The Old School House Nursery Benty Lane

We are really pleased with the excellent care & support our child and we as parents have received from the whole nursery team as she has progressed through the nursery. The staff were very knowledgeable & helpful with supporting potty training. We particularly chose OSH due to the flexible long hours which accommodate our work schedules & it is so useful that they provide breakfast. When we looked around the nursery with our young baby, we weren't particularly concerned about the extra-curricular activities they were providing inc. tennis/French lessons/events. However, as our child progressed to the pre-school, we saw her enjoyment of these activities & the value this added to her nursery experience. It is not a cheap nursery, & when our child was unable to speak was somewhat frustrating that they remained paper-based when other nurseries have apps. But it has been a safe, happy environment that our child has thrived in & prepared her brilliantly for school & we would recommend it.

Fantastic nursery team, caring and attentive. Excellent support from every member of staff too. My child has thrived here and loves going every day. A mix of activities and play. So flexible with day swaps too. Thank you all.

The facilities are excellent, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. We are always greeted with a warm smile, and it's clear that the staff genuinely care about both the children and their families. Such a lovely nursery! Staff are friendly and welcoming. My daughter was only 6 months old when she started and I always felt she was well cared for. She loves going and always has the best time. There's great outdoor spaces for them to play in which are nicely hidden from public view.

Honestly couldnt sing The Old School Houses Praise enough. Both my children have gone here, my second is still here. My second has severe anaphylactic food allergies and honeslty they couldnt do more, it is a really tough road to naigate and they do everything in their power to keep him safe, included and well looked after, He has his own food menu, they have removed certain allergens he has on days from the nusery for example green peas. Honestly words would ever express the gratitude we have towards all the team! They are like family.

Our little one started at the beginning of the year and we have been very happy with the care that our little one has received. The staff have been fantastic at communication and are always welcoming. Our little one loves going to nursery and gets upset when we pick them up because he just wants to keep playing.

I cannot rave about Old School House enough. My daughter loves going every time. The staff are professional, the activities varied and the food excellent. Recently my daughter had an allergic reaction and to be honest the nursery dealt with it way better and more informed than we would have. They helped us through the process. Can't thank them enough

Really friendly supportive staff who all help create a enjoyable environment. Really happy to be able to take my child there and pleased that they are always happy to go every day. It really does make the day so much easier!

Benty Lane, Old School House Nursery is a warm, friendly and nurturing place for my daughter to attend. From the moment we walk through the door, we are greeted with smiles and warmth. My daughter is always really well engaged and we've seen her thrive since attending. The care the staff have for my daughter is clear and this makes me feel confident in choosing Old School House Nursery.

We have had a great experience with OSH for the past 4 years. Our eldest is starting reception this year and it is clear that she has grown into a happy, confident little girl with OSH providing her with skills to ensure she is ready for reception. The French and tennis lessons are a bonus during preschool years. They try to be as accommodating as possible for unexpected changes in nursery sessions. It is evident staff are caring by how my girls talk about their carers when they come home.

My daughter attends this nursery and has a great time there. She's always very happy to arrive in the morning and all the staff seem very kind, warm and supportive. I would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

We are very pleased with the experience that our child has had throughout his time at the nursery. It is very well organised and the staff are very friendly and approachable. The children have a variety of opportunities to learn through a range of areas and these are well communicated through weekly newsletters and displays within the nursery. Our child has made great progress at the nursery and looks forward to attending. Staff give verbal feedback at the end of each day and reports are sent home to inform on our child's learning and development. Children bring home reading books to share with parents and these books are also read with nursery staff. The nursery environment is welcoming and inviting, including the outdoor areas. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Both my children attend the setting and I cannot compliment the care and support they receive enough. They love going to their nursery and learn so much, always engaging in educational activities that are fun and engaging. The staff are all amazing and truly care about the children , my kids have built strong positive relationships with all of their carers. Would highly recommend this setting to everyone!
