Esscroft Private Nursery

What a fantastic place! My daughter absolutely loves it there. The staff are so attentive and caring. The feedback we get from them is wonderful, I really get the feeling that they genuinely care about every single child and making sure they are progressing the way they should.

My 2nd child is currently at Esscroft, my 1st previously attended and is now at school. The staff are all lovely and friendly regardless of role. They cater for my childs individual needs. The outdoor space is amazing. My child loves the range of activities he does

My child has recently started in Pygyms and I am over the moon with how amazing, caring and passionate all the staff have been. My daughter was only 6 months old when she started and I felt so confident leaving her with the brilliant team. She is full of smiles when I drop her off and they engage in brilliant activities. They have really encouraged the weaning process and sensory development. The outside space at Esscroft is very special and it’s great to hear that the children have been on nature walks exploring. I feel extremely lucky to be able to send my daughter to Esscroft. Highly recommend it and can’t thank the team enough!

The events at Christmas, summer parties and sports days all enhance the experiences of the young people and make them feel valued and a sense of belonging to a wider community which in the current climate is wonderful.

I have a child in the pre school. She has the best time. In a wonderful environment with professional friendly staff. She is my 3rd child to attend the nursery I would never look anywhere else. All my children have attended the first in 2003. It just gets better and better.

Esscroft Private Nursery is a great setting for a nursery, with lots of outside space for the children to enjoy. All the staff are really friendly and they do a really good job at supporting the children’s development, continually keeping the parents updated with progress and the various activities.

My son has attended this nursery and pre-school full-time since he was around 9 months old. He came as an extremely picky eater but the staff have consistently persevered with him in such a positive way and he now finishes most of his meals! He is such a happy boy because of Esscroft, he really cares about the staff, speaking of them so fondly and has come on in leaps and bounds developmentally. He smiles when I drop him off and when I pick him up and still wants to carry on playing in the grounds rather than going home! I also love coming there too, I always receive full handovers from the staff and lovely pictures of his activities throughout the day on the app. The staff in pre-school where he is at the moment are exceptional and I’m so grateful for all the time and effort they put into my boy. They have such a lovely bond with him and have had such a positive effect on his behaviour. Thank you Esscroft - nowhere compares in my opinion.

Outstanding nursery. The staff and grounds are great. 2 members of staff in Tawny's room have been fabulous. So grateful to all at Esscroft for their high standards. Our daughter is dairy free and they have been fabulous managing it.

My little one is in Pygmy's and we've been really impressed. The staff are so calm and caring and engage the children in activities that they enjoy. My little one is very shy with new people but she very quickly formed a bond with the team and clearly enjoys her nursery days. She's learnt loads of new skills and her sleep is better. I can't thank the team enough they are amazing.

This nursery is wonderful and my one-year-old daughter really enjoys her time there. The staff are both professional and caring and seem to take genuine care and interest in what my daughter is doing and her development. The food is of high quality and the facilities are great, especially the outdoor area.

My son has been attending Esscroft Private Nursery for two years now and loved every minute. The staff are attentive, friendly and genuinely care. My son has come on in leaps and bounds since starting, with a huge improvement in his speech and development. The learning, playing and tasks set out each day are truly fantastic, with a real variation. All the food is fresh, healthy and home cooked which is important to me and I can see on the app we use what he’s had to eat each day and even how much of it - a great little touch. The outdoor space makes Esscroft stand out from other nurseries, it has so much to offer and my son loves exploring their delightful grounds. We are so grateful for all they do

After a 2 year break, I'm now sending my youngest child to Esscroft Private Nursery and it remains just as wonderful as I remember it the first time round. The staff are so lovely and helpful and I know my daughter enjoys each and every day she is there.

We feel very confident leaving our son in the more than capable hands of the Esscroft Private Nursery staff. He loves his time at nursery and has learned so many new tricks since he joined earlier this year. We have seen his confidence develop each week, I love reading his daily updates, even though I am working I feel very connected knowing what he is up to hour by hour. The staff are so lovely, understanding and patient, thank you all so much.

Esscroft are our extended family and we have felt totally supported by them throughout our son's attendance. We have had a number of hurdles to get over as a family and the manager and the team have always been there to help us. Our son actually cries when we collect him because he's had such a great time. We will forever be grateful for their care.

Esscroft is an amazing nursery, the facilities compared to other local nurseries are the best. The staff at Esscroft are what make the nursery so special, they’re all so welcoming, patient, kind, and friendly. Leaving my little boy with them since he was 9 months old has been easy as a parent. I feel when I leave him on a morning he always has a fun day ahead! The service is fantastic, nothing is a problem. Thank you to all the staff at Esscroft!

We cannot put into words just how lucky we feel to be able to send our little boy to Esscroft! It is a wonderful nursery with the most caring and attentive team. They all work so hard to ensure that the kids are happy and having fun whilst learning. We are also lucky that it is set in the most beautiful surroundings which the children get to enjoy daily!

Esscroft really is a great nursery! The staff are so attentive, supportive and nothing is too much trouble! The outside space is outstanding. Our child has developed so well in such a short time and loves coming to nursery. Can't thank the staff enough!

Our experience at Esscroft Nursery has been terrific. It's easy to be wowed by the grounds and grandeur of the setting (which are totes ridix!) but what really matters, what counts the most, is the team that the manager has built there. Our daughter has moved through 2 of the provisions so far, soon to be in her 3rd, and at each stage, the teams have been wonderful. We've seen our daughter learn and develop so quickly and right before our very eyes, a testament to the wonderful activities and (often messy!) play. The team there know our daughter so well and she's bonded beautifully with all of the staff there, but especially her key workers whom I just cannot praise enough. These young women are superstars. I also like the bond they develop with parents too: our key workers always tell us when it's been a good day, and exactly why, but also when there are bad days - and why. This nursery has so much going for it, couldn't recommend enough.

Our son has been coming to Esscroft for just over 2 years now, it's been a pleasure watching him grow. He loves it here and all the space you have to run around which I couldn't find anywhere else. We actually moved in 2021 further away from Menston to Rawdon but decided the longer drive was still worth it. Would highly recommend.

Esscroft is just incredible. I cannot possibly speak highly enough of the wonderful people, amazing grounds, true attention to detail, great facilities, food... I could go on. One thing I think is especially amazing is how they are in tune with the individual needs of every single child. The educators noticed that my boy was lacking in emotional development, so they scheduled one-to-one time with him every week to bring him up to the point where he will be ready for school. I can't believe how much time, energy, intuition, and care they put into making every child's experience at Esscroft wonderful. We will be sad to leave when it's time for school!
