Early Learners Nursery Widnes aims to provide the best care and education for each child and a great service to all parents. The Ofsted registered nursery opened its doors to families back in 1985, and was the first private nursery in Widnes.

The nursery has been open for nearly three decades and has a fully qualified early years team who are fully experienced in all aspects of childcare.

Early Learners is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, who support the nursery in achieving high standards of care and education by introducing excellent policies, procedures and training for all employees.

The nursery offer a variety of full and part time places to parents within Widnes.

Early Learners Nursery also offer a pre-school with a variety of FEE (Free Early Education) sessions.

Our 2-year-old has been attending the nursery since December 2024 and I can honestly say his development over those short few months has been excellent. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Best decision we made placing him there.

My little girl started attending in January, after transferring from another nursery I was nervous of how she was going to settle and I was instantly put at ease by the ladies in Tweenie Room. My little girl chats away about the staff who look after her and all her friends she has made. The nursery
app aids communication and is great when wanting to check in quickly. She joins in with a variety of activities and loves the stay and play sessions we have attended. We look forward to watching her progress through the nursery as she already talks about the staff in the next room forming them bonds early on. Staff have also supported us with her eating and toilet training using there knowledge to support.

A fantastic nursery with amazing staff Early Learners Nursery has been an integral part of our lives for the past four years, caring for all three of our boys. Two of them attended up until preschool, and our youngest has been enjoying his time in the baby room most recently.
The staff are exceptional-kind,
attentive, and genuinely invested in the children. They've not only cared for our boys but have also supported us as parents, helping us raise polite and well-prepared children ready to take on their first school years.
The nursery's facilities are wonderful, and I especially love the outdoor play area being tucked away at the back. It provides a sense of security and privacy, which makes us feel so reassured knowing our kids are in such a safe environment.
We are so thankful for the love, care, and dedication the team at Early Learners has shown over the years. They've truly made a lasting impact on our family, and we couldn't recommend them more highly!

My daughter joined Early Learners Nursery Widnes when she was 9 months old and I had to return to work after maternity leave. She is my last baby so I was quite nervous about putting her in to nursery but the staff were wonderful and very reassuring. They send pictures and updates during the day and
now at 23 months old my baby is happy and confident and loves nursery. They have helped her really come out of her shell.
All staff members are welcoming and friendly and the kids love them. The nursery itself caters to all dietary needs (my baby follows a halal diet), there is a lovely outdoor space for the children to play, it's separate from the bigger kids section which avoids the little ones getting hurt accidentally. The nursery has security gates and cameras and operates a password and ID pick up if someone the nursery isn't familiar with is picking a child up.
I'm overall very happy with the nursery staff and facilities.

I can't fault the nursery and staff with anything. Our grandson loves every moment there. Staff always have a big smile on their face no matter how run ragged their day may have been. They go above and beyond for every event no matter how small and their activities.


The only thing I would say is

I would find a parents evening session really helpful as we don't know how he is socially or who his friends are etc?
But again, we as a family can't fault this nursery.

My daughter has attended Early Learners since 2023 in toddlers. She quickly settled in and has developed so much. She knows her way around the nursery and it is like her 2nd home. All the staff are friendly and caring. My daughter is able to express herself with all of the activities which is fulfilling
her completely. She always has something to do to keep her mind and body stimulated. She enjoys being around the other children.

My son started in nursery side, currently in pre school, we have tried different nurseries before but nothing compares to this one. He had some issues with speech and they helped him so much, he gained confidence and learned a lot. He loves to go there since first day! So grateful for all the staff

My son has just completed his time at Early Learners and although he is moving up to infant school he will miss it. I am so happy I decided to send him there. He has learnt so much. My daughter has come a long way from starting as a baby all the way up to Preschool at Early Learners Widnes. All the teachers we’ve come into contact with have been a positive influence, always patient and kind. The educational material is engaging as they encourage the kids to explore with their hands

Outstanding Nursery, provides brilliant care on one to one basis. My son has very much developed his communication skills and increased his vocabulary and language throughout the last 4 months period since he is very new to the country and language. It took a lot of viewing nurseries to find the right one. As soon as we walked into Early Learners Widnes, we and our 9-month-old son knew straight away it was right for us. The ladies are just amazing with him and quickly bonded with him and found his routine and likes/dislikes. Our son loves coming
to nursery and it makes a new mum who is going back to work feel so much at ease.

Friendly staff, accomodating management. Nothing is too big trouble for them and all the staff are lovely. My son started in Babies when he was 8 months old with one day a week and now he's in Tweenies doing 4 days a week and 3 years old. Never had any problems, staff in all the rooms were well-trained
and really thoughtful. All I can say is I can highly recommend Early Learners for your little one in all age groups. Thank you for all your hard work, I can always trust you with my son.

My son has been going since he was 6 months old, he's now in the preschool class. He has settled into each class so well, and he has come on so much too. The staff are all lovely and friendly. My son loves going and has made lots of friends. There is nothing bad I can say about Early Learners!

My daughter has attended Early Learners in Widnes from the age of 1 (baby room) right through to preschool. She has loved every room, especially the members of staff who are what really make the nursery. She has really come on since being there, especially in the last 12 months or so. The nursery itself
is kept really modern and clean and regularly refreshed. My daughter loves playing outside and they have recently upgraded the outdoor play area. There is an app where you can be kept up-to-date with what’s going on that day, but also more general observations as to how they are getting on development-wise in nursery. There are also regular stay and plays and we’ve even been on a trip to a forest! My daughter really does love going to nursery, I could probably count on one hand the number of times she’s told me she doesn’t want to go (usual toddler) and we are looking forward to sending our new baby next year!

Both my children have attended since they were 11 months old and the oldest is just about to leave preschool. The staff have made a huge effort to welcome my little boy. They are always so caring and warm when we drop him off, he loves going to nursery. They do lots of creative and developmental activities which keep him entertained and help him learn new skills. The staff are also great at offering regular
updates on how my little boy is doing via the app and quick chats when you collect your little one which helps ease any worries about being away. Great facilities and lovely staff. A home away from home for my little one.

My daughter has been at Early Learners since around 11 months old. She's now 4 and on her transition into primary school. Placing her into the nursery at a young age was scary but our daughter has reaped the rewards of the time and care put into her by the staff. She's a very clever child and advanced
beyond her age I really do believe it's down to her being at Early Learners. I honestly can't fault them and all the staff. They generally love children and you can see they enjoy there job. I love the bond my daughter has with the staff and the respect and admiration she shows for them tells me everything about how they are with her. A big thank you to all the staff. We have our favourites but I honestly can't fault 1 of you.

Hello my names Michaela, I'm the manager here at Early Learners Nursery Widnes. We have a beautiful nursery which has recently been fully refurbished in 2023. Over the past 40 years we have assembled an excellent experienced and qualified team who are passionate and caring.
