Plas Gogerddan Nursery

Her confidence in speech and herself is growing by the day we would recommend everyone to use this nursery!

My daughter loved her time in nursery. The staff took excellent care of her and provided a really inspiring learning environment. I felt I could discuss any issues that arose with either room team or management, and they were acted upon very quickly, and I was kept fully informed throughout. The nursery provided support above and beyond the call of duty at certain times and was much appreciated. The friendships that grow between staff and child really give you confidence in the care provided.

Wish they could stay forever.

Our experience of this nursery has been incredibly positive. Children are nurtured and encouraged as individuals, treated with respect, care and as equals. The atmosphere of the nursery is happy and safe and it feels as though the staff are always striving to improve and to deliver the best possible care. The development of the outside spaces has been great and my daughter has really loved this element of the nursery. I have sent both daughter's here and would strongly recommend it to other friends and family.

I can't recommend this nursery enough, fantastic staff, fantastic location and excellent facilities. My daughter loves the outdoors, she loves spending the day at the woods and cooking snacks on the campfire! I often hear about all the bugs in the nature garden and how she has helped to feed the guinea pigs. I will definitely be using the holiday club at the nursery when my daughter starts primary school.

The whole team at the nursery have helped my daughter to settle in very quickly and allowed me to start back at work in the knowledge she's safe and happy.

I have found the level of care outstanding. The staff are attentive and thoughtful and clearly care for each child. Staff are always available to talk over anything.

I have found the quality of provision to be so good that I have chosen to continue sending her there rather than the preschool nursery within the local school that she will eventually be attending.

The level of care and attention the nursery gives to each child individually is exceptional. The daily sheets we receive with all the information about food, sleep, bottles, nappies and activities put my mind at rest and quietens the 'Mum guilt' thoughts.

They contact me immediately with any issues or potential issues and I much prefer it that way. I also absolutely love that they have recently implemented a Welsh language scheme for the staff.

My daughters thoroughly enjoy their days at the nursery; I have total peace of mind knowing that each day they are happy and well cared for in my absence.

The staff are helpful, informative, caring and full of fun. I love knowing my girls get to go on mini adventures to the woods while I am at work! Their confidence has come a long way since starting and has built some lovely friendships.

I wouldn't choose anywhere else for my children. I can't praise Plas Gorgerddan Nursery enough.

My Son loves going to Plas Gogerddan Nursery! The activities that are offered and the level of care and support that staff give to the children is fantastic. Staff are always welcoming and I appreciate that they take the time to discuss his progress and share what he’s been doing in the day. A very friendly environment with a good assortment of toys and the food offered is varied and healthy. A great nursery!

My daughter has been with this nursery for over 2 years and every time she attends, she is really happy and settled and enjoys going on a daily basis.

Since my daughter started, every day she comes home singing songs and telling myself and her daddy different things she has done and always enjoys going the following day to learn more. My daughter has come along way since starting there, her speech has come on amazing and also her capabilities of doing things and that's down to the amazing team that is there.

All the staff are very lovely, always very pleasant and will go beyond to help with anything needed.

This is a completely exceptional nursery. Not only because of the amazing facilities - forest school, lovely outside areas, guinea pigs (!) - but more importantly, because of the staff. The people who work at Plas Gogerddan Nursery Gogerddan Childcare Ltd are wonderful with the children because they take them seriously as people. They are never patronising, but always kind, playful, engaged and encouraging. My daughter loves it here, would recommend to anyone.

My daughter's confidence has grown during her time (6 months) in the nursery. The staff are all lovely and the learning activities are fun and effective. The forest school is excellent. I love it that they spend so much time outdoors, engage with nature and develop skills with activities, fire, cooking, making things etc. They have given us a detailed folder of her time in nursery. My only niggle would be feeding sugary food to the children. I'm sure if I had specified not to they would not have done, but then my daughter would have been singled out.

Plas Gogerddan Nursery Gogerddan Childcare Ltd has been an excellent nursery for all my children. The staff genuinely care about them and it means more than I can express for me to know that they are happy, safe and being cared for while I am at work.

Plas Gogerddan Nursery Gogerddan Childcare Ltd is a truly fabulous setting. My 9-month-old has settled there so well and that is all down to the wonderful staff. The care they provide is second to none and they create a stimulating environment for the children to learn, develop and grow. I am proud to say that my child attends Plas Gogerddan Nursery Gogerddan Childcare Ltd!

My daughter has been in the nursery since she was 6 months old and will be there until she starts school full time this September. The staff are wonderful, caring and fun, I had no qualms leaving my little baby in their care. The facilities are great and the children get to spend a lot of time out and about, the camp in the woods is a highlight. On a practical side, the care offered is flexible and makes life for full time working parents so convenient. I could not recommend this nursery high enough, I get a lump in my throat thinking about my daughter leaving in September!

Excellent nursery. The management, in particular, is very strong; not an incident passes without the manageress being aware of it. The nursery is very welcoming and approachable and it gives me great peace of mind to know that my son is so well looked after while I'm at work. He gets involved in a wide range of activities and there is a large outdoor play area where he can run about. He has not been at nursery for long but has already enjoyed playing in the forest school. At the end of each day, parents receive detailed information about their child's activities, eating and sleeping habits and nappy changes. My son is happy, so I am happy!

I can be quite a hard person to please (as my husband is happy to testify) but I cannot rate Gogerddan childcare highly enough. Our daughter spent three very blessed years there and I don't think I'll ever know how much we owe the staff who have given our daughter such a wholesome. Fun, active, educational and loving start in life. The owner and manager models loving and caring for the children in the most exceptional way and generate a sense of family, acceptance and care throughout her work, whilst somehow always maintaining the fun, she is amazing. The standards are extremely high but without making the place feel sterile and cold. I have loved the time I've spent at this facility and will greatly miss mine and my daughter's interactions with it.

My son has been at Plas Gogerddan for two months by now and he settled so well initially, though as is normal with babies, he is a little bit more clingy by now. That said the staff do settle him quickly if he does become upset as we leave him. Nothing seems to be too much of a bother for the staff as they aim to stick to our routine as much as possible (sleep times etc) which is great for him and for us too. A little disappointed that we have to pay more for a meal, but on the whole, the standard of food given is very good, so it doesn't bother us that we have to pay the additional fee.

The staff at Plas Gogerddan go to enormous effort to develop ways and means of encouraging children's development alongside the current curriculum for doing so. They are creative and inventive, safety minded at all times, resourceful and positive always. I don't think the Managing Director stops for breath sometimes as she relentlessly wants to keep improving the ways we connect with children to develop them. The nursery challenges boundaries in a responsible manner bringing out the best in all.
