Sunshine Day Nursery

My granddaughter has been coming here since she was 10 months old, she is now nearly 5. She had thrived at Sunshine, the manager and the team go above and beyond to ensure all the children have a safe environment alongside evidence-based education. My granddaughter has come on leaps and bounds and her social skills are amazing. Cannot fault Sunshine.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for the last three years and I honestly couldn't recommend it more. She has been through every stage from babies to preschool and she has loved every stage. The staff are incredible and put the children's happiness and safety at the heart of everything they do.

My son has been in three nurseries including this one and he is coming up to 3 years old. This is hands down the best nursery in the area (and we viewed them all). My mum used to inspect nurseries and so her opinion is also something that I took into account. She and I both agree that this nursery is absolutely outstanding and we hope they achieve the deserved outstanding rating at their next OFSTED inspection. The manager is incredible, he is very hands on with the children and he knows all the children's names which is lovely. Whenever I have needed advice both the manager and the team have supported us 100%. My son is incredibly happy here and generally looks forward to going in. His learning and development has come on leaps and bounds since he started here. The staff turnover is incredibly low, many staff having worked there for decades, it's like a little family. They cuddle the children and soothe them whenever they are feeling a bit sensitive, and I like how they manage behaviour.

Great nursery and all the staff are lovely. They all love their job and are great with all the children. My son has come on loads here and he loves attending. I always feel happy to know that I'm leaving him somewhere and I don't have to worry. I will also get updates throughout the day from the new family page so I can see what he's doing each day, knowing he's getting all his meals. Lunch is home cooked and there is always a verity of food and everyone is always helpful. All in all a great family run business. I would recommend to anyone and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

Sunshine Nursery is fantastic with my son. He loves attending and I feel, him going there has really helped with his development. The staff are all lovely and I have never had any problems with the nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

My children love Sunshine Day Nursery. They feel happy and safe there, they undertake a range of activities and are supported and looked after well. They have developed relationships with the staff who run the after school club and really enjoy their time at Sunshine Day Nursery.

As I parent I trust the staff implicitly, I have no doubts or concerns about the safety of my children or the standard of provision.

Both my children go to Sunshine Day Nursery and have done since they were 9 months old. I would highly recommend this Nursery to anyone and everyone!! The contact between management and parents is great, they're always available if needed. The practitioners and management are amazing with my boys, they play a big role in their lives. It's also set at an average cost and overall been excellent all round!

My daughter has been to Sunshine Day Nursery since she was 5 months old and is now 10 years old. She has always enjoyed her time at the setting and the staff have always been helpful, supportive and flexible.

My two children attend age 2.5 and 10. The eldest has been coming since she was 3 and the youngest since she was 6 months. They were fully supportive of breast feeding on my return to work which really helped me to continue. Yes, the place is clean, well equipped and they do all the usual activities including messy play, outside time, stories and singing. But for me it's things like the staff seem to stay (some for the last 7 years), they show great emotional warmth to my children, have the skills to quickly change a tantrummy toddler refusing to let go of mum to one that's smiling and too busy to care that I'm leaving. They are full of reassurances that she's happy once I've left and encourage calls to check if you are at all worried. They have never made me feel like a silly parent for doing this.

For us it's like having extended family that want the best for our kids, it's a wonderful environment that's very free flowing.

There are great facilities for all ages for children! I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

I would recommend this nursery to anyone. Watching my children happily grow with confidence has given me such ease, as a parent we all know hard it is trusting others our children, but I can honestly say I trust each and every member of staff.

They also have a 2build a profile scheme which is amazing for parents to look at their child's children's progress.

Can't recommend enough.
