Was extremely nervous about my son starting nursery as he's a Velcro child, but right from the outset he was happy and seemed settled after a few adjustments to days to suit my son to which they were very accommodating and understanding of sons needs, I would highly recommend these guys, they keep you
updated with everything and any issues they are straight on the phone to you

My little boy has been attending from 9 month old he's has absolutely thrived been in nursery he's achieved every mile stone staff and management are so supportive of children and parents
My little one had allergies which pixley dell where able to cater for and make sure my little one was a wide variety
of food while there
When he started nursery I was very anxious about him starting so little due to .myself returning to work after a few weeks of my little one settled in no problem now goes in not a care in the world dosent look back

My daughter has been attending Pixley Dell for over 7 months now. I am really happy with the nursery. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is healthy and varied and has improved her eating a lot. She gets to do lots of great activities which she enjoys so much and really help her development.
She loves the staff and walks in smiling to see them. Most importantly, my daughter loves going; she walks in with a big smile on her face the day she attends and comes back so happy. It helps me to know she is in safe hands and so happy there.

My son is coming to the end of his time at Pixley Dell due to to going to school and he has absolutely loved it. He's been going since he was 14 months and after initially being quite upset about being left there he was always reassured by one of the team and settled down, now he walks in and loves
every day without looking back. All the staff are so lovely. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

Both my children have attended Pixley Dell ranging from 2019 to present. We've always had positive experiences. My eldest child unexpectedly faced potentially life altering medical diagnosis and the team were great at supporting us as a family and we're amazing at phasing my son back into nursery life
once he was well enough. My youngest currently attends and is thriving and thoroughly enjoys his time. Pixley Dell is a little family community and would recommend to everyone.

My son has had the best experience at Pixley Dell. He started just after lockdown, in the hope of socialising him, after spending most of his life with just Daddy and I. He settled in really well and is such an outgoing child now. All staff, from the baby room right through to the Early Years room are
amazing and care so much for our little ones. They develop really close relationships which is lovely to see. My son has learned so much and is more than ready for reception now. Every time we have been to an event at the nursery, everyone has been so kind and welcoming; there's such a nice relaxing atmosphere. When we had our 2nd son, there were no doubts where he would be going.

A fantastic nursery. My little boy has been going for around a year and a half. From being so nervous at first, he has come on so much and now so confident walking in. He absolutely loves going and taking part in all of the different activities. The staff are fantastic. Very approachable and flexible
to changing circumstances. Very friendly and supportive team which has really helped my little boy to settle and flourish.

My son who is now four and daughter who is one have both attended this nursery from around eight months old. Pixley Dell Day Nursery is a great nursery, I would really recommend it. My son and daughter really have come on so well in this environment, the staff are so helpful and nurturing, we get updated
via the online app on a regular basis. My son and daughter really enjoy their time at nursery and have developed good bonds with both staff and other children, there are always a range of activities for them to do both inside and outside. They have early drop off breakfast club and also later pick up with has been really helpful for our family. Pixley Dell Day Nursery has helped my son develop confident skills to now attend school in September, he has been working on numbers, shapes and has developed really well in the preschool room as a result of the support from staff. Communication with nursery has always been very good both via email and telephone and they are always on hand to offer support and advice.

My son started when he was eleven months old, he is now four years old. Everyone in the nursery is excellent and is always really helpful and my son loves going. I know he is safe and happy every day he is there and he loves all the staff. They have always been flexible when we have needed to change
days. The nursery is clean and tidy. The outside space is small but full of fun activities.

Brilliant nursery and can’t fault them for one thing at all. My daughter absolutely loves it here, she started after Christmas. I can’t believe how much she’s came on since starting Pixley Dell Day Nursery. Her talking is amazing, she could hardly say five words before joining and now I can have conversations
with her. She’s such a happy little girl and I’ve noticed her behaviour has massively changed since joining. She was such a shy little girl, wouldn’t go to anybody else or play with other children. It’s amazing hearing nothing but good things when she finishes the day, of how well she’s doing and she’s always happy when I collect her and that’s enough as a parent to tell me she absolutely loves coming here. The girls and one male member of staff are amazing with all the kids and it’s so nice to see how happy my daughter is with them.

I now have three children attending this nursery, my eldest has been attending for just over one year now and his sister's have recently started. It is a cosy little setting, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about my children's welfare, happiness and needs.

My daughter has attended since just before her 2nd birthday and the progress she has made is incredible.
The staff are amazing. Very encouraging and supportive of all the children in their care.
The activities on offer are great, including signing tots and cooking.
The meals and snacks available
have variety and are healthy and filling.
Excellent communication from the staff through the app. Great seeing photos of my daughter learning and playing.
Very good value for money.

My son started here in September, although he used to get upset when I was time for me to leave the girls have helped him fit in well. He now goes into without a problem, he's come on loads. The different things he's learning at the nursery you can see the difference in him, they also have an app you
get photos of your child sent to so you can know what they doing day in day out and the nursery! A brilliant nursery, would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic nursery and group of happy girls who look after my son. I was very nervous about putting my son in nursery after a bad experience at the one I had chosen first. But I had nothing to worry about from the first settling in session, my son, at 9 months old, was happy and smiling. The girls
were interacting with him. He comes home happy every day and worn out and sleeps all night which is an added bonus! He is learning new stuff every day, loves the sign language classes, trying new foods and mixing with other kids. I get regular updates and pictures at work from the Pixley app which I love brightens my working day seeing his little face. I would recommend the nursery to everyone.

My daughter has started here at seven months old and in the time she has been here, she has shown great confidence. The nursery staff are what makes this nursery, they are extremely friendly and very helpful to me when I collect my daughter, ensuring I pick everything up.


I love the fact that this

nursery use tapestry, so when I'm sat at work or home I get notifications on my email to show me the fun things she's been doing and learning.

This is a lovely, cosy nursery. Both of my children have enjoyed it and my second child is enjoying their time at Pixley Dell. The management and staff cannot do much more to make the child and parent happy. As a parent, I feel very confident leaving my child in the care of such wonderful people. Everyone
has a great positive attitude, and they have fantastic skills. My children have learned a lot and it gave/gives them a great start into their lives.

My child has just left here to start school in September and has been here since they were 15 months old. I cannot recommend the setting enough. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always put the children first. I would highly recommend to anybody wanting a nursery in the Spennymoor area.
