I can't fault this nursery,my daughter recently left preschool here for big school,my little boy is in toddlers and had had a difficult time settling back in after the holidays without his sister there.
Staff are caring and attentive to him at drop off and always tell me about his day at pick up.His
speech and learning have come on loads recently and I know nursery plays a big part to this too,so im very thankful to them.He eats well and is provided a good healthy balanced diet.The nursery is always kept clean and tidy also.Would 100% reccomend to any family looking for a good local nursery.

Been using Thornton lodge since 2020 when my little boy started now my little girl goes staff are so lovely and helpful both of my children love it there they always try to help with whatever is needed I feel at ease leaving my daughter in there care while I work it's a lovely clean and tidy nursey
and the children always look to be having so much fun

Thornton Lodge has seen my eldest through her younger years, she's now a teenager!
My youngest does not stop talking about her Nursery, she's happy, thriving and enjoys every second with her friends and the amazing staff.
The Nursery Manager is supportive, understanding and very patient..accommodates
when he can! We cannot ask for much more!
We are always grateful for the hard work, commitment and dedication from the team, my daughter is smiling every day! That is all parents could want... Thank you All!

A very good nursery. My son loves it and all of his teachers. Would definitely recommend to any parents. My son is the happiest when he's there, from when I drop him off to when I pick him up him up. I don't know what they do, but I do know they do a great job !!

Since starting with the nursery one little boy has grown so much in his skills + abilities he has an excellent bond with the staff and its lovely to see. The daily care, support and enthusiasm is amazing. He loves his time at nursery and as a parent feel assured + safe when hes there. He starts school
in Sept and we will miss the team incredibly. I couldn't of wished for a better nursery for him after being at home with me.

Thank you Thornton Lodge for all you have done so far. Both my children are at Thornton Lodge Nursery and it was the best decision I've made. The staff genuinely care about each child and as a mum that's all I want. My children to feel safe and happy. The nursery has friendly staff and management who
put children at the heart of everything that they do. My daughter can relay on staff and peers. Communication is great, every time I've phone for my children the staff are helpful and give feedbacks on activities, food, change and sleep. I observed first hand development within a short duration which assured me I had made the best decision. All the staff are amazing a special thanks to Nafeesa and Layla, you are amazing at what you do and thank you for being my children's comfort zone.

She absolutely loves all the staff especially Donna and Tegan. She comes home so happy and busy chatting away about her day. It's nervous finding a nursery and leaving your child but the
staff have done nothing but put me at ease. I'm so happy that we have picked Cavendish Lodge and I can't wait to watch Lucy continue to thrive there.

Mazehill Nursery has been the best place we could have found for our daughter. She found nursery hard at first but the staff were always understanding and supportive of her, and listened and acted on any concerns I had. It's been clear from the start just how much the staff care about the children and
the effort they put in every day is phenomenal. After the wobbles at the start our daughter has thrived there and will tell us now about the games she has played, her friends, and all the fun things she's done. Communication from the staff has always been good and we've really appreciated the regular reports. One of the best things about the nursery is that all the staff know all the students - this might seem like a minor thing, but it creates such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for the children and is a big reassurance for parents. I'd recommend Mazehill to anyone.

What a little gem of a nursery. They have absolutely wonderful staff and management, everyone is so friendly and always have a smile on their faces and available to help wherever they can! My daughters perceptions of nursery were restored for the positive when we moved to this lovely nursery! I can
only sing their praises for that. Their outdoor facilities are slightly limited for the 3-4yr olds but they make up for it in all other aspects. What a happy place for children! Wishing them all only the best.

There are not enough positive words for this team of women! As an overbearing mum any small concern raised was greeted only with care, understanding, and most importantly action. Over the 3 years my children have been at Mazehill their development and social skills have come on tremendously!
The staff
go above and beyond, on all occasions even to a point of clearing snow and pathways around the nursery to make it safe.
My children have been between 2 nurseries and I couldn't be more grateful to the team for their effort, dedication and top treatment as each term comes to a close. Mazehill make you feel comfortable, looked after, a priority on all levels!
They all really care about what they do, how they do it and each and every child that enters their doors.
They offer the highest standard and I will continue to hold them to that as my children move through the facility. I don't doubt they will continue the high standards!

Both my Girls attended Mazehill from being babies right up until starting school, they loved it, the staff are so kind and loving and always go the extra mile. The previous manager was wonderful and has passed the rains on to the new manager who is just as wonderful!

All 3 of my children have attended Mazehill since being babies at 9 months through to preschool. My first son starting back July 2015 & my last just stopped attending July 2025.
From the get go I felt comfortable leaving my babies here, my children were always happy when handing them over & would
be just as happy come home time. I feel like the staff have a natural warmth about them, making it feel easy to communicate any concerns.
By any means it's not perfect, no place is, but I've over a 10 year time span I've had no complaints either :)

Both my children have been to Mazehill, it's a wonderful nursery. The staff genuinely care about the children and get to know them, and take the time to make sure the children are having a good day. I feel included and informed about what they get up to, who they play with and that always helps feeling
confident about leaving them at nursery. Can't speak highly enough of the Mazehill team- I recommend them to everyone I know who might need them!
