Culverdene Day Nursery

best place I could ever think of to send my children, where I felt confident and safe. Thank you Culverden my son will certainly miss you all.

photographed updates on what your child has been doing that day is a lovely touch. My daughter's confidence and skills developed so much and I will honestly be sad to see her leave and go to school but I feel that attending here has made her more than ready.

worker, who helped him learn to talk! The nursery is always really helpful and responds very quickly to any requests, the manager is great and she knows all the children really well. Regular Tapestry app updates have been really reassuring, especially in those nervous early days when we would be wondering how he was getting on and, more recently, to see how he is developing as we countdown to school next year. We have always felt he is safe and well cared for, and they have dealt with the challenge of Covid brilliantly. The food is really good and healthy, our son is much less fussy there than at home! We really love Culverdene and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

We were very concerned about her speaking and the nursery reassured me and worked hard on developing this particular aspect of my child’s development. My daughter is always so excited and happy to go into nursery each day and has made lots of friends. She does lovely activities that are fun and exciting, often bringing home the things she makes, and seeing lots of wonderful photos on the online journal - Tapestry. I love this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone!

They work really hard to settle your child in and take note of any interests they are expressing and encourage play and learning through these. More recently, in the run-up to our son becoming a big brother the nursery staff played a key role in helping prepare him for what life with a baby may be like. He's grown in his confidence whilst at nursery and we are loving the social interaction he is able to enjoy as he attends. I would highly recommend Culverdene and we look forward to sending our daughter there in time.

We were pleased to know that the tenure of some of their staff reaches into a decade and the children usually stayed until they went into reception. Our son has been at Culverdene for 2 years now and our family absolutely love the staff. Our son's vocabulary has increased immensely, he's learned to use the toilet independently, his manners are reinforced, and his imagination and curiosity are allowed to be free in creative settings - all thanks to Culverdene. Our family can't recommend them enough.

The management team are excellent and very professional. The communication is great and we always feel we are kept well informed. We have recommended the nursery to friends and family and will continue to do so.

sociable. They have been very supportive throughout the last 2 years particularly as I have been through 2 more pregnancies and always ask if I need help getting the kids to the car. My children love being at this nursery and as you can see from their Facebook they do such a huge variety of tasks which they are always excited to tell me about. In particular, my kids won't stop talking about a key person in the baby room and run to her every morning for a cuddle! Turnover of staff is low, hours are good if you are a medic! And they have a good staff age range. I really feel so comfortable dropping my children off every day and knowing that they have a great time and are really well looked after.
