Early Learners Nursery Widnes aims to provide the best care and education for each child and a great service to all parents. The Ofsted registered nursery opened its doors to families back in 1985, and was the first private nursery in Widnes.

The nursery has been open for nearly three decades and has a fully qualified early years team who are fully experienced in all aspects of childcare.

Early Learners is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, who support the nursery in achieving high standards of care and education by introducing excellent policies, procedures and training for all employees.

The nursery offer a variety of full and part time places as well as an out-of-school service to parents within Widnes.

Early Learners Nursery also offer a pre-school with a variety of FEE (Free Early Education) sessions.

My daughter has attended Early Learners since 2023 in toddlers. She quickly settled in and has developed so much. She knows her way around the nursery and it is like her 2nd home. All the staff are friendly and caring. My daughter is able to express herself with all of the activities which is fulfilling
her completely. She always has something to do to keep her mind and body stimulated. She enjoys being around the other children.

My little girl absolutely loves coming to nursery, the Nursery Practitioners are to thank for that. As soon as she sees their faces she's full of smiles and happily goes to them. Thank you girls for everything you do with my little girl.

My son started in nursery side, currently in pre school, we have tried different nurseries before but nothing compares to this one. He had some issues with speech and they helped him so much, he gained confidence and learned a lot. He loves to go there since first day! So grateful for all the staff
members!

My son has just completed his time at Early Learners and although he is moving up to infant school he will miss it. I am so happy I decided to send him there. He has learnt so much. The staff are truly amazing and deserve all the good the world has to offer. I will most definitely be sending my daughter

My daughter has come a long way from starting as a baby all the way up to Preschool at Early Learners Widnes. All the teachers we’ve come into contact with have been a positive influence, always patient and kind. The educational material is engaging as they encourage the kids to explore with their hands
and imagination! I cannot recommend the nursery enough.

I have two children at Early Learners and we have had experience of each room there. The facilities are lovely and always being updated. The parent app is great and is used thoroughly and regularly. My favourite thing about the nursery is the staff. My children's teachers have all been fabulous. They
are so knowledgeable, the activities are really varied and they have brilliant stay and plays regularly. They follow children's interests in such a lovely way, no matter how weird and wonderful they might be. The staff are so kind and patient and they seem to know children that haven't even been in their rooms yet. Can't recommend highly enough!

Outstanding Nursery, provides brilliant care on one to one basis. My son has very much developed his communication skills and increased his vocabulary and language throughout the last 4 months period since he is very new to the country and language. My son loves going there. The staff are very attentive

It took a lot of viewing nurseries to find the right one. As soon as we walked into Early Learners Widnes, we and our 9-month-old son knew straight away it was right for us. The ladies are just amazing with him and quickly bonded with him and found his routine and likes/dislikes. Our son loves coming
to nursery and it makes a new mum who is going back to work feel so much at ease.

Friendly staff, accomodating management. Nothing is too big trouble for them and all the staff are lovely. My son started in Babies when he was 8 months old with one day a week and now he's in Tweenies doing 4 days a week and 3 years old. Never had any problems, staff in all the rooms were well-trained
and really thoughtful. All I can say is I can highly recommend Early Learners for your little one in all age groups. Thank you for all your hard work, I can always trust you with my son.

My son has been going since he was 6 months old, he's now in the preschool class. He has settled into each class so well, and he has come on so much too. The staff are all lovely and friendly. My son loves going and has made lots of friends. There is nothing bad I can say about Early Learners!

My daughter has attended Early Learners in Widnes from the age of 1 (baby room) right through to preschool. She has loved every room, especially the members of staff who are what really make the nursery. She has really come on since being there, especially in the last 12 months or so. The nursery itself
is kept really modern and clean and regularly refreshed. My daughter loves playing outside and they have recently upgraded the outdoor play area. There is an app where you can be kept up-to-date with what’s going on that day, but also more general observations as to how they are getting on development-wise in nursery. There are also regular stay and plays and we’ve even been on a trip to a forest! My daughter really does love going to nursery, I could probably count on one hand the number of times she’s told me she doesn’t want to go (usual toddler) and we are looking forward to sending our new baby next year!

Both my children have attended since they were 11 months old and the oldest is just about to leave preschool. I can honestly say that I am genuinely pleased with the care and development my girls receive. My kids always come home excited to tell me about their day. Thank you, Early Learners. I would

The staff have made a huge effort to welcome my little boy. They are always so caring and warm when we drop him off, he loves going to nursery. They do lots of creative and developmental activities which keep him entertained and help him learn new skills. The staff are also great at offering regular
updates on how my little boy is doing via the app and quick chats when you collect your little one which helps ease any worries about being away. Great facilities and lovely staff. A home away from home for my little one.

My daughter has been at Early Learners since around 11 months old. She's now 4 and on her transition into primary school. Placing her into the nursery at a young age was scary but our daughter has reaped the rewards of the time and care put into her by the staff. She's a very clever child and advanced
beyond her age I really do believe it's down to her being at Early Learners. I honestly can't fault them and all the staff. They generally love children and you can see they enjoy there job. I love the bond my daughter has with the staff and the respect and admiration she shows for them tells me everything about how they are with her. A big thank you to all the staff. We have our favourites but I honestly can't fault 1 of you.

My daughter has attended Early Learners from 1 year old right through to preschool and we couldn't recommend Early Learners Nursery enough. The staff are what make it, especially in the preschool room.
My daughter enjoys the wide range of activities they do every day, ranging from crafts, role play,
fun in the playground, etc. The food is great as well, I was very surprised to see my baby was eating salmon couscous!
There is a handy app to get daily updates on what they eat and what activities they got up to that day. This is especially useful in the baby room when you are trying to keep track of naps, nappy changes, bottles, etc.
My favorite has been the stay-and-play mornings, occasionally allowing parents to attend and join in activities on special occasions like Mother's Day, Christmas, etc.
I'm so happy we chose Early Learners Nursery for our little girl, the staff have been instrumental in our daughter's development and we are sad to be leaving soon, but they have given her the best start ready for school.

My child had attended nursery here from the age of 3 to almost 5 and loved it. The staff are caring and kind. They provide fun and stimulating activities and my child thrived here with his education and his independence. A year later to the present day he now attends holiday club here because he feels
safe and cared for he chose to return to have some summer fun in an environment that makes him feel happy. The staff are very supportive.
I have now chosen to place my baby here in the new year with every confidence she will be well looked after and will learn and thrive.

Both of my children attended Early Learners (I chose it for them as I attended in the 1980s). They absolutely loved going to nursery every day. They had consistent teachers, who they adored and I was always made to feel welcome with regular stay and play sessions. Regular feedback on progress is given
and the children follow strict planning which helped them achieve their goals. Was so sad to leave and would highly recommend it to any potential new parents.

Early Learners is a fantastic setting, I was very comfortable allowing my little girl to attend this nursery, with long-standing staff members who have been around since I attended the same nursery 30 years ago! The staff and setting are lovely throughout the different years, with plenty for the children
to get creative with and develop their learning. My daughter hit all her milestones and I’m very happy with the nursery.

Hello my names Michaela, I'm the manager here at Early Learners Nursery Widnes. We have a beautiful nursery which has recently been fully refurbished in 2023. Over the past 40 years we have assembled an excellent experienced and qualified team who are passionate and caring.
