Cliffe House Day Nursery Shipley

We couldn’t have been happier with our time with Cliffe House and would 100% recommend it.

My daughter started at Cliffe House Day Nursery Shipley when she was one and is now four. She has loved her time here. The staff in every room, from baby to toddler to preschool have been fantastic. The room leaders and management give confidence that your child is really well cared for and safe. The space and facilities they have are also great and it's a bright, warm and cheerful place to be.

My boys absolutely love attending and really love the staff in their room. Everyone is very welcoming and so helpful, it has been really reassuring for me. I feel that my boys are well looked after and have a fantastic time!

The staff are always amazing here and it’s a wonderful nursery, nothing to complain about - all positive!

My son has attended Shipley Cliffe House since January 2018 and he has absolutely thrived. He is so happy and bursting with lots of stories about what he’s been doing/learning about and who he has been playing and interacting with. The staff are so nurturing. I have felt confident leaving him even on the days he is upset, knowing that they will reassure him, cuddle him, settle/distract him at an activity quickly and take good care of him. They have been happy for me to call and check how he is getting on throughout the day and the feedback at the end of the day is always detailed and appreciated. The setting and environment is clean, bright, spacious and cared for and there are always plenty of activities on offer for my son to get involved with. Resources are well kept. My son is offered a variety of healthy and nutritious meals and he often eats things I can’t get down him at home so I think that’s impressive in itself. Thank you for giving him such a good start to his education.

My daughter has been attending Cliffe House for over three years and she has loved every day of being there. The staff are amazing, very attentive to her needs and very encouraging of her development. She is going to be very sad when she has to leave to start school next month.

My daughter has attended this nursery since it first opened and has had an absolutely amazing time from start to finish. She is due to be leaving for school in a few weeks and has already commented on how much she is going to miss the nursery and all the staff there. Their re-opening policy after covid lockdown has been exemplary and incredibly robust. Places have been kept to a minimum and children bubbles have proven effective. My daughter does not feel at risk when she attends nursery, nor do I or her father have any concerns or worries regarding this. The children are expected to wash their hands very often and encouraged and guided with this and social distancing measures have been implemented. Parents are currently expected to drop children off at the door to reduce the number of people in and out of the building. Absolutely brilliant response and very well organised.

Fantastic Nursery. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending and the staff are brilliant. I would highly recommend to other parents.

My son goes to Cliffe House three days a week and loves it here. The staff are excellent and really supportive of him. The nursery is well managed and maintained with excellent facilities. Activities for the children are varied and well structured, with lots of materials and guidance for the staff to help ensure that children can enjoy and make the most of their time here. Thank you!

The nursery has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Bright and colourful, visually stimulating. Staff all happy to help and answer any questions/discuss any concerns etc. My son has/is developing amazingly well due to all the staff's efforts and excellent activities which they provide each day. We really appreciate all you do - thank you.

I have only had positive interactions at that nursery. The staff are always friendly, smiling and happy to help.

Fantastic nursery. Always attentive to any needs of my daughter. Work together with parents with any concerns. My daughter loves coming to this nursery and has a very close relationship with the staff. Would definitely recommend and couldn't ask for more.

Excellent nursery, my son loves it - staff are very friendly, nurturing and accommodating. His social development has come on leaps and bounds since attending for the past year. They offer a wide range of creative activities that he really enjoys! Would highly recommend!

The staff are very welcoming. My child is developing rapidly since attending this nursery for the past 6 months. The meals are to a high standard and always contain vegetables.
