Kids Planet Cleveleys provides flexible day care services for up to 48 children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is open year round, Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm, making it ideal for working families.

Running as a forest and beach school nursery, Kids Planet really makes the most of its seaside location. Children are given ample opportunities to learn from the great outdoors, hopefully sparking a love for nature and the environment from an early age, as well as providing varied learning and play opportunities.

A team of experienced practitioners run the site and design each day to be as fun as possible, encouraging children to learn, play and explore in a place they can feel safe and secure. All activities are planned around the children's interests and stage of development, and the team recognise that there is no one approach to childcare. There is a space for everyone at the nursery, including quiet areas for the youngest visitors, and dedicated play areas for whatever children love to do that day.

On site there is a qualified chef who prepares nutritional snacks and meals using fresh ingredients each day. The kitchen team are happy to cater for any dietary requirements or general preferences, and hope to give children the opportunity to learn about food and try new things.

2 of my 3 children have been to this nursery, my youngest still being there. The staff are incredible and my son loves going! I feel at ease knowing he is in the best hands he could be. They do so much to help develop his learning and I’d recommend to anyone.

My daughter has attended Nutkins for a year now and she has come on leaps and bounds. At a previous nursery, she would hate going and was so unsettled. But her confidence has grown and she actually looks forward to nursery now and it is down to the caring, attentive staff who work so hard to ensure
all the children thrive. As well as the amazing keyworkers and management, the chef is wonderful too. My once fussy eater has eaten so many new foods and received praise from all areas which has massively boosted her confidence with trying new things and just everything in general. I can not thank Nutkins enough for preparing my daughter for school and for just being a great nursery. 100% recommend.

Our little girl has been at Nutkins since she was a tiny baby and very soon will be going onto primary school. She has flourished and grown into a smart toddler. We will all dearly miss Nutkins and the wonderful staff that have been part of our child's life. Can only leave a review stating that this

My little girl started at Nutkins when she was 11 months old. She's grown and developed so much during her time at the nursery and I feel that the staff are an extended part of our family. Communication from staff is excellent, we are always informed of anything and everything. Our little girl loves
going to nursery which is massive to say as she wouldn't leave my side! They've supported her development massively and I couldn't wish for a better nursery. I only wished she never had to leave!

My son goes to this nursery and has recently transitioned downstairs. When he was in the baby unit, the staff were absolutely amazing with him. Nothing was too much trouble and you can see the care and effort they put into their work. My son built a special relationship with his key worker and I am
very thankful for every bit of time they have put into helping my son grow into the boy he is becoming. Also, staff downstairs are amazing. Always friendly and there’s always something new and exciting going on for him. Couldn’t wish for a better nursery for my son to be at.

My son went to Nutkins after previously going to an awful nursery that has since closed down. When we went to look round, the staff were very welcoming. After choosing Nutkins my son has settled in brilliantly. He still likes being with all the staff but loves playing with his friends and wants to
go to Nutkins at the weekend.
All the staff are very professional and nothing is to much trouble. I cannot recommend them enough. My son starts school in September and we're going to miss our Nutkins family.
All staff are on hand if you have worries or concerns. A massive thank you to all the staff.
The children even do french, science club and yoga.
My son always speaks about group time.

Nutkins offers an amazing nursery, that goes above and beyond just looking after the children. They offer a family environment, in which each and every child is looked after individually, by staff who are caring and offer a personal and nurturing attitude. Communication is fantastic with parents and
there is always an open (and welcoming) door policy if there is anything that you would like to discuss, they cannot do enough for the children to make sure they are happy and secure. The owner and the staff don't just look after the children, they look after the families too, and I have no hesitation ever dropping my children off there. I couldn't recommend enough.

My eldest daughter went to Nutkins from the age of 6 months from 2007 and came on leaps and bounds. The staff then was great. Now I have my youngest son there who has been there over a year. He absolutely loves it. All staff have been great specially with his transition from baby unit to downstairs.
Highly recommend this nursery. Thanks so much to all the staff.

