Cliffe House Day Nursery Burley-in-Wharfedale

I would recommend this nursery because it has lots to offer and the staff and management are really lovely people. They go out of their way for you. It's lovely having different rooms for the children as they grow up. The food they offer the child is healthy options which is nice.

Excellent nursery. I have had 3 children here over the last 2 years and have they all loved it. Friendly, caring and dedicated staff and a lovely building with excellent resources. I would highly recommend.

The quality of child care matches the quality of communication and the openness to work with each child and each family as individuals.

I enrolled my second child to this nursery, as I was so happy with the care received when my first son attended several years ago. I love the setting and how the nursery takes such care in progressing each child from one stage to the next. The staff are all extremely friendly, caring and helpful and every query and request I have had has been dealt with quickly and without any issues. Both my children were/are never upset at drop off, which gives me lots of reassurance that they are happy there. I like the range of activities offered, especially with more outdoor activities and walks around the village being offered since my first attended. I always highly recommend the nursery to people I meet.

My son started at Cliffe House recently after moving to the area. I was apprehensive about switching his nursery as he was so settled where he was. The staff went above and beyond to make him feel welcome and settle him in. I can't thank them enough. He loves going and always has so much fun with the variety of activities they get up to.

I am really happy and hoping to keep her here to school age.

As a parent, you are kept fully up to date with everything that has happened in the day and even has a parents evening. A wonderful nursery.

Lovely nursery. Staff are so friendly, accommodating, caring and helpful. I never worry about my daughter because of how caring people are. Rooms are well equipped and they get out and about lots in the nice weather. Highly recommended.

Cliffe House Nursery is absolutely excellent, my daughter absolutely loves it! I'm so happy with our experience and cannot recommend it more. The staff are lovely and the food is always tasty and healthy. I feel so comfortable leaving my little girl there when I have to go to work. My daughter has also learnt so much and become a lot more sociable. The cleanliness is always of a high standard.

I absolutely love this nursery. The staff are all kind, caring, compassionate and thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely love the children they are caring for. They complement the care my son receives at home and he is not forced into a routine that suits the nursery. Could not be happier with the care provided so far.

The nursery is cleaned to a very high standard and the menus are healthy and varied. They offer a fantastic range of activities for the children.

I can't thank all the staff enough for all they do to make it so positive for our daughter and for us.

Absolutely excellent nursery. Our eldest son attended their nursery in Horsforth and now our youngest goes to the nursery in Burley. As well as all the standard care you come to expect from an excellent nursery, what makes Cliffe House stand out so much to me is how much the staff seem to genuinely care about my child. He’s not just a business to them but feels part of the family. It helps that the staff are all familiar as there have been very few changes over the years. They aren’t bored teenagers but experienced men and women who I completely trust to look after my son. I’ll be very sad to see them go when he starts school in September.

The outside space is reasonably small but well designed and recently renovated too.

Cliffe House is a really welcoming, accommodating place. We chose it because they listened to our requirements - where our son likes to sleep and were flexible to accommodate it. The manager is brilliant and making you feel at ease and all the staff look really happy at work, make eye contact and engage with parents. My son is really pleased to go there each morning and has formed strong bonds with the staff.

My daughter has big smiles for all the staff. I am always told how delightful she is. This is obviously due to the care and attention she receives here. I am very happy with the layout and activities provided. My daughter has come on very well since starting here.

A fantastic nursery. The location and opening times (7.45am to 6.15pm) are really convenient for us. The staff are lovely and really care for the children. They do lots of fun activities. My little one loves going there.

Fantastic staff in the yellow and red room which is where my son has been. Very bright and welcoming setting with well displayed rooms. All the staff approach me and my partner on arrival and departure, giving me feedback on my child's day.

Knowing that my daughter is spending time in such a happy environment has made my return to work after maternity leave much easier. The staff in particular are excellent - warm, caring and attentive. My daughter is very happy at the nursery and gets a lot out of her days, which involve varied activities such as messy play. Her confidence and sense of independence have noticeably increased since she started attending. The nursery was recommended to me by a number of different mums and I would have no hesitation recommending it to others.

The loving care provided at Cliffe House is evident every day. My daughter doesn't always want to leave me in a morning but the experts in diversion soon encourage her to play with her friends or have breakfast- she never wants to leave on an evening.
