Jigsaws is set in the quiet location of Church Fenton. During the day they have three distinct rooms - Crawlers, Explorers and Discoverers, which are all excellently resourced with age-appropriate equipment. A safe, secure outside area provides lots of exciting play with managed risk, as children are encouraged to climb, balance and explore.

An Adventurers Club offers before and after school care to children attending school or Holiday Club. This space is created for children from year 4 to year 6 and is full of age-appropriate equipment.

Excellent, caring staff. Fantastic key worker who helped my daughter settle in well. Helpful management team. Happy with my choice of nursery. I really hope they can obtain the funding required for the new build, to accommodate our ever-growing village population. Asset to the village.

My daughter has been at Jigsaws since March 2023 and has hit every milestone she needs to because of the staff. Every morning she runs into the building with the big smile and is so excited to tell me about her day at pick up. Happy child, Happy parent!


In regards to staff members with parents, I

can't fault it. Every staff member I have spoken to has been so professional and very informative. They update me everyday through the app on what my daughter has done, eaten, any milestones hit and it allows me to upload milestones/activities she achieves at home. They also ring me if my daughter has had any of bumps to the head, no matter how minor- staff are very strict on this which gives me a lot of peace of mind. At pick up they are very informative on how my daughters day has been, whats shes been up to, if shes had a sleep and any concerns. Jigsaws will be the first choice for any future children I may have. 5 stars! Highly recommend.

Our son has thrived at jigsaws. Their early years educators have provided a welcoming, homely and safe environment for him since he was 22 months (now nearly 4) - our son really struggles with environments outside of the home so the fact that he can be happy in their setting speaks volumes of the care
they provide for the children there. They have assisted and supported us through the early stages of understanding our sons additional needs to now being nearly 2 years into an autism assessment process.


As well as supporting him and providing extra care for his additional needs, they have supported us in finding extra pots of funding for his education, element 2 funding, DLA, liaising with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists and helping to kickstart the EHCP process, ensuring we will have something in place before he is ready to start school.
I cannot sing Jigsaws praises enough, all the staff really go above and beyond!

Our daughter is so happy at Jigsaws Childcare Ltd. She's excited to go on a morning and runs in without a second thought. The play is really stimulating and fun, she is learning all the time. The staff are very nurturing and she makes it clear she really likes them.
It's the best thing as a parent

My daughter has been attending Jigsaws Childcare Ltd since she was 10 months old and the staff have just been amazing - they’re all thoughtful caring and very knowledgeable. They always have great activities planned for the kids, there’s loads of outdoor space for them to play in and they have been
great in terms of adapting to her changing needs from a 10-month-old baby to now a walking little tot. Can’t recommend enough.

I have 3 children at Jigsaws, my daughter has attended since 2014 and my sons for the past year or so. This is a fantastic setting for my children, it’s such a close-knit nursery and I always feel like they know my children so well. They genuinely care for the well-being and development of my children
and their learning, social skills and independence have come on leaps and bounds under their care. My daughter is now in reception and she was so well prepared for this thanks to the phonics learning they completed in the Discoverers room. The ‘family-like’ feel means they are confident, happy to be there and I feel secure knowing they are well looked after.

Our daughter, now four, has attended Jigsaws since she was eight months old.
Each room is geared for the children’s needs as they grow and learn.
Our daughter is currently enjoying forest schools with the nursery and is always full of enthusiasm about her time spent at Jigsaws with her friends and
staff.
Our youngest daughter will soon be joining Jigsaws in the baby room.

My son has been attending breakfast club and after school club since September 2018. He thoroughly enjoys both sessions and is always excited to be attending.
The nursery staff are always friendly and accommodating and work well with the school next door for collection and drop off. The nursery is
well equipped, clean and organised. The outside area is lovely, with lots of different things for the children to play with, including a sandpit and mud garden.
A wide variety of breakfast products are offered along with snacks for after school club.
My son loves his allocated nursery worker and always has such lovely things to say about her.
A variety of activities are offered in the school holidays which are always helpful. My son particularly loves the forest school during the school holidays and always comes back with a craft that he’s completed.
Overall we would recommend the nursery to anyone looking for child care in Church Fenton.

Smashing, friendly nursery. All my children have gone here from birth to starting school and enjoy it very much. It's proximity to the school is very handy for pick up and drop off. The staff are always friendly and it's a very informal, child-led learning environment. The contracts are varied to suit
all needs and the management are very accommodating with last minute requests. Very happy with the service and would happily recommend.

My two children have been attending Jigsaws for over three years. They both started three full days a week and now attend after school at their after-school club and the youngest also attends afternoons after Preschool. We have experienced the same excellent standard throughout all the age groups and
different staff members.
The children love the laid back environment and that they have the choice to be involved in numerous educational activities or can relax in a quiet corner. They both have genuine bonds with the staff.
We particularly like the emphasis on outdoor play and the forest school sessions that are run for all the children.
We have always found Jigsaws to be very accommodating when we have needed last-minute sessions due to work, etc. and the staff are always genuinely happy to see the children at drop off.
Any problems/queries we have had have always been dealt with quickly with minimal fuss.
Overall we are really happy with Jigsaws and have recommended to friends.

The children love coming. They are so happy. They get lots of trips out to woods school and the park and do lots of educational crafts and projects.
The team at Jigsaws are very welcoming and always so happy to see the kids.
I particularly like the system they use for giving parents pictures, updates
and reports on the children.
The close ties they have with Kirk Fenton School means they can pick up and drop off the kids at before and after school clubs, so they don’t miss out. They also have catch-ups with the school to tie in with the curriculum.

I have used Jigsaws for six years and both my children have loved it. Particular highlights are how the staff and children are like one big family and the food they provide. I love their commitment to Forest Schools and both my boys have loved the outdoor learning. They run a wide variety of activities
in the school holidays. I also love the digital parent/nursery connection, where I can log on and see what they have been up to and also send information on what they have been doing at home. This has helped develop the language skills of my youngest, as the staff encourage him to talk about things they know he has experienced.
Highly recommended.

My daughter has always enjoyed attending Jigsaws - they do a wide variety of educational and fun activities which engages the children. My daughter particularly loves the forest schools and the trips to the local area.
The staff are always helpful and caring and keep us updated on progress. Regular
updates on the internet app help me keep involved and up to date through the day whilst at work.
Parent evenings are held, giving a good chance to speak with the team and parents are informed of the child's progress.
Food prepared on site and to a high standard.
All in all a great place for fun and education.
Would highly recommend.

My little girl loves coming to Jigsaws. She is always excited to tell me about her day when she has been there. They do lots of different fun activities each day and her key worker works so hard to bring out the best in my daughter and she has learned so much! The staff are so caring and approachable

They have fully supported my daughter since the age of 6 months. She is now 2 years, 4 months and they have encouraged and developed her non stop. They encouraged her potty training and have dealt with it with no problems. My daughter's maths and love for books have continued at nursery where they do

My 20-month-old daughter only started with Jigsaws Childcare Ltd 4 weeks ago. It was difficult at first as it was new for the both of us. I am regularly kept up to date with how she gets on during her time there and encouraged to call if I have any concerns. The staff are all lovely and have really
