early months really helped make it a smooth transition when he was still having expressed breastmilk. The staff pay attention to his preferences and development, and tailor activities to suit him e.g. he loves buses and so they organised a bus journey round the village. They are very nurturing and this is shown in his clear affection for the staff. He is delighted to see them in the morning. We've been getting lots of photo updates on his learning journal which we really appreciate.
My son who is now in preschool has been going to Rivendale since he was two years old. He absolutely loves going to nursery and the girls are amazing with him. They have always been very attentive and caring towards him. He always comes home and is able to tell me new things that he has been learning. Now my youngest son who is just eleven months old attends and again I could not fault the girls! Both my boys are always happy and excited to see the teachers which gives me peace of mind that they are well looked after and happy to be there!
I am happy with the progress he continues to make and love that the learning journal is updated regularly so I can see what he is learning and engaging in. I have and will recommend Rivendale to others.
The nursery have a great outdoor play space some is undercover to allow play all year round. My children come home having enjoyed lots of creative play outdoors and in the mud kitchen. Indoors they have various stations set up for sensory and educational activities.
Rivendale provide a healthy variety of breakfast and lunch meals and adjust the menu to accommodate my childs allergies.
Learning journals are used to keep me updated of the daily ongoings and some photos are uploaded to allow me to see any special activities the kids have been up to.
All the staff are great, both of my children have built a good relationship with the girls. I feel comfortable sending them to Rivendale and would recommend to others.
We have had a great experience at Rivendale. The staff are always warm and welcoming, they are also spoken of very highly in our home! We have recently registered our new baby at Rivendale too, starting in the new year so we look forward to continuing our family relationship with the nursery. Thanks so much to all the staff for your care and learning support. You are bringing our next generation on a treat!
She has looked after my son's needs and we will now be sending our youngest son.
There is also another member of staff that goes above and beyond to help with my son's anxiety.
Highly recommend this nursery.
Fantastic nursery with very accommodating and amazing girls my son has so much fun and has a very close relationship with the girls, thank you to the manager for providing a safe and enjoyable space for my son, sad the has to move on to the school nursery as I'm sure he will miss them all very much
My daughter really enjoys nursery and her development has increased from attending nursery due to the creative activities they do. All the staff are very helpful and approachable, they do a great job.
Our son loves going to nursery and tells us how the best part of the day is playing with his teachers. The activities he is carrying out and the reports we receive are fantastic and timely. The team at Rivendale cares about parents and engages us in establishing milestones.
My older boy went to Rivendale, and now my younger goes! Great staff very friendly and welcoming. They came on so well with going to nursery. The amount they learn is great and gets them ready for school
My little girl has been going to the nursery since she was nine months old, and now two and a half years old. She absolutely loves going and speaks of the staff highly. When she returns home she always has lots of stories about what she has been up to. The staff communicate well with me about my daughter's needs and asked me for my opinion on what she is learning. They have been really helpful with introducing toilet training and have helped my daughter with independent eating. I feel comfortable and safe leaving her at the nursery. The staff are all very friendly during drop off and pick up. And I look forward to hearing all my daughter's stories about her different activities
I have two children at the nursery and they both love it. The staff are very friendly and when I drop them off I am relaxed knowing they will be well looked after. I enjoy being updated about their day through the learning events and seeing pictures of what they have been up to. Would highly recommend as a nursery.
My experience of Rivendale has been great, the staff are very helpful and the management team have been very supportive to me personally.
I have witnessed both my children develop lots of different skills at such a young age and I feel that Rivendale has contributed greatly to this, so thank you Rivendale.
Thank you.
Rivendale is a great nursery with extremely friendly and caring staff. My child is always so excited when he is greeted by the staff each morning. When I pick him up he loves telling me about his day and what he got up too. He particularly loved when they done the caterpillar project and when the emergency services came for a visit. I feel safe leaving him in the care of Rivendale and the management have been so accommodating when emergency situations arise.
She is exposed to many different ways of learning and play.
If I could think of one thing being a little better, the garden could have a bit more colour/toys, it used to be very bright and beautiful a few years ago, but all in all, we are happy with this nursery.
Thanks, Lisa. for your kind comments - the garden is definitely something we will be looking at very soon. We have been focusing indoors on having our toilet and kids' cafe refurbished, but the garden is definitely next on our list.
We have been using this nursery since moving house two years ago, and both my children have loved it. My son really came out of his shell and found his confidence thanks to the hard work and support of the staff; they prepared him so well for starting school. My daughter is enjoying her time there too, and the staff know her well now and look after her so well. The staff communicate with parents very well, updating us on any changes. I would recommend it to anyone.
Our son has attended this nursery for over a year now, and we are very happy with his care and development. He is disabled, and the team go out of their way to ensure he is included in the activities and visits from his care team are accommodated. He is excited to go to nursery every day and has a strong bond with the staff and other children.
My son has attended this nursery since he was two years old. He was very upset when he first started, and the girls were so good at settling him in, but now he loves it. He is four now; they are great, always helping and wanting to help whenever they can. My other son will be starting when he is two years old, and I would highly recommend this nursery, seeing how far my son has come.
