Here at Goose Hill Nursery the staff are amazing, always reinforcing positive behaviour and are very committed to making children feel at home in a lovely natural/homely environment. At Goosehill nursery outdoor play in all weather is encouraged in a large green space where children can thrive. Staff and manager are lovely and friendly, will always make time to chat about your child's development or any concerns you may have and always do their best to help. I am glad I sent my children here and would highly recommend Goose Hill

My children have attended Goosehill from July to August 2024.
I have found the staff to be welcoming, caring and calm.
Nothing was too much trouble to ensure the children were happy, adapting the activity schedule to the wishes of the children. Accommodating fussy eaters.

I cannot recommend enough.

Staff are all very kind, funny and caring. My child enjoys going to this setting. Plenty of activities for them to do, they celebrate all different occasions and celebrations. Clean and tidy. Food is homecooked and enjoyed by my child. I believe they are constantly updating toys and resources. Fantastic nursery! Would highly recommend.

After searching lots of nurseries for my 2 children we came across Little People. All staff here are so welcoming and always go above and beyond to help. My children have settled in so quick and are so happy here. The class sizes are perfect and I know that when I drop my children off on a morning they're going to be well looked after. I can't recommend them enough and can not imagine my children going anywhere else.

My son has attended the nursery since April 2018 and we have been nothing but impressed by the service we have received.

When I first went back to work, my son was 10 months old and at a prime developmental age. I was worried that I would miss out on the opportunity to help guide him into certain developmental areas, however, the staff at Little People have been brilliant in helping him get there.

Since he has started, he has started walking, eating extremely well (he was VERY fussy before) and his communication skills have improved.

Whenever we have a developmental goal, we work together with the staff members to try and achieve it.

He comes home and surprises us every day with new skills, the newest being animal noises!

I would recommend this nursery to anyone who is wanting a secure, trustworthy environment for their child to grow and develop.

My son has both dietary requirements and sensory differentiation. Little people have provided a fully transparent and inclusive environment and supporting my son through his dietary changes and menu development. Despite being unable to safely or comfortable access the same resources or foods as others, my son has experienced childcare in the exact same way as his sister. Little People have successfully incorporated his needs at all times and without questions.

Fantastic nursery, fantastic staff really helpful and great at there jobs. I would definitely recommend to anybody. If I have any further children Little People would definitely be my first choice of nursery. They have been brilliant and very, very helpful, not just with my child, with me as well. If I've needed any advice for anything at all they have been there. Wonderful people and wonderful nursery really proud to have been apart of it.

My son started the nursery nearly a year ago & has come on massively with his learning and social skills. I always receive feedback from the staff on what he has been doing that day & there’s an online journal that is regularly updated with pictures; I can also add pictures which enables staff to ask him what he’s been doing on his days off which I think is a brilliant idea. My son never complains about going & always comes out happy, telling me all about his day, which shows me that he is really enjoying his time there. I have never been nervous about leaving him as I know he is being cared for well. When compared with parents who have children at other nurseries in the area it is made clear that Little People do a lot more for their children such as the range of seasonal activities they organise and all the opportunities to learn.

I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone, the staff are all lovely and professional and there is nothing bad to say about the nursery as a whole.

I wanted a nursery I could trust to look after my child when I was at work and this nursery was the one!! All the staff are friendly and approachable.
My son loves coming to the nursery and seeing his friends. The staff are happy, friendly, professional and approachable.
The staff always keep me up dated with how my son is developing with newsletters or with a parents evening and tapestry (which I like because I can add photos of the things we do together at home) My son has a strong relationship with all the staff in the building. I can't fault Little People Nurseries in Heckmondwike at all!

The most important thing is, that I know my child is safe and taken care of.

My son has attended this nursery for 6 months since he was 9months old and he absolutely loves it. He comes home and has used every change of clothes because he has done so many fun things and got covered in all kinds of fun, interactive things.
They play outside and do many different kinds of messy play, he draws and bakes and always has things to bring home.
The girls who look after him are great, they keep me informed on everything he does and act upon feedback we give them.
We love the app they use to show his development and activities he's been doing.

I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has really come on whilst coming to Little People. Particularly since they took over.
He has grown in confidence, and they encourage him to engage with other children which he has done.

I also like the foundation website where we can see what he's done and also that we can upload activities he has done at home.

Both of our children attend Little People Heckmondwike. Our daughter is in the School Room and loves it. She always has stories to tell about what she has been doing. We are very happy with her progress and that is down to the excellent staff and great activities they provide. Our son goes to breakfast and afterschool club at the nursery which is fairly priced with great staff. It has a calm social atmosphere perfect for unwinding after school. We would definitely recommend it to other parents in the area.

In Heckmondwike, my daughter has grown so much since she started over a year ago and there is not one minute I look back at the nursery I put her in with regret. All the staff in the nursery and at head office are so nice and child-friendly. They put every child first and have a bond with them all. They are flexible to your needs as a parent and I feel that if there is ever an issue in or outside of nursery, the staff will always listen and take into account everything that has been said. I always recommend this nursery to friends and family and will be devasted when my daughter moves on to school.
