Great Expectations Day Nursery

My little girl has been coming to Great Expectations since she was nine months old. I was always wary to send her but the staff have been amazing with her and she settled in much better than I thought. She’s always excited to go and always smiley when she goes and I pick her up. The staff are amazing with her. She absolutely loves it here.

After a trip to the farm, my little girl didn't stop talking about her day. I was also in attendance as many mums and dads were offered to enjoy the day with their child. The staff did such an amazing job with organizational skills of so many small children and the day was amazing for parents and children, can't wait for the next trip.

Great Expectations is an absolutely brilliant nursery, all the staff are amazing with the children. I am extremely great full for all the help and support they have given my son and me over the time he has been there, whilst trying to get my son the extra help he needs to start school in the areas where he struggles and needs extra support. I will definetly be signing my youngest up to Great Expectations when he’s a little bit older.

Couldn't ask for a better group of people to support my little boy in the times I can't be with him due to work. He loves going and they've always gone above and beyond to help him with anything needed. Its been a tough year for everyone but the fact that the staff are always trying to go one step further to help has really made it a little less chaotic.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 9 months, he was my 1st baby and I struggled so much leaving him when I went back to work. The staff at the nursery were amazing with us both, I could ring 100 times a day and they would sound happy to hear my voice every phone call as if it was the first time I rang. My son runs in on a morning half the time and doesn't even say goodbye, the staff are amazing with him and he is now 2 and a half. I’m looking forward to sending my new baby when the time is right for me because I know he will love it as much as his big brother.

My two daughters go to this nursery and have been going for over a year since I started university. The nursery go above and beyond for both my children and I know they will for my third child who has just been born when she starts. The staff always make sure my girls are cared for and have helped a lot in regards to my oldest daughter being delayed in speech, helping us go down the right routes to improve this and find out if there are any underlying issues. For this I am grateful. They also take the parents' emotions into consideration, especially the manager, she has helped me drastically through the past year and I couldn’t thank her enough for everything she has done for me and my family. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone interested in starting their children as they are very accommodating to your needs and just all-round amazing.

Being a first time mum and going into university with no local support finding a nursery that both my child and myself felt comfortable in was essential. We started coming to great expectations in September of 2019 and instantly felt like part of the wider family. My child looks forward to going to nursery every day and I have to drag him out on a night! Every single staff member made us feel like family and I have every confidence in the way they nurture and protect my child. He’s learnt so much here from nursery rhymes, sign language and it slows him to have social interactions with children his age, younger and older. I dread the day I have to take him out!

Excellent all round All my three children have attended since being 6 months old with my youngest (almost three) still there. Staff have been brilliant, always so loving, caring and great. I work full time so I need to know the kids are okay and the nursery always gave me peace of mind. My kids still attend in the holidays too, they love it. Staff are so caring and genuinely want kids to develop and excel. Would highly recommend to all.

All 3 of my children have attended/are attending this nursery. I cannot express enough how much they all enjoyed going into nursery every day. It is an amazing place and all the staff are so welcoming. My youngest has been going for the last 2 years and she loves every single staff member there. She runs in every day and is always very reluctant to leave when we collect her. You couldn't ask for a better place than this for your children.

Great Expectations is an exceptional childcare provider, I could not ask for a more accomodating and friendly service. All of the staff are lovely, warm and kind and the manager is especially wonderful. My son adores going to nursery and always comes back with a smile on his face and stories to tell about his day.

All of the staff are very friendly and the manager and deputy manager will do anything for you if it's possible for them to do so. My daughter is settling in well and her key worker does everything she can to help settle my daughter and to help her develop.

I would highly recommend this nursery as I know what to look for in a nursery as I am also a nursery nurse and I am very fussy about where my children go.
