Funding & Fees
Our fees cover the cost of everything you and your child will need for their day at nursery. This is inclusive of, but not limited to: childcare, snacks, breakfast, lunch, high tea, milk, formula, nappies, wipes, sun cream, consumables, specialist teaching staff, use of broader school facilities, all curriculum activities, free uniform (where age appropriate) and more. We want life for families to be as simple as possible and our all inclusive fee structure ensures this happens.
Our fees are as follows: Full Day Rate: £75, Half Day Rate: £45.
We accept government funding to support eligible families and sibling discount for families with more than one child in our school or nursery.

We get regular updates during the day which is really reassuring and they even do parents evenings which is a nice touch. The food is cooked fresh in-house, healthy and they cater for everyone.
Theres also a coffee van on site with homemade cakes (which is a big win!), and they run loads of events that parents can get involved in, which makes it feel really welcoming
It's such a relief knowing our child is happy and well looked after. We'd definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a great place for their little one,

The mount nursery is exemplary, the teachers provide regular, detailed feedback about your child. The teachers are conscientious, my daughter's key worker works full time at the nursery and is absolutely fantastic she regularly informs us of the progress of our child. Any concerns we have are always listened to and addressed. The learning and facilities are great. The hygiene levels at the nursery are excellent and the children are always kept clean. My daughter has been attending for the Mount nursery for almost a year now and she loves it there. We look forward to her starting kindergarten in sept 26. I highly recommend the Mount nursery.

There's always a great variety of fun activities going on, and the food menu is excellent with lots of healthy, nutritious options. The staff are all lovely, which makes such a difference and gives us real peace of mind.

Before joining, he lacked confidence holding a pencil and forming shapes or letters. Within a few weeks of being at The Mount, he could confidently hold a pencil and write his name, something that is down to the great teaching and encouragement he received from the wonderful staff.
The Mount is a brilliant setting, they put on a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities keeping the children engaged throughout the day. My son consistently told me with excitement what they'd been doing each day, and he would run in without issue every morning.

In addition to this they were all lovely and really nurturing, my son still has really strong ties to his former teachers even though he has now moved into Kindergarten (which is also great).
The class itself is really nice and clean, the grounds are also very nice with outdoor activities/play being an integral part of the children's experience. Overall the nursery was a great place for my son and I will be taking my other son there by the end of summer!

Sept 2024-25. We moved our son from a local nursery to the Mount because of its incredibly warm and welcoming environment. Here, the nurturing and supportive staff helped our shy 3 year old thrive, grow in confidence and build lovely friendships. Our son was given a strong start in phonics, early reading and writing and we particularly valued the emphasis on outdoor and imaginative play which our son absolutely loved. The mount provides excellent care and a nurturing environment. The team are supportive, communication is great, and my child has grown in confidence since joining. The Nursery Manager at The Mount Nursery has been a valued member of the team since 2020, bringing extensive experience in early years education as well as Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teaching. With a deep passion for early childhood development, they are committed to creating an enriching environment where children thrive through play, exploration, and high-quality learning experiences.
Their expertise spans across the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring that each child receives the best possible start in education. With a focus on fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning, they work closely with staff, children, and families to support every child’s unique journey. Dedicated to high standards of care and education, they continuously strive to enhance the nursery’s provision, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating setting for all children.
Nicola Dixon brings over 25 years of experience in early years education, working with children from birth to age 11. She has led baby and toddler rooms, supporting the youngest learners in their development while also managing staff and providing guidance on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Passionate about the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Nicola has a strong interest in in-the-moment planning, ensuring that children's interests are at the heart of their learning experiences. By responding to each child’s curiosity and engagement, she creates meaningful opportunities that foster development across all areas. Her wealth of experience and commitment to high-quality early education make her an invaluable member of the team.
Charlotte has worked in childcare since 2016, gaining experience across various nurseries in baby, toddler, and pre-school rooms. She is a qualified Early Years Teacher (EYT) and is passionate about providing high-quality play experiences that foster children's independence. Charlotte is particularly enthusiastic about teaching early literacy and numeracy skills in a fun, engaging way, ensuring that children develop a love for learning from an early age.
