My youngest boy is now at the nursery and has settled in so well. The girls in his room are so good with him and on his first day, I had no worries just knowing he was going to be in safe hands.
Everyone is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend.
Corner House Nursery is fantastic because of the care and attention of all the staff. With two children currently attending, we have experienced every room, from babies to pre-school, and the same level of warmth, openness and love has been found in each room. Staff are always on hand to help, great app set up for updates on your child’s progress/easy invoice payments, and brilliant location. Our kids love it here.
Everyone at the nursery works hard to make you feel your child is important to them. My daughter loves going to nursery and has done since she was just 9-months-old. She is always disappointed when it is a mummy day and she doesn’t get to see her friends and the ‘ladies’ who look after her. ‘The walk to the woods’ is her favourite part of the day, but all the activities fill her with stories to tell me at home time. Throughout the pandemic, the staff have done so much to keep everyone safe and I couldn’t be more grateful. (Certainly appreciate all you do after working from home and childcare duties!) thank you!
Both our children have attended this nursery and in the 7 years so far we have never had any issues which haven't been resolved quickly and professionally. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, and there is a very happy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Bright Beginnings is a great nursery. They have been very accommodating to our needs and offer great flexibility meaning we don't need set days which works as we work shifts. The staff are professional, friendly and kind. Good communication from the manager. Like the learning journal idea, more on there would be great though.
Very happy with my sons experience at this nursery. He is always happy to go in and always has a smile on his face when I collect him. Their food menu is brilliant. My son's learning journal updated regularly.
Bright Beginnings Nursery Stirling have truly created a nurturing ‘home-from-home’ environment for the children. It is great to see such a dedication to the children’s development & the commitment to updating the children's learning journals. Would highly recommend!
My son has been at Bright Beginnings Stirling since being 10 months old. I was impressed from the beginning with how friendly and welcoming the staff were to us both. They have provided an excellent range of activities to help him in his development, learning and play and I particularly like the amount of community involvement they have compared to other nurseries in terms of local visits, charity activities etc. He loves attending there and has made some good friends. They have always been very supportive to us as a family unit. They also provide a choice of a nutritious, hot meal at lunchtime which is one of the reasons we chose the nursery.
Overall we are very pleased with Bright Beginnings, the staff have always been great over the years, including the manager, and the kids always have fun.
This is a great nursery, my little girl has attended since she was 1 year old and is now 4years. All staff are very friendly and welcoming.
We have both our kids at Bright Beginnings and have experience of four rooms. Both settled in well and enjoy their time there. All staff are friendly and welcoming and the kids have formed good bonds with them. There are lots of activities throughout the day ranging from pure-play to those with a more educational focus and these seem to genuinely contribute to their development. I was very pleased with the recent uptake of the Daily Mile scheme and along with "wake up shake up" and enjoy-a-ball there is a good focus on physical activity. The meals and snacks have plenty of variety with two choices for lunch each day and the kids always seem to find something they want to eat. When our oldest was prescribed glasses I was particularly impressed with the extra effort made to normalise it for them and their peers. Feedback is regular and informative and I got the sense that the staff really get to know the kids as individuals. Overall very pleased!
My children are respected and valued. Most staff and management strive to provide a high-quality service. Facilities and nutrition are good. There are 2 areas in which I would like to see the nursery improve: activities and learning. The children are not offered a wide enough range of activities to take full advantage of their potential to learn. While there are learning topics (H&S, dinosaurs, etc) and related activities, there is so much more the children should be doing in addition: allow them to experience and discover in a creative way their immediate environment: seasonal change, festivities (e.g. Easter), basic laws of physics. There is very little arts and crafts teaching and no use made of alternative materials for arts and craft, hardly any imaginary reuse of materials. They very rarely use alternative outdoor spaces (nearby woodland, playground, park, opportunity to climb). Rarely new songs, no poems, no puppet shows, only one children performance to parents in 3 years.
Our son has attended Bright Beginnings Nursery in Stirling for almost 2 years now and we can’t praise the staff enough. We are confident our son is well looked after and the staff are always very accommodating. The facilities are good and our son is always talking about what he has learned each day.
My daughter has been going to Bright Beginnings since 1 year of age (now 2) and is always excited and happy to see her friends and staff. The staff are great and keep us regularly updated via learning journals and emails. They are always helpful and I would recommend going to Bright Beginnings in a heartbeat! Well done on the great job you all do!
The staff provide lots of information about what our daughter does each day, including what and how much she has eaten, how long she has slept for, and the activities she has taken part in.
She was previously at another nursery and I was a little apprehensive about moving her but since starting, my daughter seems much happier going into and coming out of the nursery and I believe it’s due to how hands off the staff and management are with the children. The level of communication from the nursery is brilliant - never left wondering what’s happening.
The staff in the baby room are fantastic with the little ones and make every effort to make them happy and settled (my child is not great with new people but can really tell he loves the staff in his room). They get a good variety of food and nice little setting for meals. The outdoor space is good and they try and get out for walks in the buggies whenever possible. The staff are really trying to help encourage my child to walk and move. They are always happy to help with any requests we have.
The nursery provides a fantastic range of experiences for our daughter. There is plenty of outdoor play and craft activities, which she thorougly enjoys. Staff are supportive and encourage her to become a confident and socially aware little person.
All three of my children have experienced every room at Bright Beginnings Nursery over the last eight years. All of our children have been/are very happy there, built great relationships with the staff. All three have been really engaged and emerged curious and enthusiastic about learning, and made a good transition to school. The staff are fantastic, extremely friendly, kind, caring, professional, welcoming, supportive and fun. They're very focused on the kids, always considering how to make their experience the best it can be, and make a big effort to involve parents. The home cooked meals are also a major plus - all of our kids have had the chance to get involved with preparing food and love the meals there. The access to the outdoors is also a massive benefit, with kids free to come and go from the gardens, and they make good use of nearby woods. Highly recommended.
My daughter loves nursery days! The staff are all very friendly and provide wonderful care and early years education. The nursery is a safe and fun environment, both indoors and outside. The kitchen provides tasty home cooked foods, which has introduced my daughter to a wide variety of different dishes and tastes.