Our daughter started in the baby unit at only 6 months old and has attended Nutkins two days per week ever since (she is now 19 months old). The staff are caring, well informed and engaged with the children and their needs. The activities and the foods offered are wide-ranging. Our daughter always
seems content when being dropped off and is happily playing when we go to collect her. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

Both my sons (2 and 4) attend Nutkins Nursery for 2 mornings a week. I don't want to leave the nursery myself sometimes because it is just the most wonderful and magical place and I would love to be able to stay all day :-) The team are professional, caring and a great support to myself as I am also
a foster mother. I know that when my children are at nursery they are loved, safe, educated and having fun. When my mother was ill and almost passed away, the nursery worked with me to ensure my boys had a place to go while I was at her side and I will always be eternally grateful. 10 out of 10 in all areas xxx

Since my son has been coming to this nursery his language has come on brilliantly. He settling in well, the staff are brilliant with my son. I love the fact he can roam around the nursery too. the nursery is well designed. I also find it easier to have the tapestry app too.

Our little boy started in the baby room in January - despite his sister attending previously we were still naturally anxious as he is only 1 - The senior staff member and the staff in the baby room could not do enough for us making this new chapter much less stressful and emotional. They keep us regularly
updated with pictures and reports on what he's been doing and learning. It is very reassuring knowing our little boy is being cared for in such an excellent way in a fabulous setting. Would highly recommend Nutkins nursery.

Nutkins is a fantastic nursery, all my child have attended this nursery my eldest is now 10, my youngest leaves for school this September and we will be very sad to be leaving here. Nutkins have so much to offer your child from French, football, yoga the activities are endless. My little girl is always
happy and full of it when she gets home. The staff are all amazing with the children and to see my child run over and hug the teachers before she goes home makes my heart melt. I can't be with her all day every day due to work commitments but I couldn't think of a friendly, nicer environment to leave my child in, I have no problems in given the Manager and her team a glowing reference they have been amazing not only with my children but have supported me throughout the years as well and the littlest things to them have made a massive difference to me and my children.

My eldest did and now my youngest goes to Nutkins. Both thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to going. My dd has come on so much both academically and personally there growing in confidence every day (she's quite shy). The staff are kind honest and truly care about all the children. The key workers
assigned to each child go above and beyond for their children they almost feel like part of the family. I feel my children are very lucky to attend nutkins and I am very grateful for all they have done and still do.

Brilliant nursery! We looked at quite a few local childcare options and came across Nutkins quite a few times through word of mouth. We called in off spec one afternoon without prior warning and the staff were more than happy to take the time to show us round and answer any questions. We loved the atmosphere
first impressions were great, I knew that our daughter would be well looked after.
Both our daughters have food intolerances and the nursery staff couldn't have done more to ensure dietary needs were met. I can't recommend Nutkins enough to anyone, it's a fantastic nursery with amazing staff.

Absolutely fantastic nursery!! My little girl started at Nutkins in June 2015 when she was just 10months old and she has loved it ever since!
The girls are lovely and are brilliant with the kids.
My little girl has gone from strength to strength since starting here.
They fully support with all
aspects of a child's development e.g potty training and I would choose the same nursery if I was to have another child!

I have used Nutkins nursery now for nearly 5 years. What a fantastic nursery it is. I honestly can't give one single fault. My daughter started off here and now my son is coming towards the end of his final year before school. I will be very sad to say goodbye. The staff are amazing and I 100% trust
them all. The nursery is always fully staffed and the staff are all qualified to high levels (unlike some)
I rate this nursery excellent in every area.

The staff are lovely and very friendly. Always greet you at the door with a smile. Both my boys were born premature and the staff have been extremely supportive and very flexible making a very difficult time a lot easier to manage. My son always has a smile on his face at nursery and enjoys all the

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Vikki Henderson is the Nursery Manager for Kids Planet Cleveleys and she has been working in childcare for 21 years. She has a passion for cooking, something she loves doing with the children in the setting. Vikki is a mum of two young boys and spends her free time at cricket matches and the local park.
