My son has been going there for 3 years and all I can say is that you will not find a better place to put your child the staff are fantastic and you can tell they really enjoyed the work they do they are there for the parents as much as they are for the child. You will not find a better place in the
area for your child and one staff in particular is absolutely fantastic you will not find a better teacher to take care of your child honestly if you are thinking of going all I can say is one and see how happy your child is in this environment they are fantastic every one of them

My son has recently started at the nursery and could not be happier there. The staff and management are all lovely and highly knowledgeable. They have been excellent at encouraging my son's development through messy play and a huge range of activities that the nursery offers. They've also been great
at encouraging my son to eat a wider range of foods. I can already see the positive influence the nursery is having on his development and well-being. He literally runs in there on a morning, he's so excited to see what the day brings! Highly recommended.

My son attends this nursery and I couldn't recommend it enough. Since my 5 year old started here 5 years ago, I have never once had a single issue. Throughout, the care has been outstanding. It recently was closed, but has reopened again with brand new staff and management. It's amazingly clean and
tidy and with so much to offer for the children. Food always smells delicious also. My son has been back there for just over 2 weeks now, and he absolutely loves going. He asks to go on the days he doesn't go, and that for me speaks volumes. He has bonded brilliantly with all the staff. The facilities are amazing, they do a massive range of activities and have a child focused care, which is what is needed. It's situated in the heart of Consett, surrounded by 4 schools for older siblings. All the staff are fantastic professionals with a lot of years' experience in childcare and they know their stuff. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and my son loves them already, which is what you need.

Such a lovely nursery who go out of their way for the children to make it a special place. My son has enjoyed coming here every day for 2 and half years and has made many special friendships and has been looked after amazingly, especially during the pandemic. My child also had allergies that were catered
to above and beyond making sure he never felt left out and always had something special for occasions like Christmas and birthdays. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

My child has been attending the nursery for 3 years now heading off to reception and I can’t fault them they brought on her speaking, communication, manners, potty training and many more she’s now one happy 4-year-old and I’m grateful the nursery were a part of that journey the staff are remarkable
friendly and they listen to any concerns and act accordingly. I could see from how excited my little girl was to get to nursery and see her friends and spoke highly of them. I would recommend this nursery 10 times over. I can’t thank the staff enough for what they’ve done for my daughter. They have a Facebook page for parents and they are constantly updating us on that. I find that very helpful and it keeps us posted about our children or any activities happening as I lose letters and with 2 children, things can easily be forgotten. I could go on with positive reviews. I’ll leave it at this. Thank you to the nursery.

Lovely nursery - all staff are very welcoming and do an amazing job of looking after my son.
Whenever we collect him, the staff tell us everything he has been up to or what he has/hasn't eaten.
It is obvious they have formed a special relationship with him as he is very keen to go to nursery say
hi, and really interacts with the staff.
I feel content at work knowing he is in a safe place - all staff are caring and look after him well to make sure that he is happy and settled.
He has only been going to nursery since April! Which makes this nursery amazing as they have built up a special bond with him already!

Since coming to the nursery and getting her a place here, the nursery staff have been fantastic. I was a little worried about the start she had in life and didn’t like being separated from me, but the staff were very reassuring and looked after her. Since starting last Easter, she has really come out

My daughter has been at The Nursery for a little over a year now and has settled in fantastically due only to the amazing staff! She has additional medical needs with her bowels, and I could not thank the staff enough for fully getting on board and helping us through a massively difficult time in my
daughter's life. They have put things in place at nursery to support her with those needs, and her issues have reduced majorly.
The Nursery staff are all friendly and approachable and are lovely to chat with on a night. My daughter comes home with cards and pictures every day, full of chat about activities both outside and in, she has improved in her social skills massively since joining. She eats well there also and has improved on her table manners.
I recommend The Nursery Consett to anyone who asks me my opinion on local nurseries as it has been a Godsend for us.

Absolutely lovely staff who have the children’s best interest at heart! Both my children attend this nursery, one full time and one wrap-around care, and they really enjoy it as there is always lots to do, and the staff go out the way to ensure activities are available. Plenty of support for parents,
especially during the pandemic to assist with childcare.

My daughter started this day nursery in January, and she has come on so much with her speech and language and engaging in other activities with other children. Both of my children have attended the nursery since 9-months-old. The staff have always gone above and beyond, and my boys have loved every minute at the nursery. The girls have implemented ideas that have helped them both overcome their own struggles and helped to progress. Their parent communication

The staff are super friendly, and he settled in straight away! He also has additional needs, which were met before he even started and plans put into place for him. Within 2 weeks of him being there, he was awarded his one to one, which was amazing! I can’t thank the girls at the nursery enough for

Both my granddaughters have gone to the nursery (youngest still there till July). I have to say, the staff are absolutely amazing, extremely professional, nothing has ever been too much trouble to them, even in the most testing times in what's been an awful year, the staff always greet you and the children
with a smile. They have gone above and beyond to make the nursery a safe enjoyable environment for all children. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, and the start they have given my granddaughters - thank you, girls. This is an excellent nursery, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

The staff of The Nursery went above and beyond what was expected of them to make Easter extra special for our children. The children baked cakes, made crispy cakes, made Easter cards and baskets. There were decorated egg and Easter bonnet competitions and loads of activities in class.
