Kids Planet Clifton Lodge Nursery provides excellent childcare in a two-storey building located in a residential area of St Annes.

Children benefit from an extensive outdoor area and fantastic indoor rooms, carefully planned and equipped with resources to allow children to maximise their enjoyment as they play and learn each day.

As part of Kids Planet, the nursery use loose parts and open-ended resources to allow children to get creative and encourage discovery, collaboration, risk-taking and movement.

Staff are always on hand to guide and support, and praise and reinforce positive learning experiences.

We find all the staff professional and also warm and kind. My son is very settled and happy here and I'd happily recommend this nursery to other local parents. It's a relief for any parent to know their child is safe and in a happy, warm and clean environment!

Our son started at Clifton Lodge in Nov 2020. Throughout the nearly 4 years we have found Clifton Lodge to be very supportive and my son's early years development has been very much enhanced with his 3 days at nursery.
There was no hesitation in deciding where our daughter would attend. Our daughter
started in June 2023 and again, we have been very impressed with the support and development of her early years.

My little girl attends Clifton Lodge twice a week.
She has been going for nearly 6 months now and I cannot fault anything about the nursery.
All of the staff are amazing.
All members of staff take the time to get to know all of the children on a personal level and my little girl has come on leaps
and bounds.
Each day is a fun-filled packed day of education which shines through.
Home learning is great too!
The daily updates via the app and pictures are great which put me at ease knowing how happy my little girl is there.

Clifton Lodge is a fantastic nursery. Our son has moved through 3 rooms now from babies to lower preschool and the staff in each room have been brilliant. They are all so caring and our son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery. We couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone at Clifton Lodge.

I have two children at Clifton Lodge and the whole family is extremely happy with the nursery!
The baby room was such a warm, loving home from home for my youngest when he started at 11 months. The rest of the team are so caring and do everything possible to make the children feel safe and happy.
He is now really enjoying being in the toddler room and thriving with all his little friends.
My oldest is now in preschool and loves it. All the activities, including sport and fitness, are brilliant and he is so happy and engaged. All the staff are brilliant, my son loves all the creepy crawlies that staff bring in and I am really pleased that he has male role models in nursery to look up to.
My only issue with the nursery is that the bills are sometimes wrong and hard to understand.
Overall though I am very happy and think the quality of care is great!

I have had one daughter go through every room at this nursery between 2017-2021 and my second has attended from 10 months old and is now 2. The outstanding staff here make this nursery a really lovely place, they are really good at keeping staff and many have been here for years. There are also a number
of male carers which you don't get at a lot of nurseries - it definitely provides a really nice balance to really nurture little ones in different ways. There are frequent trips out, evening events and involvement with local community club days etc. There wasn't much noticeable change when the nursery was taken over by Kids Planet, the same great manager and team all continued to do what they are great at! I couldn't ask for anything else from a nursery for my girls. I wholeheartedly recommend them. Thanks, everyone, 5 stars from me!

My little boy attends Clifton Lodge, he has been going for nearly a year now and I can not fault anything about the nursery.
All of the staff are simply amazing! They really take the time to get to know all of the children and my little boy has made amazing bonds with not just his fantastic key worker
but also every other member of staff.
He's happy to run into nursery each morning as his days are full of learning, developing his skills and plenty of trips outdoors to the local areas.
The daily updates via the app are full of information and pictures which put me at ease and seeing my little boy so happy and thriving reassures me that I made the right choice in sending him to Clifton Lodge.

My daughter really enjoys going to nursery and when I go to pick her up, she's always keen to stay, which tells me she thoroughly enjoys herself. The staff are very friendly and informative and the nursery is always clean and the ambience is very calm, too. I love how the nursery is set out and the
sensory room is amazing! My daughter also has a plant-based diet and the nursery chef always makes lovely food daily, to meet her dietary requirements. I would highly recommend the nursery, as I don't have any worries at all.
I have a great rapport with all the management and the girls that look after my daughter.

