As part of the school, Dragonflies Daycare provides a safe and welcoming environment for babies and children up to age 5. This early years provision is designed to ensure a seamless transition for pre-schoolers into full-time education. For school-age children (5–10 years), the school's Extended Provision offers a breakfast club, an after-school club, and a holiday club. School staff fully manage these wrap-around services, and the holiday club warmly welcomes children from neighbouring schools.
The nursery staff are well established and have extensive experience nurturing young children to help each child reach their full potential. The team understands that children need time to explore and investigate activities at their own pace. By building strong relationships, educators provide encouragement and support to build on each child's strengths.
The nursery offers an exciting, stimulating learning environment indoors and out. The school boasts extensive grounds, including a dedicated wooded area that the nursery children access through regular, planned sessions. Through these outdoor experiences, children can explore, investigate, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Furthermore, the nursery children benefit from the school's village location through regular educational trips to local amenities, including the library and park.

We are extremely happy with the provision at Dragonflies. There is lots to stimulate the imagination whilst at the same time it is organised so that the children feel safe to explore different activities both inside and outside. The staff are all friendly and caring and there is a good atmosphere. My twins moved here about 6 months ago and they really enjoy going, I would highly recommend this nursery.
