The Cedars Nursery - Newcastle

The Cedars Nursery has been an exceptionally nurturing environment where my child has flourished, gained confidence, and built some wonderful friendships. It is so nice as a parent to see them going into nursery happy. It seems to be an outstanding facility with a genuinely caring atmosphere. Thanks to all the team.

The team at The Cedars have done such a wonderful job this year. We feel they have provided such a safe and caring environment for all the kids during the pandemic and they really go the extra mile. My daughter loves attending and has really bonded with the team members, thanks for all that you do. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I couldn’t recommend Cedars and their wonderful team more. They are creative, so caring and go above and beyond not just for my little girl but for the whole family. I was anxious about my little one going to nursery, but the care and attention she receives are exceptional, and I know she’s in the very best hands. My little girl is sensitive and sometimes needs a gentle approach and maybe even more time, Cedars are only too happy to invest in every child as an individual. Love them.

My little girl has grown apparently since entering nursery this September. The staff are kind and experienced in handling different situations. It emphasizes activities and outdoor exposure whatever the weather, which is a precious experience for little children and good for their health. I will definitely recommend this nursery to others.

All 4 of my children attended The Cedars. We never had a problem. Awesome and very nice staff. Highly recommend.

I especially like how they clean the children's teeth and this continues the good habit at home.

Cedars does a great job when children are at their most impressionable.

Playtimes are fun, food is varied and prepared on site and the outdoor spaces allow for plenty of running around and exploration.

Staff are very warm, welcoming and professional. When asked about nursery I always recommend that I have used this nursery for both of my daughters, making it 6 years in total.

The Cedars did a fantastic job of helping my daughter settle into nursery at just 9 months old. I was so worried about going back to work but knowing she was happy and well looked after at Cedars made it much easier. Now at 16 months, my little girl loves nursery. She's very comfortable there and I know she has lots of fun. The staff are really friendly and helpful and their outsourcing provision is amazing!

My son loves the place and the staff. He enjoys his time and learns a lot every day. They have nice activities and big garden.

My son has attended Cedar's since 2015. From the beginning, I have always felt he is in a safe and secure environment. As he has developed, I can see the positive difference having him in Cedar's has brought. He is a very well mannered child, always happy to see all the staff, though he certainly has favourites. He has made friends and is happiest playing outside in the huge garden. The work done at nursery from arts and crafts, reading books, creative play to outdoor play is great. It will be a sad day when he leaves for school.

My sons have been coming to The Cedars Nursery since January 2018 and he absolutely loves attending. He’s come on leaps and bounds since starting and he adores his key workers and staff, they always make me feel welcome and I wouldn’t take my son anywhere else. I love how they teach my son and also that they have the children outside as much as they can. The nursery is always clean and the menu sounds lovely and healthy. I feel my son is safe and well looked after when I leave him.

My daughter has attended The Cedars Nursery since July 2014. The girls have been fantastic and she loves going to see her friends. The range of activities are great and I could not recommend a more professional, kind and caring group of people to come for her.
