Cavendish Lodge Day Nursery in Keighley, joined the 1st Safari Group in 2006.

It has a well qualified professional team that have built up an excellent reputation for their standard of childcare.

Run by experienced practitioners, staff look to offer parents peace of mind on issues such as health and safety, employee suitability, food hygiene and child protection, at the same time as enabling children to develop an extensive range of early years skills.

Four interior playrooms allow professionals to concentrate on an age-directed learning focus, while staff understand the need to celebrate individualism. Different and diverse ranges of development are supported, with the help of extensive outdoor play areas.

    We do not charge for Bank Holidays or any defined days that we are closed (Normally around Christmas).

This nursery is an incredible nursery. My twin grandchildren attend and have come on really well with speech and learning numbers, colours etc.
The staff are excellent and friendly and always happy to help. They get a variety of healthy snacks and enjoy going every day too.

This nursery is excellent, the staff are very pleasant and friendly. My children have come on loads and have learnt a lot since starting in September. My children are always happy and content when I collect them. Food is healthy and my children love to experience new snacks they provide. Overall, I

I really appreciate everything that all the staff at Cavendish Lodge Day Nursery do for me and my daughter. The manager is amazing and always goes above and beyond for everyone. I feel so relaxed when my daughter is at nursery. The food is freshly prepared daily with fresh fruit and veg which is great
for a healthy balanced diet. I love this nursery.

I was a bit nervous about leaving my son with different people or how he would like being at nursery, but a couple of months of him being at First Safari, it's like he's been here years. He absolutely loves it. He can't wait to come back day after day.
He also has come on leaps and bounds with his
talking and learning.

My daughter has attended the nursery for four years and during that time there have been turbulent times although the last 2 years have been brilliant.
The management structure is supportive and extremely efficient with what they do and in processing any requests.

All the staff have been excellent with my daughter throughout her time here. The staff go the extra mile when it comes to care and attention to personal issues such as allergies and spontaneous "illness". My daughter has grown and progressed a lot in her time here. This nursery is excellent and highly
recommended. Most days my daughter doesn't even want to come home. She has made many friends here. The staff seem to really enjoy their time with the children, it's not just a job to them, real bonds seem to be made 10/10

I have had four sons in this setting since 2009. All have had a good experience and have been happy to attend. Staff give regular feedback on their learning and play. CCTV is used to check accidents and is reassuring to have in place. Staff are approachable and always happy to help. Overall all my children
have always looked happy when I say "time for nursery!". The only thing that lets it down is the access road from Cavendish Street it has smokers/drug dealers/drinkers to negotiate sometimes.

Staff are very friendly and show interest in each child. My daughter loves going to nursery and always talks about the staff and friends. There is a nice welcoming feel to the nursery and it's very clean. Activities are different each day and my daughter is always excited to see what she can do that
day and play with. Staff ask how your child is each day and are willing to help if there's anything you would like them to help you with eg potty training. They have plenty of resources to the outside, bikes, scooters, climbing frame, which is great for children while playing outdoors.
