Kids Planet Monkseaton

We will be sad to say goodbye to the nursery as my child moves to a school nursery setting.

My son has been attending Kids Planet, Monkseaton since he was about 14 months and we have always found it a safe, supportive and fun environment. Now he is turning two and in the Toddler room, access to the garden and outside spaces has provided an excellent outlet for all of his energy, the messy play and other activities provide him with lots of fun opportunities for learning. Thank you so much Kids Planet Team.

My daughter is very happy at the nursery and enjoys her days here. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They keep the daily log on the app, which is lovely to see as a parent, so I know what she has been up to. They know her well, and it's comforting to know that when she is there, she is in good hands. She talks about the staff at home all the time! I'd happily recommend this nursery to other parents, and I will be truly sad when my child is eventually too old to attend!

Our daughter has been with the nursery in the baby room since January and had a really positive experience . She loves being in nursery , excitedly kicks her legs in her pram as we approach and giggles . She often has to be carried away literally kicking and screaming as she wants to stay so much . On weekends we now have to take detours so she won't be upset she's not in nursery . Loves the food , we appreciate the regular updates , photos and useful feedback . Everyone is so welcoming and friendly at what can be a nervewracking time for parents and we look forward to the next few years of her developing in nursery . She often makes signs related to nursery rhymes which have been sung or animal noises she has picked up in learning and there are great outdoor facilities

Much love and care towards them and they've enjoyed it a lot. The staff are amazing and do everything they can to give them the best experience x

Fantastic nursery with caring, friendly staff who genuinely support every child's development. The communication is great, the activities are engaging, and it's reassuring knowing our toddler is happy and excited to go every week.

My daughter is going to Kids Planet Monkseaton full time since August 2025. We had nothing but good experiences with the nursery. Staff is caring and respectful, they all make effort to get to know the kids and fit their care around the kids' personal needs. My daughter loves going, enjoys all the activities and loves the staff. She made friends with both staff and kids, and mentions them regularly at home and during the weekends. Would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been going to Kids Planet since October when he was 10 months old and he absolutely loves it! The staff are all lovely and supportive and he's developed so much in the time he's been there. I would highly recommend the nursery! The nursery app is great for knowing what he's been up to during the day too.

My son has attended Kids Planet Monkseaton since he was 9 months old (he is now 15 months). It has been a fantastic experience all round. They had a clear plan to help him settle in and I felt like the staff really listened to routines etc we had at home and tried to replicate these. Staff are absolutely brilliant, so friendly and knowledgeable and my son beams whenever he sees them each morning. My son has needed a little more support with crawling / standing and the staff have been brilliant with this, following some guidance we got from Physiotherapy but also being really proactive in encouraging him and adapting activities as needed. Overall fantastic nursery and would highly recommend.

My kids have been going to kids planet for the last 6 yrs or so. They have both had a fantastic experience! They always love going to nursery - the staff are so friendly, supportive and attentive. I would recommend this childcare provider to everyone. Thank you so much for all you do for our Kids

My daughter has been attending Kids Planet since she was 6 months old and she absolutely loves it there, to the point she doesn't want to leave! They have excellent facilities, she loves the food, the activities, and the staff who are all incredible. She's come on so much in her development since she's been there and while she's got plenty of time left I know she's going to be incredibly sad when she leaves. Overall, I could not recommend more.

My twins have been with Kids Planet for a year now and the nursery have been nothing but amazing. They have been wonderful supporting their development together and as individuals and have come on so much.

I always feel included in their day through the app and updates from their key workers and all communication has been excellent.

They are very good with updating us constantly about her progress. She knows all the staff now and they know her. It feels like family. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

My daughter loves it and son is due to start there shortly. She enjoys it and always seems to be busy with fun activities e.g crafts/painting. Plenty of outdoor time in their lovely garden and enjoys the food, sometimes even asking for extra! She's made great friends with the other children and seems to have a good relationship with staff. Thank you for all that you do !

Our child gets so much out of the nursery and loves going in, loves the staff and attending gives them so much variety in their week.

My little boy started here around 11 months old and left in August 2025 aged 4 to start reception. He loved his time at kids planet and was sad to leave. We are pleased that we chose this nursery and found that the staff were really nurturing and supportive as well as having good facilities to encourage development and play. Particular mention to Georgia and Matt who were great with my little boy when he was in pre-school for his last year. Would definitely recommend kids planet.

My daughter started attending kids planet when she was 9 months old, I put her there as it was highly recommended by one of my friends.

Within a month of her attending she would be so excited to go in and play even crying to go in when we walked past on weekends.

They even helped us getting her away from dummys too.

We were sad to see her leave nursery to move to school but I cannot thank the staff enough for what they have done.

My child has attended Kids Planet nursery since she was 10 months old - and she is now in pre-school. The nursery has a good balance of outdoor play space, and a safe stimulating indoor space as well. The team take them on visits - such as the Hancock museum - which she loves! The meals are varied - and we have always been updated at how she has done with her food. She has been supported throughout toilet training - and she seemed to managed to crack it very quickly with the teams help! Overall, she has had a wonderful journey throughout her time at nursery - as all the staff have been warm, caring and nuturing. They have encouraged her all the way and have given her engaging activities to help her become the confident, clever, curious little girl that she is today. She is excited for 'big school' (which is in part from all the work the team have done in preparing her for it) - but I know she will be sad to leave her nursery family behind.
