The Ark Private Day Nursery is located on a four-acre site in the West Yorkshire countryside in the centre of the Calder Valley. The children can look out onto views of the Calder Valley and watch the weather pass across the hillside, take walks along local countryside track and enjoy playing in the playgrounds and gardens.
The Ark offers the opportunity for children to achieve their potential within a happy, safe and healthy environment. The nursery's focus is very much on learning and development and so there is an early years teacher within the setting ensuring the children are advanced learners ready for school when they leave.
The on-site Forest School provides a unique and fun learning experience, helping children develop independence and self-confidence. The Forest School sessions support learning outcomes through the EYFS and any child-led interests. The nursery also offer a range of extra curricular activities like french and baby ballet.
The team of highly qualified and professional staff attend training courses on a regular basis, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest childcare practice. The nursery operate an open door policy and encourage new parents to come and look round.
