The nursery has sensitively helped to keep a constituency in the children's lives in my care and has made sure all risk assessments are in place to keep them safe and keep their lives as normal as possible.

So thank you for working closely with us.

I cannot recommend Mains House Nursery highly enough.
My child has loved his time here and we are sad to see it come to an end.

The use of space and activities my child has undertaken have been fantastic.

My child has attended Mains House Nursery since he was 11 months old. He is now leaving, ready to start school. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank all the nursery staff enough for everything they have done for him throughout his nursery years. Each and every member of staff have played a part in his journey and I could not have wished for a better bunch! Mains House is like a home away from home for a child. Their little personalities are well known by every single member of staff which is a pleasure to see.
The nursery itself has a homely feel with endless activities and resources available. Each day is a new learning opportunity, which is all recorded for parents via an app including photos of their day. Not to mention the rolling menu of food options which is fantastic.

I’ve not once felt worried about leaving my child at nursery, I know he is so well cared for and has made some close little friends. He loves it there. Cannot recommend them enough, they go above and beyond!

I definitely recommend Mains House Nursery, my daughter loved it and all of the teachers are really good with the children and good with parents. The outside space is perfect. My daughter loves going every day to see her friends and teachers.

The Staff are amazing, they are very good with the children, supporting their learning and development but in a fun way that the children really engage with it. The nursery is clean and recently had work to update every room in the building. The space outside is small, however it is packed with activities for the children to do, as well as an outside classroom. They have recently required an allotment, which the children love to go to help and learn about plants and vegetable growth as well as insects.

This is a great, friendly and professional nursery, that is always coming up with new ideas to keep the children entertained and learning through play. Both of my children go there, one for 2 full days per week and the other for breakfast/after school club a couple of times a week. It's so handy being close to the Primary School. Both children really enjoy it and are very fond of the staff, who do a great job and keep you informed and involved in what's happening.

This is a fantastic nursery that have brought my children on with leaps and bounds. My 3 year old is a summer born and spent the majority of his short years in lockdown and welcoming a younger sibling at just 19 months old. He was struggling with his confidence, social anxiety and with his speech. With mummy’s hands tied up with the new baby, pandemic restrictions and daddy working away, we decided to enrol him in nursery where we used to live in Birmingham. After 8 months there wasn’t much improvement and we had decided to relocate to the lovely NE to be with daddy. Well, that meant a new nursery and this has got to be the best part of our move. He has been at Mains House Nursery for 9 months and he is a different child. He is confident, sociable, and can talk for England. He has always been very clever but he struggled with the confidence to show and articulate it. Now he shows off all his knowledge to everyone he meets. His shyness is disappearing but mostly he’s so happy at Mains House!

Our youngest started here at 13 months old. He was very attached to mummy and struggled with separation anxiety but the staff here are like a second family, supporting him through it and within 5 minutes of arriving he was always happy again. He’s now almost 2 and he’s always excited going into nursery, walks straight in and doesn’t even look back to say bye! It’s like he owns the place haha! He loves singing and dancing and always shows off new actions to nursery rhymes he’s learned at nursery. He loves the outdoors so it’s great that they take regular trips to their very own allotment, trips to shops and other businesses and spend a lot of time in the garden. The staff are very affectionate, highly skilled and have everything in place to bring out the best in the children that attend here. The menus have a very 5 Star restaurant vibe and how lucky they are to have a pudding after lunch and dinner. We’re very jealous ha!

My child has learned how to socialise with other people and has become more independent and confident. My child's key worker informs me in detail about things I ask them and advises me on what will be done to help progress my child further. I have no concerns with my child attending here.

Our little girl has been attending Mains House Nursery since she was 11 months old. As a parent, this nursery is amazing, and it really has become a second home for her, which is a huge comfort for us, as working parents. All the staff are really personal and approachable, and truly go above and beyond making sure all our daughter's needs are catered for. Her development has come on leaps and bounds, and the range of activities on offer is brilliant, not to mention the broad range of foods/meals on offer. There is a true family feel with Mains House Nursery and we really wouldn't want to send her anywhere else.

My girls love the nursery, they have helped them so much with social skills. They started last year and really struggled due to being lockdown babies. They are like different children now and have nothing but nice things to say about all the staff. My children have been potty training and the ladies have been doing the same techniques at nursery and we have nearly got out the nappies from the joint effort. Nothing is ever a problem for the nursery and it’s the best one I’ve ever come across. They make sure they catch you every day just to let you know how the day has been and that’s a lovely touch that I appreciate.
