Daisy Chain Childcare Adel

Carers in the Elves room are amazing, responsive and kind. Two carers do a wonderful job. There are good facilities both indoors and outdoors plus. There is a range of activities and an online system to give regular online updates.

It’s a shame as when we sent our first child over 5 years ago, I would have rated it excellent.

My son started nursery five months ago and he settled in very quickly. On his fifth day there, he was happy to be dropped off. He gives the staff a big smile in the morning when he sees them. The staff are very friendly, caring and professional. They are so good at listening and they are genuinely interested in my son's development. They have recently organised a parent get-together and it was amazing to see my son's baby friends and their parents. It was also good to see my son interacting with the staff. Thank you very much Daisy Chain!!

Our child started in the baby unit at Daisy Chain Childcare in Adel and settled in very quickly. She is happy to be dropped off in the morning and at pick up we are given really good feedback about what she’s been doing that day and how she has got on. The staff are friendly, professional and show genuine care in our child and her development and interests. We get regular updates on the Tapestry app and the activities are varied and fun. We would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

This nursery is great. The staff are very kind and friendly. My son is developing really well and really enjoys going to nursery. He’s formed good relationships with other children and the staff. They do loads of fun activities with the kids. It has a really nice atmosphere. They give me peace of mind when leaving him to go to work. Well recommended!

Managing the pandemic, the nursery has been really clear about policy and although there have been one or two cases within the staff, it has been professionally dealt with and I am happy with the level of care taken to minimise disruption wherever possible.

Adel Daisy Chain has been brilliant with my 18-month-old daughter. She loves attending and has made great progress in line with her next steps, which are updated regularly. She talks about her key worker and other staff at home and is always excited to see them when we drop her off.

I am just amazed how my daughter has settled so quickly! She loves going and is always happy to be dropped off at daycare thanks to her settling in sessions and done amazing on her first full day of daycare! Couldn’t say anything bad about the staff as they are all lovely and very helpful! I would 100% recommend.

The team at Daisy Chain Childcare Adel has been fantastic with my daughter. We moved her to Daisy Chain after hearing excellent feedback from other families whose children attend the nursery. She is looked after so well, never has nappy rash, eats foods she wouldn’t touch at home, and is mastering new skills every week from her social to fine motor skills. Through the activities and lessons, the team takes the time to plan for in advance each day. They always update the ‘tapestry’ app with information, including photos, so we can see what she has been up to and how she is progressing. At the end of each day, they talk us through how her day has been and answer all our questions no matter how ridiculous they are; they are so patient and caring. Our daughter is growing up in a bilingual household, and the nursery is accommodating with this. They have taken the time to learn keywords and phrases that we use in our house, making sure to use them as much as possible.

We got our son into the nursery when he was about 1 year old and we couldn't be happier. He has been extremely well looked after and has developed well physically and mentally. The staff at all the stages have been brilliant and made sure that he has moved one stage to another seamlessly. They have been brilliant during COVID. It is a big relief when we know that he will be looked after well at nursery when both of us are working. Every morning he wakes up, the first question he asks is if we are going to nursery and I think there is no bigger compliment than this. We wish them the best of luck.

Daisy Chain Adel is a warm welcoming Nursery. The staff are super with all the children, friendly and really caring. My youngest is always excited to be there and I am so glad that I chose this Nursery for her. I would highly recommend Adel Daisy Chain Nursery to parents.

My two children attend Daisy Chain and both run in every morning excited to see their teachers and friends. We are always given such a warm welcome by all the staff and get regular feedback about their development and pictures of the creative activities they do. I could not recommend this nursery more!

The best nursery for my children, who comes every day with a smile on their faces and enthusiasm to meet the great team. They are learning every single day something new and come back home with a lot of stories about the activities. The team is fantastic. It is evident that they make a lot of efforts to connect with each child in a way that suitable for him. I definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family. We are lucky to be part of this great place.

My daughter joined the nursery just before her first birthday and the Imps & Pixies baby room quickly became her new home from home. Thanks to the great team she developed a special bond with her key worker and the other staff in the room and settled very well into nursery life. Unfortunately during the pandemic, the nursery had to close for a couple of months. During the lockdown, my daughter like many children became averse to being away from home, but the team at Imps & Pixies helped to make her return as smooth as possible, and before long it was as if she'd never been away. My daughter has recently transitioned from Imps & Pixies to Sprites, and again the team have gone above and beyond to make this change for my daughter as effortless as possible. Thanks to the team in Imps & Pixies for giving us the best first year of the nursery we could have hoped for, and we're looking forward to what her time in Sprites will bring!

One time my daughter had a temperature and I loved that she got lots of cuddles and love from the staff in her room in spite of any covid anxieties they may have had. The only change would be to open half an hour earlier.

We know families that haven’t been able to use Daisy Chain due to the 8 am opening time but luckily this hasn’t excluded us.

I will definitely recommend them.

Both my boys have attended Daisy Chain and have been very happy there. The staff have great relationships with the children and provide thoughtful, imaginative, fun activities. My 3-year-old has just returned after lockdown and I couldn’t ask more of the measures in place to ensure safety and cleanliness. I am reassured that everything possible is being done whilst also providing a bright, fun environment for him to play in and enjoy. He comes home with big smiles on his face and clearly has a great time! We definitely recommend Daisy Chain.

My daughter has been attending Daisy Chain for nearly a year and is really happy here. The outdoor space is brilliant, they play outside a lot and because the windows in the rooms are floor to ceiling they still get a sense of outdoors when inside. The layout of the rooms are that they are next to each other which I think really supports with the transition as they move up to the older rooms. They have a quiet time after lunch where they pull down the blinds and the children can have a rest. At my daughter's previous nursery they didn’t do this and she never slept and came home so tired, now she gets a good sleep and has a much better routine. The staff are amazing, so enthusiastic and do so many creative activities with her, she has really good relationships with them. They have a chef on-site and fresh home-cooked meals. My daughter loves the food here and eats all sorts that she wouldn’t at home. I love how they all sit together too and on their birthday they make them a cake!
