Happitots Nursery Glasgow Airport is a purpose-built facility, ideally located for busy local parents to manage their childcare needs.

The interior is made up of well-resourced playrooms, that are large and spacious, allowing children a depth of new experiences to help learning develop.

Each playroom has access to extensive garden areas offering regular outdoor learning opportunities. From slides to swings, climbing frames to nature trails, children love their outdoor adventures at Happitots.

Activities are carefully planned to suit each and every child’s individual needs and personal interests. Carers follow the Realising the Ambition in younger age groups and the curriculum for excellence in the 3-5 room.

The staff team comprises a blend of mature, experienced and professionally qualified childcare practitioners and trainees working towards their qualifications. Staff are dedicated to treating children with patience, affection, enthusiasm and understanding.

Happitots supports Sport Relief and Comic Relief each year and children love all the activities they participate in.

They are delighted to have been awarded NMT nursery group award 2018.

A recognised Investor In People and Eco-Schools Centre, Happitots operates in partnership with Renfrewshire Council to offer funded sessions.

Happitots provides a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable session, extra sessions, full and part-time.

My daughter has been at Happitots for the past four years, and my son went there for four years too before he started primary one. I was initially drawn to the nursery due to its flexibility with shift patterns and handy location en route to work, and both my children have had the most supportive and
enriching experience while they’ve been there. They have the most amazing outdoor space which a lot of other nurseries I looked at didn’t have. The staff are fantastic and have helped my children come on leaps and bounds with their development, along with supporting any issues I was having at home (such as fussy eating and toilet training) it really has been a home away from home for them where I know they are loved and cared for. I’ll be sad when my little girl leaves for primary one after the summer.

My daughter attends the nursery and absolutely loves it! She has come along leaps and bounds, regularly they go outside to the garden and walk around the airport area which she absolutely loves, they are always doing different fun activities every day The meals and snacks are very nutritious as well!
The staff are so welcoming and treat the children so well!

My son has been attending Happitots since he was 6 months old, he has adjusted so well! The staff in both the baby room and Tweenie room have been fabulous, and nurturing and have had a great deal of impact on his growth and development! What I will say is since the new management team have stepped
up the nursery, has never been better! As a parent, I feel a lot more involved and up to date with his care, the girls have done an amazing job since starting their role and have definitely got the place up to the highest standards I’ve seen since my son started! I cannot commend them enough as management they are absolutely amazing and should be very proud of themselves! You can definitely tell they have spent a great deal of time revamping the nursery with all the displays throughout and organising the open day looked to be an incredible success and from personal experience was a really good day! I can say as a parent I am extremely happy with everything they have done and put in!

My son recently moved from the baby room to the Tweenies and I cannot fault the way in which this was done to help him. He’s a child who doesn’t settle straight away into new surroundings and faces but the staff in both rooms made sure he was welcomed and supported in the transition. The feedback every
day on how he got on and the reassurance made me feel more comfortable about the change. He now goes in each day and doesn’t look back. The information and communication from both staff and management is brilliant. I feel better knowing he’s safe secure well looked after and more importantly loving his days in the nursery while I work. Nothing is ever an issue the nursery is so accommodating cannot recommend it enough.

We are onto our second (final and last) child going to Happitots at Glasgow airport which means we have been going in and out at least once a week for the last five years. I am of the belief that they are at their best over this time.
The staff have a real bounce about them alongside their competence
with great work for both kids.
The facilities are improving more and more and I’m really happy with it.
The menu and food are great (with flexibility and backup options when the two-year-old declines what is offered).
The flexibility is fantastic, each month childcare can be different which is very useful as a shift worker - my colleagues at more restrictive nurseries seem to have it tougher.

My daughter has been attending twice a week since she was 7 months old and, as first-time parents, it’s lovely to see she really enjoys her days at nursery.
It is such a lovely, warm and inviting space. There are always lots of fun activities to do which are combined with learning basic life skills
and about her surroundings.
All of the staff are wonderful, caring and so supportive. Our daily feedback is great and we really appreciate the picture updates.
Meal choices are excellent and there is a wide variety of healthy meals and snacks.
I would highly recommend it to anyone and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful and happy environment for my daughter to grow in.

My daughter loves going to nursery and always gets excited when we arrive. She has come on a lot since starting almost a year ago and we have noticed she is much more confident.
Staff are always very prompt at phoning us if there are any issues, it's always good to know they will be in touch even if
she's had a small bump on the head.
The menu is very varied and she always seems to enjoy her meals when at nursery.
We also really enjoyed the open day that took place recently. I would certainly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our child loves the nursery and the staff are all great! They know her likes and dislikes and are always keen to get them involved in the play they enjoy! They get outdoors as often as they can and have regular messy play sessions which our daughter loves!

My daughter had her settle dates at the end of January and the nursery staff were absolutely great, as she wasn’t very good at being away from me and I was dreading how she would be - she did take a wee bit to settle, however now she is around 3-4 weeks into her actual nursery sessions and she has improved
so much. Not a lot of crying in the mornings and she seems to sleep better. The staff in her room are absolutely great and have helped her confidence so much and also encourage me that she is doing well, ie playing, eating and sleeping etc. I feel better knowing she is more comfortable being away from me and enjoys her nursery!

Very happy with the care our little boy receives here. He enjoys it. He is growing up to be a confident, social little boy.
The staff are great and very supportive, especially at a time when he was adjusting to his new sister being born. He was out of sorts. The staff could tell this and helped him

This is a great nursery with so much flexibility for the working parent. Early openings and only closed at Christmas and New Year means neither myself of my husband even have to worry about childcare. Not just that the teams are fantastic with my son having moved from toddlers into pre-school with ease.
He loves the varied play sessions, especially the outdoor forest play and nature trail to see the aeroplanes. All of the staff know him well and his likes/dislikes and will miss the teams when he leaves to go to school. Would highly recommend.

I was nervous leaving my son for the first time when returning to work, however, the staff at Happitots put me at ease. Settling in days were offered which helped ease him in gently. The staff are friendly and reassuring. You can see how warm they are to all the children and you can call anytime to
check in with them without feeling like a pest! The flexibility is a big bonus, but in all honesty, the staff make it the wonderful place it is.

My daughter (15months) has been at the nursery since she was 8 months old. She loves her time at nursery and has settled well since day 1. The staff are nice and friendly, always putting the children first. As I work shifts the nursery offer flexibility in the childcare I require which you don’t get
at other nurseries.
This is the second time I have used Happitots as my son (6) went here also when we moved to the area. He loved it too. Perfect location next to the main motorway also. Would recommend it to anyone.

I put both of my sons into Happitots at Glasgow Airport from the age of 8 months old and they are still there at the ages of 4 and 2yrs.
My husband and I both work shifts, so having the flexibility that Happitots offer is just fab meaning that we have never had to worry about childcare outwith council-run
nursery times.
The staff are excellent with the children and when your children come home chatting about their key worker constantly - you know they are doing a good job!
Overall, I would definitely recommend Happitots to any parent for children of any age as I have watched how my boys have grown with this nursery and how much they have learned in the time they have spent there and can honestly say they have done an amazing job!

Great nursery, my son has recently started and although he is still upset at drop off he quickly settles with lots of cuddles. The staff seem really caring and friendly. The flexible shift patterns are ideal with my job as I work unpredictable shifts. Would recommend to others.
