At Highfield Nursery in Blackpool, children enjoy a fantastic start to their early years in a purpose-built, spacious environment. Parents benefit from the nursery being conveniently located in the South Shore area with easy transport links and close proximity to primary schools.

The nursery has a secure garden featuring soft pour and tarmac areas with toys, houses and slides where children can learn social interaction through play.

In addition, there is a purpose-built preschool room, and a separate building for the young toddlers and babies

My son has been going to this nursery now for 17 months and I have never had any complaints, the staff are always very informative on pick up and polite. On his online journal, I can always see when he's eaten, slept and had nappies changed and always post lovely photos and messages about what they
have been doing that day. I'm happy with the meals that he's been fed and sticks to a very good well balanced diet and never comes home hungry. His speech, social and physical development is improving each and every day he's there and learning so much even at such a young age. He's always happy to go into nursery and always happy and smiling when picking him up and always properly cleaned after meal times and messy play. The nursery has a great variety of toys, sensory items and learning materials along with a lovely outdoor space to keep the children happy and learning. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My children are so happy to go to the nursery every day, they do variety of activities there. I love the staff they are so good at communicating and understanding. I'm really happy with this nursery even my children's health visitor told me I chose a good nursery for their development.

Staff in toddlers and preschool were very caring and kind during my granddaughter's transition. She was quite a shy child but has transformed into a confident girl during her time at Highfield.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she turned 2, she has become a very intelligent little girl, very independent and daytime toilet trained. I can’t fault the staff one bit, they have put time and effort into her throughout her time being there. She’s made tons of friends and enjoys going to
nursery every day.
Couldn’t not recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter has been attending Highfield nursery since February 2023. She has complex medical needs and at the beginning when she started they fully accommodated to these needs, however there was a high staff turnover and new staff came. The manager and staff didn’t meet my child’s basic needs let alone
her medical needs, they were meant to do training for her and failed to comply with nurses for the training and didn’t chase it up, she’s a fussy eater due to her complex needs and they didn’t offer her any alternative meals etc. My daughter also came home countless times with soiled nappies and hadn’t been changed during her nursery time.
Due to my daughter's complex needs she requires a catheter which is 3 hourly, as the nursery failed to meet these needs I had to come into the setting to do this every 3 hours or just send her in for 3 hours which I was paying for. My daughter was also in hospital and we got charged for her nursery place whilst she was having brain surgery to save her life.

My little boy has been there for nearly a year and is thriving every day. Unfortunately, we have to work a lot but the practitioners always make sure my little boy is comfortable and he's cared for. They do lots of wonderful activities to develop his fine motor skills and knowledge and makes sure we
are updated with pictures and information.

This nursery has very good activities. Two of my grandchildren go to this nursery. The children always come out happy. The nursery workers are always very polite and always let me know how the grandchildren days been with smiles on their faces. They have been to other nurseries and Highfield is the
best by far. Would recomend it to anyone. Best nursery in Blackpool.

My son has developed at a rapid speed thanks to the lovely ladies at Highfield Nursery. He has become a clever, confident little boy, and that is thanks to his nursery days. He absolutely loves his key worker and I feel comfortable knowing he will have a great day when I drop him off. The meals they
provide are nutritious and plenty of variety. The activities they do are educational and fun. All-round 5 stars.

I was very worried starting my little girl in nursery as she was a very clingy baby due to lock down, and not having the chance to be around other children. She started October 2021 for two days a week and just wow! I'm so glad with my nursery choice, not only have all the staff made me feel so at ease
they have helped my daughter gain so much confidence, she has certainly thrived, I've loved seeing all the new things she's learned and the bond she has formed with the staff is so lovely, I also love the nursery app its really nice to see lots of photos of my daughters days, I couldn't thank the staff and manager enough, thank you for making this experience wonderful

I was really nervous about my child going to nursery but the staff at the nursery put me at ease.

They have helped my little girl fit in really well. She was not used to other children or other adults outside our family/close friends since lockdown and she is loving her time there. Her first week has been a huge success, hopefully much more to come.

My little boy has been attending the nursery for nearly 1 year now; he initially started in the baby room and now is part of the toddler's group. I have always felt he is in the safest hands, which allowed me to go back to work without any worries. The nursery caters for his allergies amazingly as they
freshly make all of their food. As part of your fees in the toddler room, the nursery provides nappies and wipes, which provides extra value for money. The nursery is always looking to improve the nursery further and hold feedback sessions. I feel my feedback is always listened to. This last month I have noticed my little boy doing even more activities and appearing lots more on photographs in the app which brings me even more peace of mind. I would recommend this nursery to anyone and cannot thank the staff enough for their amazing care of my child who loves going! Thank you to all staff for your hard work every day.

Always such a warm welcome as soon as the door opened. The staff are so lovely and always give off a family vibe towards the children and parents. My two children absolutely adored all the staff. I’m gutted I had to leave the Highfield family due to travelling distance.

Having done drop off and collections of my grandson he is always really happy to go in, in fact doesn’t even give me a second glance and always really happy and chatty when he comes out which proves how much he loves it - would definitely recommend

Couldn't be more happy for my baby to come to Highfield. All the staff is dedicated, kind and try their best to make sure all children are safe and happy the time that they spend together. They always have a smile for all the children and are polite and warm. Our baby is happy there and we are at ease
