The Nursery provides a happy, nurturing and secure environment where each child can develop and learn to their full potential.

Located in Aston, Sheffield, the nursery is ideally situated for both commuters and families within the local community. Set within a large converted house, the nursery creates a warm and friendly environment where children feel safe and secure.

The nursery is family-run and managed by a highly competent manager with many years of nursery experience acquired working within the local community.

An enthusiastic team of early years practitioners are committed to providing the highest quality care for each child, and regularly attend a wide range of training programs throughout the year, enabling them to continually build on their skills and knowledge.

The Nursery has provision for children aged between birth and five years. This includes a baby room (birth to two years), a toddler room (two to three years) and a pre-school room (three to five years). Each room is assigned by age range to ensure the provision is closely matched to each child’s interests and stage of development. The nursery offers a before and after school service safely escorting children up to the age of 11 to and from schools in the local community.

A large outdoor area has been fitted with artificial grass so that it can be accessed in all weathers, ensuring children are able to develop both physically and socially in an active and fun-filled safe area.

The nursery provides funded places for qualifying two-year-olds and all three-and four-year-olds and offers extended funding up to 30 hours per week to qualifying parents.

The nursery welcomes parents who work variable shift patterns and will strive to accommodate them with the provision of variable daycare sessions wherever possible. For commuting parents, the nursery offers extended hours from 7am to 7pm where required.

Fantastic nursery. My daughter loved going to this nursery and made so many little friends, her speech came on so well and she overcame her potty training. My daughter has developed into such an independent, adventurous and kind little girl. This wouldn't have been possible without the help of this

My little girl loves the nursery! She cries when coming in but within minutes with the staff she loves she is soon settled down and plays. The staff are extremely helpful with my daughter's development.

My little boy goes to this nursery and he seems really happy when I drop him off there and pick him up.


The staff are friendly and experienced at looking after young children, and I trust them implicitly with my child.


The meals are very nutritious, and the snacks offer plenty of fruit, which

is good.

We couldn’t be happier with The Nursery, the staff are fantastic with my daughter and they have made the effort to really get to know her. I can see how comfortable she is with them, I have no doubt when she gets dropped off in the morning that she will be well cared for and enjoy her day.

My son has been going to the nursery for two years now and we are more than satisfied with the care he has received. My eldest son also attends the after school club provided at the nursery which is a godsend for full time working parents, as a full cooked tea is included in the price! Lovely staff
and nice outdoor play area too, the children have a variety of toys to play with and activities to do!
For all ages, a mix of educational play and encouragement is given with help and support available if needed.

I could not Recommend the nursery enough, my son absolutely loves it there and there is never a problem dropping him off. If there ever has been a teary moment when dropping him off the girls there will always make sure they give me a ring to let me know that he is okay, and happy playing again. There
is always a varied selection of food, and that has got my son eating food that I may never have tried him with. I never have any worries about dropping my son off there and they are all amazing with the children! The garden outside is also a little child’s dream, there are different things everywhere and he loves that too.

In our opinion we wouldn't recommend this setting. A problem occurred and when we tried to get in touch with management and they were slow to respond, in what we deemed a reasonable timeframe. We have been advised that these issues have now been dealt with. Nevertheless, we decided to take our daughter
out of the nursery, as we didn’t feel happy with the service that we personally received. However, we paid our invoice for the services we received when our daughter was in attendance, but are now being charged for a service we are not happy with and are not accessing.

I could not be happier with The Nursery! Before my son started here I never imagined myself being able to walk out on my sobbing 3-year-old! He is still settling in and we are still having lots of tears on "drop off," but the staff here are wonderful and I can assuringly go home or go to work, knowing
that he WILL settle and won't be left to cry. I am 100% comfortable with my child being left here. The communication between all the staff seems to be excellent. Everyone at the setting always has a smile and they all seem to know exactly who your child is when you walk through the door, even though we don't really know everyone yet as we are new and this is such a nice, welcoming feeling.
There are plenty of activities and toys to keep the children happy and the garden is great. I have already noticed changes in the way my little boy speaks, and his counting seems to have improved a lot in such a short space of time.
Big shout out to the girls in the preschool room. You do an amazing job!

I have been really happy with the nursery since we have been going. I always feel assured that my child is cared for, especially when having a bad day. Every day on pick up my child is having fun and is happy. Other than that I love the amount of time my child spends outside playing and the different
activities they have to do outside and one of the carers is always playing chase or hid and seek with them.

Very impressed. The staff are lovely and friendly. My son really enjoys going once he is there. They show affection when he is upset at first when leaving me which I like.
My son's speech has come on so much since he has been going. The food they provide is always healthy and my son always eats all
of his dinner.

The care both my children have received from 'The Nursery' has been outstanding. My children absolutely love going to nursery. My daughter has been attending for a year now. I was dreading going back to work and leaving her there but she settled instantly thanks to the lovely staff and the fantastic facilities! We chose The Nursery as the garden was so appealing, it's great that they can get out in any weather. My daughter
has made friends with the children and the staff, it's such a friendly environment and there is no worry about when they have to move up a room as they all know each other from playing outside. The food always sounds fantastic, and a great variety of home cooked meals. Would happily recommend The Nursery to anyone looking for childcare.

My son has been going here now for over a year and after looking at many childcare providers we chose The Nursery as it was very welcoming, the staff seemed nice, knowledgeable, and ALL first aid trained and my son really enjoyed the taster session. I can honestly say I've never had any problems, I'm
always informed of the day he's had, the girls are so lovely that work there never short on cuddles if my sons having an off day.
As he gets older and moves up the nursery, and his nursery teacher changes and he's a little unsure about going in his new room his old nursery assistants will come and reassure him. Most importantly I have no tears in the morning as he loves going. I cannot speak highly enough of them and will be sad when the time comes for him to leave pre-school.

Brilliant staff who have provided excellent care for my son, planning appropriate activities and experiences that relate to his current interests.