My little boy has recently moved here for his own benefit and it was the best thing for him. He loves nursery, he loves playing in the garden during drop off and collection. I'm particularly impressed with the sports activities the nursery does, as well as all the activities during the day. The variety
of food they provide to the children is fantastic and also how good their communication is on the app. It's nice to know when you're working long periods your child is happy, safe and having fun.

Both my children are at Clifton Lodge. It really feels like they are part of a family. The staff are fantastic. They show real empathy and care for them at all times, as well as making their days fun and engaging. My kids are treated as individuals and their quirks and phases are handled brilliantly.
I feel comfortable leaving them, and that is in no small part due to the great introduction they have in the baby room which is continued at each stage of their progression.

I have two children here one in preschool and one in the baby room. We have been very happy with all staff at Clifton Lodge. The manager is easily approachable and has always been very helpful. The staff have been very welcoming and helpful. The app is updated regularly and the staff always give thorough
feedback at the end of each day. It is clear that the children are the centre of everything. Preschool has brought my son on leaps and bounds, he has learnt so much in a short space of time, a lot of which we are able to use/implement at home. The baby room is such a warm lovely room. Our daughter is very happy here she loves the staff and has formed great bonds with them. We have been extremely impressed with the amount of time the children spend outdoors, doing sports activities and taking trips out. There is obviously a lot of thought, time and effort that goes into each day. We wouldn't want our children anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Cannot recommend or praise this nursery and the staff enough. Our boy has been there a year now, starting at 11 months, and he absolutely loves it. All of the staff are super friendly and personable, which shows in his fondness for each of them. Even the manager knows each child by name and is so hands-on.
Our son has come on leaps and bounds with his development. The meals are always great and they do so many fantastic activities which they post on the parent app which I love. It's super clean, I have no idea how they keep it so clean! Over all fantastic nursery, already recommended to friends whose children now attend also.

Our little boy initially struggled with drop offs and the adjustment of attending nursery. The staff in the baby room have been so patient with him and we are so grateful for their care of him. Now he loves attending nursery and is coming on so much - we receive pictures and updates frequently throughout
the day so we know what he has been getting up to and he always looks like he is having so much fun.

Both of my sons started Clifton Lodge Nursery in May 2022, they settled in so well and that was down to the care and support of all the staff, in particular those in the baby room. The boys have thrived ever since starting Clifton Lodge and we noticed this right from the first week. Every day new activities
are set out for them to explore and learn. The staff in the baby room are so caring of every single child and that is evident when you see the bond they have created with each on pick up and drop off. The manager is very approachable and always happy to help me bring the boys in every morning. I look forward to continuing our progress within Clifton Lodge as the boys grow up, although I will be sad when they leave the baby room!

Being new to the area, my toddler and baby both started Clifton Lodge two months ago and it is a gorgeous setting, with lovely facilities and a great outdoor space for the children to learn and explore!
Above all, the staff have already been so attentive and caring, as well as providing regular updates
to me through the parent app to put my mind at ease throughout the day. The baby room is so welcoming and cosy, and the leader and staff give off such warm, nurturing vibes, that I feel much less guilty when leaving my baby, knowing she is in great care.
I would happily recommend this nursery to others, as my two clingy children have settled here so well and as a mum, I feel really well-informed because of the daily updates.

Fantastic nursery, all the staff are very caring and supportive. Our child loves going and telling us what he has been up to!

My son has been at this nursery for over three years. I have seen true care for the children in each class and at every stage. All staff are helpful and friendly and always helping and guiding the children. The things my son has learnt is truly exceptional and the effort they go to is very inspiring.
I love that the children spend a lot of time out door and do a variety of sports. The manager is so approachable and nothing is too much trouble even when she must be juggling so many things.
I will be sad when he goes to school in September but they have definitely got him ready.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Education and Physical Studies and is committed to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
As a mum of two, she understands the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with families. Her friendly, caring and approachable nature ensures that both children and parents feel supported from day one.
She believes in the power of play, active learning, and a child-centred approach- creating a space where children feel safe, confident, and excited to explore the world around them.
