Jack and Jill Nursery Ltd

Cannot fault Jack and Jill’s nursery. They are a huge, positive part of my daughter's life. Amazing environment, lovely staff, fab resources and a real sense of ‘family’ as soon as you walk through the door. I do not trust anyone more than I trust these guys - and the bonus is my daughter absolutely loves it! Deserves huge recognition.

Big thanks to everyone who makes this place such an amazing place, wouldn't leave my baby with anyone else.

A wonderful nursery setting with caring staff and a lovely setting.

I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter receives from Jack and Jill Nursery. When I leave I know she is going to be well cared for and is going to have fun with her carers and friends. I am sure they have had a big impact with her development and I am always kept up to date with what she is up to. The staff at Jack and Jill Nursery are brilliant. They are always happy to answer my barrage of questions and my daughter seems very relaxed and happy around them all. Home cooked food is brilliant too.

Absolutely love the girls in the nursery, they are providing a brilliant environment for our little girl to attend. She is always happy to go to nursery and seems very content when we pick her up.

My little girl started here a few months ago and although it has taken her a while to settle in as she only attends a couple of times a week, the staff here have been so kind and patient with her giving her lots of cuddles. It really has paid off as she has built such a good relationship with them. The areas are always kept clean and activities varied, my little girl loves playing in the outdoor space which they do regularly! Her progress and development is reviewed frequently. All staff are friendly and professional, they are a credit to the nursery.

I just want to mention that recently I found out my little boy is allergic to quite a lot of foods. The staff and the manager couldn’t have been better adapting to this, they’ve really worked with me and my partner to find alternatives, even though it’s quite a wide range of foods he can’t eat! Well done to them.

Can not thank the staff and management enough for making my daughter so welcome. She runs to the door in a morning to get in! My daughter has come on in so many ways and I believe the nursery had a lot to do with this. Can not fault the place. Highly recommended Jack and Jill Nursery.

She is happy and is becoming more sociable with the other babies and toddlers in her room. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly and because it is a family run nursery there is a relaxed, homely atmosphere which helps the children to settle in quickly and puts them at ease.

This nursery is brilliant, fabulous friendly staff. They help you in many ways with advice etc... My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting here. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone's child.

I have received a development review on how my child is progressing and goals that they are helping her to work towards with advice on how we can be supporting her at home which I have been able to put into practice.

She previously attended a different nursery where she was miserable however she has had a totally different and positive experience at Jack and Jill's and really enjoys her time there. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others as they provide an excellent service.

We get regular updates on her development and every evening when we pick her up we get a break down of what she has done that day.

Our daughter has been attending the setting since she was 6 months old.

We could not be more pleased with how she has settled in and how much she has developed in that time.

The staff are extremely welcoming and always happy to answer any questions.

It doesn’t feel like I am leaving her in a nursery setting, more like dropping her off with friends.

Leaving her in such a friendly, homely setting really took away one of the major stresses of returning to work.

All the staff and manager are always friendly and helpful, lately, the manager has been giving excellent advice regarding an issue with my grandson. The interaction between staff and children is amazing. My grandson is bursting with confidence due to the staff's patience I feel that staff continuity is important for all children and my grandson benefits from this at Jack and Jill Nursery. All the staff are very caring and warm towards the children. Educational needs are all in place and are delivered in a fun way. A welcoming and happy environment.

The nursery seems clean and the children never look unkempt.

It is a huge decision as a first-time parent choosing a nursery. I am so happy that my friend recommended Jack and Jill Nursery for our son. He has been attending since he was 13 months and has progressed so much socially. I have no hesitation in recommending Jack and Jill Nursery. My son loves all the home cooked meals and healthy snacks and I love the fact that due to its size, it is a real home from home and he knows all the staff really well. He also loves the range of different activities and has settled in really quickly, so much so he even said his first words there.

My daughter has loved coming to Jack and Jill every day. She always has lots to tell in the evening and always seems excited. They spend plenty of time outside and always make sure the children are appropriately dressed (hat, wellies...) As a parent, I love the advice that is given to us regarding her development. The tripod grip has worked wonders with her mark making and all the support you give us during potty training is very much appreciated. The file you keep with the advice for parents if very useful. Thank you for everything.

I am extremely impressed with the service provided by Jack and Jill Nursery in Carlisle. My little girl settled in really quickly and loves attending. The staff are genuinely enthused at dealing with the little ones and the spark that they all have has a positive effect on the children.

Both of my daughters went to Jack and Jill for a combined total of 9 years and we cannot praise them enough, our girls loved every minute and their self-confidence grew no end. The management and staff are excellent and the setting provides lots of fun for the kids both inside and in the newly refurbished outdoor area. Thank you Jack and Jill Nursery.
