Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons)

My youngest daughter is currently at Plantos. I am delighted with the care and there is a real feeling of home from home.

Overall, I find Plantos an excellent setting, where the staff love and care for all the children, helping them to grow and develop while having lots of fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Plantos to any other parents looking for the best care for their child.

My little girl has been going to Plantos since she was 1 year old. She absolutely loves going every week and I have seen her grow in confidence since. All the staff are so caring and nurturing, I couldn't be happier with her care.

I have nothing but praise for the whole team, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I had another child.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Plantos and that is down to the variety of activities and the wonderful staff. Every morning she's excited to go and we're greeted with smiling faces by all the girls, not just her key workers. They all clearly know all the children very well and recognise their personalities and individual needs which makes it very welcoming and reassuring to me when I leave her there for what are very long days. Her report each day tells me what she's done, eaten and how's she's been. The menu is healthy and varied and the days seem packed with all things from arts and crafts, playing in the garden, farm and park visits. They do fantastic work supporting charities and the community and plan fundraising activities that involve the children which are inspirational. The rooms have plenty of age-appropriate toys and games and the girls are always chatting, singing and reading with the kids. It's lovely and we're very happy with Plantos!

My daughter started in Plantos Nursery in Sept 16 and I must say, she was welcomed by everyone! The staff are amazing and so friendly. My daughter adores all the staff and loves going! They've helped her grow in speaking and communicating with other children. I'm so grateful for what they've done.

Both of my children has attended Plantos since they were babies. The care is second to none and our children enjoy attending and taking part in the many activities and trips offered. They have made long lasting friends as they have progressed through the rooms and will continue attending as they grow through the wrap around care and holiday clubs that are also offered. The staff are fantastic with the children and with us as parents with formal handovers given at the end of every session. The children love this nursery and grow in confidence so much. We would recommend this nursery to everyone.

My son attends Plantos and has done for the last three years. I find the premises clean, the staff engaging, friendly, professional and build brilliant relationships with my son. The nursery has various policies and is very strict with ensuring the child is signed in and out of each day. My son learnt to interact through play, cooking introduced to new foods and most of all learnt to play in a caring attitude towards other children older and younger. My son has grown into a lovely helpful caring chip and this has stemmed from attending Plantos nursery. I had massive worries as my son was only 2 and a half when he was enrolled we had a few rocky days. But I will never forget how the staff were towards my son and how reassuring they were with my son and myself. My mind was at ease after week one and we gave never looked back. If you're looking for a variety of development for your child no matter how old. I would highly recommend this nursery. I could go to work and know my son is safe.

We feel comfortable leaving our children here as we know the staff are really caring and our children love it. Each member of staff knows exactly what's going on with their group. If you're looking for somewhere with real old fashioned care, this is the place.

Both my daughters attended Plantos from the age of 1 year and I can honestly say that they are a fantastic nursery. My girls love all the staff and have helped them with social skills, learning through play and improving their interaction with other children.

Plantos is a lovely nursery and the staff really love what they do as a job. You can tell just by the way they greet you and your child. I wouldn't want my son in any other day nursery.

My son has been going to the nursery for ten months. I am happy with the level of care provided. Staff are making sure that children are feeling as comfortable as possible in the premises of the nursery. Staff are helpful and friendly. They are also making sure that children are appropriately dressed according to the weather when going to the garden. They encourage children to get involved with activities. Plenty of toys are also available to spend time with. No issues at all with changing nappies and keeping the little ones clean throughout the day. They don't hesitate to provide nursery clothes if we forget to provide another set of clothes in case of an accident. My son appears to be happy spending time with other children and staff in Plantos.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone :)

My daughter has attended Plantos Nursery since Sept 2014. I've always felt happy and comfortable leaving her. I know that my daughter is well taken care of by all the staff. They are all friendly, bubbly and approachable to both of us. Always giving necessary feedback. My daughter was 9 months old when she started, I was nervous returning to work but couldn't have done it without the help of Plantos taking great care of my daughter. They've helped her become the confident, independent little girl she is. The nursery provide an early opening of 7.45am, which was great for me. They do various activities that make learning fun! They have outdoor facilities and take the children on different trips, which my daughter loves! My daughter has a healthy varied diet at the nursery, which helped her try new/different things! My daughter is nearly three, she enjoys her days at nursery and can't wait to come out and tell us! She has made many friends with both the children and the girls! Thank you for all your help!

My son has been at Plantos Nursery for a year so far and he is very happy there. The staff are so caring and there is a real home-from-home feel to the nursery.

They have plenty of outside space and the children get lots of opportunities to play outdoors.

They do lots of lovely activities including crafts, cooking etc and put on parties for specials occasions like Halloween and Birthdays which my son absolutely loves.

This nursery has been brilliant for my daughter they have let her start off doing mornings and adding an hour each time this has really benefited her when it comes to being around others and other children. Also, they have managed to put her down for a sleep which I believe would be a challenge but they have had no issues at all.

Brilliant nursery my daughter loves it feel very confident leaving her in the care of the staff in the preschool room. They are fantastic would have no reservations in fully recommending this nursery.

The team at Plantos Nursey are fantastic and I am so happy to send my little boy there. He loves the girls who look after him and has so much fun when he is there. The outside space is great and the team always make the most of this. There are always new activities happening and lots of things to keep the children entertained.

I would always recommend them to any parent with children and my daughter will join them again during school holidays, which she is very much looking forward to!
