The Old School House Nursery Benty Lane

We used Old School House for our son and now our daughter and it was one of the best decisions we made. The staff in every room are always friendly and form great connections with the kids. The reception and management team have always been helpful. Highly recommend the nursery.

The management are also really helpful and look to accommodate wherever they can if last minute childcare needs arise. Couldn't be happier with our nursery choice and with twins on the way we've already signed them up.

Our son loves going to nursery. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They have helped his development so much. He regularly does phonics, PE, french, craft and baking. He also goes to forest school, has visited a care home and gone to a pantomime. He has been in the nativity play and learns new songs at nursery. We trust everyone that works there and feel he is safe, happy and well cared for.

Very happy with our experience of the nursery, friendly staff and my little boy really enjoys it. The nursery are flexible with days/ holidays which makes things much easier. Staff seem to have a good relationship with the children

My daughter enjoys her time at the old school house nursery. She has plenty of time for free play including time outdoors. She's started to learn phonics and will be in a good position to start school in September. The carers are lovely and they've built up a nice relationship with my daughter.

Lots of happy children at pick up and drop off. Friendly staff. Always suitably dressed at pick up with nappies sorted. They never appear to go hungry, maybe the opposite given they aren't hungry at dinner time at home, after pick up. Very happy with this nursery experience. Good to see them spending lots of time outside - shame there's no grass on site - but lots of toys/activities/learning make up for that. My child really enjoys the experience and being with their friends.

You can see the passion everyone has for what they do shining through! We have had experience of a few of the rooms from baby, to nursery to blue/yellow room and always had a lovely chunk of time in each area (we've missed each groups of teachers/carers as our daughter has moved on). Cannot speak highly enough of the nursery, if anyone asks or we speak about nursery's we always say we would highly recommend ours, their communication, flexibility and general care within their curriculums etc is incredible! If we plan for future children there will be no doubt we'll apply for spaces again! Thank you for everything you do you make a huge difference in people's lives, especially juggling with childcare around working!

Our 2 children consecutively went to The Old School House Benty Lane over the last 5 years. We have been extremely please wit the overall experience we had. Thank you very much to all the staff to contribute to the development and loads of fun our kids had in all this time!
