Kalgarth Grange Nursery School

First time parenting with lots of apprehension about my child going into a nursery and I couldn't have been more relieved. All staff are welcoming and kind. Staff take the time to listen to parents and make changes where possible. As the father of a child who has a disability, there are additional concerns about childcare/nursery, but Kalgarth have made sure my child does not miss out, that they make changes to accommodate and do it all without making parents have any concerns. They've been fantastic in every room my child has been in.

My little girl has been coming here since she was 12 months old. She started her journey in the baby room and I can't fault this room, the team here are exceptional and provided the care, nurturing and comfort my little girl needed while she was settling. The girls went above and beyond to ensure all my little girl's needs were met and provided a range of activities to allow her to develop early language, physical and personal, social and emotional development. My little girl is now in the toddler room and again she is enjoying her time in here. She comes home from nursery every week with a new skill and new milestones being developed; counting, simple colour recognition, animal recognition, physical skills, extended language and independence. It really is the perfect nursery for her and it is allowing her to flourish, learn and have fun every day. As a full-time working mum you can feel guilt, but knowing how happy my little girl is in nursery makes things so much easier.

My son started to attend this nursery just before he turned 2! The staff have been incredible at giving support and updates to us as he has been adjusting. When I had my second child my son really struggled with the change and then was finding it difficult at drop-offs (albeit he was absolutely fine when we left). The nursery did so much to support us and to aid in getting my son more comfortable at drop-offs again! They knew how much he loved space and planets and because of that organised his own sticker chart with planets he could put on when he arrived in the morning. Not only this but they then organised activities around space and even brought in a starlight projector for him! This goes a long way and I know how much effort and time this takes for the team to do but they made it seem like it was no trouble. My son now runs in without even turning around to say bye! As a parent you just want to know you are doing right for your kids and I know Kalgarth was the right choice!

We have been amazed at the level of engagement, experience and skills of the staff here. Our two children moved here in September when we relocated. Our children instantly settled and were encouraged and loved by all staff. We were so touched that they held a little cake celebration on my daughter’s first day as she’d celebrated her birthday just a few days before - a really lovely welcome. The staff are brilliant, engaging and so positive and it’s quite clear that the staff and management love their job and the children. A special mention to the staff members whom have particularly supported our children as key workers. Highly highly recommend this nursery to anyone exploring local nurseries.

Our son always bounced into Nursery and never got upset or stressed when we left him. In our opinion an amazing Nursery with amazing staff, amazing education and amazing values. Well done Kalgarth Grange the best Nursery.

Our daughter has had a fantastic 3 years at the nursery and is leaving a very confident and happy little girl. The staff are amazing, so patient, dedicated, caring and great role models. I’d highly recommend the nursery.

The nursey organises different activities for the kids every month, which let the kids have fun and know more about the world.

My little boy has been at this nursey since April 2021 and it's absolutely fabulous. Such a fantastic nursey, he has come on leaps and bounds since starting and has become so confident and has learnt so much being here.

My daughter loves nursery and all of her teachers. She knows more maths than some Reception children and they do phonics too!

The nursery itself is just lovely - clean, well-kept and displays are always up to date. The staff do so many activities with the children each week and put in a lot of effort into making each day fun and exciting. The kitchen staff do an excellent job of providing healthy meals that my daughter really enjoys too. I am very happy that my little girl attends this nursery - I would highly recommend Kalgarth Grange to any parent!

I can not fault this nursery. The care and detail that goes into looking after my child is above and beyond. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. My little boy is so happy, I honestly could not ask for a better nursery.

We are expecting our second child in 2023 and we will also be registering them a place at Kalgarth. We wouldn’t trust anybody else.

Both of my girls attend this nursery since moving into the area earlier this year. They have been nothing short of amazing with both of them. My eldest has made so many new friends and is learning so much, she tells me something new each day she comes home, she is always happy to tell me about her day and always looks forward to going back the next day. My youngest has grown so much more confident since joining and is now talking so much more and putting sentences together. We really did make the best choice joining this nursery! They go above and beyond for the children and always have time to speak to the parents!

Fantastic nursery. All 3 of my children have attended and been greatly looked after by all the members of staff, who are incredible kind considerate and caring. They really do put the needs of the child first.

My son has attended Kalgarth Grange Nursery School since he was 1 year old, he’s now 3.5. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. The staff and facilities are great. I never feel worried about leaving him when I drop him off even when he is moving up rooms. I receive regular app updates on his progression with pictures. The meals they provide are amazing and he always eats everything! I can see his develop week by week. Thank you to the manager and the team!

Kalgarth Grange Nursery School is an excellent nursery supporting parents and children through development, the care is a very high standard and all the staff are very friendly, welcoming and trustworthy. My child loves going to nursery there and is very excited on nursery days.

My baby has been at Kalgath for nearly 6 months, from being a small baby, and is in the baby class. She has come on leaps and bounds and all the staff are so supportive. They communicate exceptionally and ensure my baby is cared for safely. Can honestly say I made the best choice and I'm glad she will get to spend her first years there. They let me know about any bumps or issues, keep me updated and ensure her welfare.
